As with all songs on Harbinger of Woe, the drums were tracked in one full take with no punch-ins, and the video was shot simultaneously. This is as real as drums can be on an album nowadays.

First of all: insane drumming as always! Both the writing and execution of the drums on the new album are superb!
Second, I was curious to know what kick pads you're using and if you used "static" samples or a vst for their sound on the album. Keep it up!

Thank you! I'm using Evans Realfeel pads for my kicks and Ontrigger for the triggers. Ontrigger is a pedal-mounted trigger, so I don't have to use a pad with any sort of sensor. Josh replaced my kick trigger sound with a blend of samples that he came up with.
