ask your jungler not to gank? sadly when someone goes 0/5 in their lane theu will probbably blame their jungler the you gank, enemy get double kill and they report you
9th Doctor i agree junglers always wanna gank winning lanes to stop those solo laners and stomp them and make them behind but still, good junglers always gank around 3:15 mark.
Hey Scrap, i dont know how you got only 166.920 suscribers cause your vids are really good! i personally think you are the best youtuber that talks about Lol's mechanics and general stuff.
For tip number 5, I believe I remember hearing about using ganks to get a team member who's behind in order to help them get even. I don't mean let them get a kill then blow their bounty, like you mentioned in tip 7, but give them the gold and free time to cs safely in order for them to be able to take care of themselves a little better. Once they're even, the laner they're against won't be able to snowball as heavily against him or her, and it allows the team to become a 5v5 instead of a 5v5 but one is practically dead already.
You forgot splitting. Not just pushing, straight up splitting, even when behind, certain champs just can't do anything else and while they are feeding, they at least create pressure. E.g Tryndamere or Zed. They might even get a kill or two after they get enough gold and items. Also, doesn't your bounty reset on gold acquired too?
Very good points. This is why champs with poor wave clear are just miserable when behind. You can't push, you can't kill, you have no utility, you are in trouble.
I agree wholely with the don't take kills tip, tank items cost less so focus on farming and building utility tank so that you can lock down the enemy safely or buff your teammates to get them fed so they can burst the fed enemy.
Hey scrap, you think you could make a video on not getting caught out? I'm a gold player so I'm not that great, but I have decent positioning and rarely get caught out of position in a fight or the enemy jungle, and I never fight an enemy solo in the jungle without vision, however my teammates and friends I queue with don't seem to understand how this works at all and throw by being out of position quite often. Lmao I need this video guide to exist so I can email it to my silver college friends who run around the jungle late-game with no vision, if you put some time into helping people with this I'd appreciate it.
Think about the ways the enemy team could pick you off. Is it a Blitzcrank hook through the wall ? Nidalee spear ? Quinn flying at you as fast as an airplane ? then think about which opponent could be where. If you do have enough ward coverage to know where they are, it's fine, just avoid them. If you don't, watch out, they might be closer than you think. And try to think at any moment about why you are doing what you do. If you are farming toplane, are you overextended ? Isn't it a good time to group for dragon instead ? If you are stealing their red, could they catch up onto you ? stuff like that.
Richard Lehmann I guess matchmaking is a lot more fucked up because of the season reset, it'll be okay in a few months. Just try to do the most out of it and climb up :D And don't look at people op.gg, lolnexus and all that stuff, it puts useless pressure on you and you can't focus properly on the game. And it's a completely useless information, irrelevant until players play 300 games and get to their usual elo.
I must know, what's with this meme about Nautilus being useless? I'm hearing it everywhere and I just don't see how he could be useless when he provides so much as a tank.
Can you tell me what to do when my adc is behind and i am a supp. I really cant do half of those things anyway cause i am a supp. If i stay back my adc will be exposed, if i am in front i am gonna take a lot of damage for free cause the adc won't be able to output as much as the enemy.
mustafa geldiev When playing with a bad lane buddy try to be the rock if you are squishy like Janna for example stay safe but make it hard for the enemy team to even hit you. I've won a game by holding my tower as a support while our ADC kept going in unwinnable picks. Remember towers are more important than dragon and baron for the most part. All a dragon and baron is a tower pusher.
in a situation where you're far behind and the enemy laner roams to another lane, is it better to stay in lane and hard push and farm up or to follow the enemy laner in hopes of assisting your team in getting him?
Thanks man! I used this strat in my game today as Janna support. Wasn't doing so well so I built a lot more of tanky utility items and we won even though I was 0/6/11 :)
Cool. The way I build janna lets me get 40 cdr from just item's so I normally go swiftness or mobility boots it's great for in fight mobility or rotations or for my personally favourite trolling the tunnel visioned enemy team trying kill me by issuing all my self peal to kite them LITERALLY all over the map :D that and I pref soul stealer over Athenians as a final item since I find janna can't really use the passive tones but she gets assists out the ass late game and almost never dies ether leading to the reasoning why I love mobility boots on her so much.
Mate, about the part when you're behind and you get a free gank which might lead you to a kill, there are 2 sides here: 1. Your side, which is for tilted players basically and also new ones to the game which is totally fair and alright. 2. The other side in which you take the kill because that champion being dead will not be back in lane as fast, thus you will have enough time to farm and recover some of the exp that you've lost, thus you're not being as behind as you used to be and if you use your brain (not tilted nor a newb) you can avoid constantly dying to that enemy champion. But this is also my point of view as a mid main. I don'[t always take the kills, I leave them to my adc, jungle, top as my play style is very different from what you see on champion.gg for example or other sites of the like and I gather gold much faster as well as I'm usually one of the top damage dealers of that game if not the highest damage dealer of that game. Otherwise, nice video, but you could change the video and use another one, as it's my 3rd time seeing this video but with another name ;P.
This reminds me of a game me and my friend played :) an enemy caitlin got us both (we where jinx and thresh) then I told him: "let's stay under tower and just farm until they make a mistake" we ended up diyng again because their jungler came and they all dived us, but we then pinged our team to get rift harald and they did. I kept telling my friend not to worry and just farm and eventually he outscalled the caitlin just by farming well and we ended up winning the game. I felt so good about us winning because I felt like we were very good at playing save and not feed as much as we could have - the caitlin ended up getting 7 kills in total which is alright ^^
play Veigar, you will always be useful because of your awesome E, so simple and yet effective. your stacks will give you enough gold value to be relevant and your E can single handedly win a teamfight and most of the time you can blow up the enemy team ADC/ midlaner
Keep pushing! Just do it! ignore the enemy trying to get you under your turret! Simulaneously juck the enemy fungler. Kappa @6 and if you're the only/main damage source of the team, keep going for raw max dmg so you won't be absolutely useless with your gold deficit so your team has a chance to come back. and for 8: To me that's more of a problem if I misplay stupidly or my team is just inhuman rather than being behind :D
Tip 5: I tried explaining this to an incredibly salty Fiora once. She was feeding a Riven and begging for ganks and I told her no because the Riven would just double kill us and then it's basically game over and she started calling in all chat to report me for being selfish. I was getting our other lanes ahead, but at that point she was practically inting, so the enemy Riven basically just 1v9 stomped us.
ScrapComputer I know, but I want to ask, how do I deal with players like that who feed before you can gank for them and then don't follow the tips to stay useful when behind and just keep taking fights and feeding more?
Can you really get tanky or get yourself utility if you're e.g. an ADC? If I'm fairly badly behind as Jinx or MF for example what sort of items would you recommend?
PalaeoTube actually it's pretty hard to itemize a behind adc, all you have to do is to position as good as possible on teamfights and your utility item is either getting a mercurial scimitar or guardian angel
PalaeoTube Yes, if you're so behind, you have to make the game longer by not issuing teamfights and getting some objectives and farm as much as possible and grab your items and slowly get back to the game.
PalaeoTube Im talking seriously. If you go 0/3 in the first 6 mins or so and the enemy team has a rengar and a katarina i would suggest you going guardian angel, either steraks or redemption and if you see you comeback into the game you build normal damage items. If not, you should get a frozen mallet and then a locket.
Then they are deliberately trying to tilt the fuck out of you. Deny them that by telling the other lanes "Whenever they're at my lane, push them in so hard that they shit in reverse". This tends to A) win you a game unless the other lanes are feeding too hard or B) make them throw away their tent and start playing the game properly.
Also as a side note I'd recommend playing with all chat off since scummy opponents will use it to tilt you if you make a mistake. Had this happen to me once it was awful :(
I don't get it. Why did Bjergsen say "If you are behind , build offensive items so you can come back into the game". I think it's still on League's YT channel where he's played with Imagine Dragons guy
As a professional you should do this, as the average player who can't figure out a situation and make the right decision 10/10 times means you'll just fall further behind.
I remember watching this too :Di believe he was talking about carry champs in particular. In my experience (diamond ADC here), if a carry champ doesn't have enough damage to be relevant, then it doesn't matter as much if they die. Obviously it depends on the situation, but I think that's what he was talking about :)
my strategy when I'm getting stomped as a mid or top is to just not be in lane. especially if the enemy can kill me under tower, I'd rather give up the tower and go to another lane and help that lane get a kill or push. if I'm jungle and behind its much worse, and it's the worst when I'm jungle and I'm doin fine but all of the lanes are feeding and pinging for ganks but they are all down 2 or more kills and I'm like none of you are worth it lol
Could you do a video on how to play adc after laning phase? I don't know if others have the same problem but whenever I play adc, I do good in lane but the dont know what to do before and in teamfights and end up dying.
@Alexander Ekrot If you usually win lane you should try to push down the enemy bot turret in lane (but be careful for ganks). After that, push out botlane and go mid. If you can get a free kill there,go ahead, if not just get some tower damage (now it's really important: only tower DAMAGE, dont greed for the turret and be careful, not to be engaged while damaging the turret). If the enemy mid has waveclear you can also rotate top, but thats riskier, because you cant react if the enemy bot pushes ur turret. Then you have to ask a teammate (which you dont want to rely on) to hold bot. If you have taken down the outerturrets by doing as described above, you have to just stay safe, maybe try to catch enemys in the jungle, but as adc thats not ur job (exept u play Ashe, Varus or Jhin, then try to use your ulti as often as possible to catch someone, even if you might miss them). But what if you dont win lane, well if you are even i can tell you just farm, try to not miss a single cs (thats already enough to get a cs lead most of the time, at least below dia). Laningphase ends if a Bot turret falls so even if you dont dominate your opponent, try to get some tower damage, that'll add up. If you lose your tower tho, you shoud either abandon botlane and mirror the movement of the enemy botlane if you think you can keep up in fights or you try to push down the enemy bot turret, while the enemy bot is busy somewhere else (care for assassins picking u off tho, wards do help in this case). If the enemy stays bot and you cant fight them and they happen to push to your inner turret, just ask your jungle and maybe mid (depends on how ahead they are. Even tho scrap said you shouldnt ask for ganks while behind , if you cant hold your turret and they push alone in a long lane its ok) for help. As adc in the mid to late game just stay near at least one teammate at ANY time and never go into fog of war. If your team does, dont go first. In teamfights, if you stay near teammates in the first place, they might help you, otherwise damage the highest priority target that is safe to do so. The rest is experience, mechanics and intuition. I hoped i gave you some kind of idea or a plan that you can execute on. Btw if you are curious I am Plat 3 adc main on EUW right now, peak in S6 was Plat 1. I got a lot of knowledge from Phylol. As an adc main really check him out. Have a nice day :)
I watched a lot of Phy's videos but can't learn shit from it, I just go into relax mode and can't think anything out of it, I guess that's not concise enough for me. Good thing you can sum it up there. I do agree on most of what you advise, except I can't get in my mind that a CS lead is a big advantage in soloQ. I happened to be 50 CS ahead at 10 min as Cait vs Vayne, but it didn't matter. My Zac missed pretty much all his ganks and fed her, her Lee kicked me too many times, and BAM : we are even in farm, she's ahead in kills and destroyed my bot tower. She snowballed and won that game. Also, I avoid the "push every time, all laning phase long" strategy because I value more being near my tower, in a safe position, where my jungler can gank but I don't fear too much the enemy jungler. Oh, and I gotta learn for sure to spam ping the tower after receiving a gank so my jungler helps me take it, he usually taxes some farm and then leave. And when the enemy jungler ganks me, he takes the tower in the meantime T_T Is it useful to ask for solo gold when destroying first tower ? Looks like no one gives a shit about that in my games.
Vor'rake Dryom ahh I feel you. I have had enough games where i stomped my lane got like 30 cs lead and it didn't matter because of the teams, but what i meant is first you should definetly not miss out on any gold by screwing lasthits and second it does increase your odds of winning. I know a 50 CS lead (although its worth 2 kills) doesnt matter much in some games but actually mist of the things you do dont win u the entire game. They all just increase your odds of winning. So dont focus too much on games you lost w/ a cs lead, I'm pretty sure you won a lot of games w/ a cs lead as well. Also about the "push mentality", I know what you mean but if you push, you can actually be very safe to ganks if you do it right. Obviously you should only push if you have pressure, otherwise even the enemy laner can punish you for that. Given that you have pressure and you ward the river/tri-brush you cannot only see the ganks via wards, but also the lane cant engage first and bait you, because it is very suspicious, since YOU have pressure and they suddenly play aggressive and also they might die in the process of baiting a fight. I know its not always like that, but basically pushing isnt always a free gank and the first tower botlane is extremely importan, not even because of the gold, but because it opens up the game for you and thats literally the only way as an adc to impact other lanes. Also in 90% of my games no one gives me solo towergold as well, but I think asking isnt too out of place.
pokemaster250 tru. especially not adc. Can't push lane by yourself if you're a low mobility adc like jhin, you'll just get caught out. Building tank does nothing for u, and the actual items u need are generally expensive so you probably wont get your full build and remain useless. feelsbad
Start with the tank items as soon as you notice you won't come back in the lane, prepare your inventory so you have enough room for boots -> 2 defensive items -> 1 offensive item -> 1 more offensive item or 1 hybrid one (like Maw). What I want to point out is that building full tank doesn't work as Riven, Irelia, Pantheon, Yasuo, you need some damage to be a relevant threat.
ScrapComputer I did. Usually I was too exhausted to process what you were saying but what I did listen to was high quality and very helpful. Good luck on the rest of your RUclips channel career
thank you for making this video, a lot of low elo pleebs don't know about this, especially the gold reset when you get a kill
ask your jungler not to gank?
sadly when someone goes 0/5 in their lane theu will probbably blame their jungler
the you gank, enemy get double kill and they report you
a4mo As a jungler you don't have to listen to your laners, it's not your job to bring back into the game someone who went 0/5 in a 1v1.
Kaf3in0 B I know man but my teammates just dont listen
Maybe your in bronze. Junglers never gank when a lane is behind, junglers gank winning lanes
9th Doctor
i agree
junglers always wanna gank winning lanes to stop those solo laners and stomp them and make them behind
but still, good junglers always gank around 3:15 mark.
Junglers can gank 0/1 lanes just fine, not 0/5 though.
Hey Scrap, i dont know how you got only 166.920 suscribers cause your vids are really good! i personally think you are the best youtuber that talks about Lol's mechanics and general stuff.

How to remain useful when behind as Riven: Leave.
Kappa
You forgot splitting. Not just pushing, straight up splitting, even when behind, certain champs just can't do anything else and while they are feeding, they at least create pressure. E.g Tryndamere or Zed. They might even get a kill or two after they get enough gold and items.
Also, doesn't your bounty reset on gold acquired too?
100 creeps. Don't know how it is on assists.
Very good points. This is why champs with poor wave clear are just miserable when behind. You can't push, you can't kill, you have no utility, you are in trouble.
MrMagpie33 That's why you git gud and never lose your lane. tehe. "Kappa"
1:14 i like how that. jayce was part of all kills in the game at that point
...including the enemy kills
Yaay, I can hear you a lot better in this video Scrap.
Your bounty also resets on aquired gold so getting kills doesn't matter all if you farm more than 1k between deaths.
I agree wholely with the don't take kills tip, tank items cost less so focus on farming and building utility tank so that you can lock down the enemy safely or buff your teammates to get them fed so they can burst the fed enemy.

Think about the ways the enemy team could pick you off. Is it a Blitzcrank hook through the wall ? Nidalee spear ? Vor'rake Dryom I already do that.. still stuck in bronze 1 while getting matchmaked with ex low plat and ex high gold players :/
Richard Lehmann I guess matchmaking is a lot more fucked up because of the season reset, it'll be okay in a few months. Just try to do the most out of it and climb up :D

He isn't useless. Memes are not to be taken seriously :D
like you said, its just a meme
I play league since half a year (mostly as nautilus support) but i have never seen anyone else play him

kiting assassins around the map with mobility boots on Janna, is possibly the most satisfying thing ever inside of League of Legends
Scrap you really deserve more subscribers I used you tips to get from silver 1 to diamond 3 in Europe west

good video as always

assist dont reset the bounty score ?
Run it down mid so you can help the enemy team :D
Oh great, the platinum godlike youtuber is teaching us how to get better ;)
I'm not even platinum, i was diamond last season and just don't play much league :)
Can you really get tanky or get yourself utility if you're e.g. an ADC? If I'm fairly badly behind as Jinx or MF for example what sort of items would you recommend?
PalaeoTube
actually it's pretty hard to itemize a behind adc, all you have to do is to position as good as possible on teamfights and your utility item is either getting a mercurial scimitar or guardian angel

nautilis is so fun as support tho :( and a good support to play as too
8:44 the real reason i watch scrap computer :'D
What if there are relentless ganks when you are pushing and diving ganks when you are freezing...? That's when I ff usually..
I'm new to the game but if they are focusing that hard shouldn't your other lanes get an advantage ?
Then they are deliberately trying to tilt the fuck out of you. Deny them that by telling the other lanes "Whenever they're at my lane, push them in so hard that they shit in reverse". This tends to A) win you a game unless the other lanes are feeding too hard or B) make them throw away their tent and start playing the game properly.
How do you remain calm when people start flaming you for being behind...
Dark Fiery mute them say "wusa" think i report u even when we win and go tanky
DJM is right, just mute them and YOUR own game, not theirs.
ScrapComputer wtf?
did u realy say i am right?
did u realy anser on this?
omg thx man.
by the way nice work ;)
Also as a side note I'd recommend playing with all chat off since scummy opponents will use it to tilt you if you make a mistake. Had this happen to me once it was awful :(
Dark Fiery I mute my teammate at the first sign of negativity. Once I started doing this my winrate started climbing.
being able to get carried is an even more important skill than being the carry
That webcam delay tilts me so hard... I think im going to feed the next game I play

7:00 I was losing one time wif annie and I go for a tank ap build nobody could kill me and I change the game (we win)
Man I don't even know how to remain useful when ahead, let alone when behind.
yeah that's awesome
Holy those teams where so bad
Thanks for the guide, even consistent players get behind sometimes Kappa
Duckox noot noot!
"dont gank when behind" i keep telling this to people and have for the longest time but people simply do not understand that 300 gold > 100 gold.
eegth teeps to remeen useful
about the dying tip. as soon as you hit 1000 gold from cs without dying your bounty is reset too.
Flakboy115 Thank you very much!
Vor'rake Dryom i used to love phy's videos, but recently he just always tilts hard and can't really learn much :c
8:42 voice break
felt useless yesterday when you crushed me and stib in lane :c
Get REKT scrub. Skrappa :P
ScrapComputer just you wait... I'll be Challenjour skill lvl at the end of the season with the help of my senpai (tommy) Kappa
these do not apply to every lane/roll
pokemaster250 tru. especially not adc. Can't push lane by yourself if you're a low mobility adc like jhin, you'll just get caught out. Building tank does nothing for u, and the actual items u need are generally expensive so you probably wont get your full build and remain useless. feelsbad
what to build when 0/6 adc
ho i will take dat kill as 0-19 jax i neeeeed it
#1 Don't flame
Ty for the tips so ill just build full tank riven if i get behind (no sarcasm)
Start with the tank items as soon as you notice you won't come back in the lane, prepare your inventory so you have enough room for boots -> 2 defensive items -> 1 offensive item -> 1 more offensive item or 1 hybrid one (like Maw). What I want to point out is that building full tank doesn't work as Riven, Irelia, Pantheon, Yasuo, you need some damage to be a relevant threat.
but what if nobody carries O.o
Then turtle as much as you can, dont give up too much farm, ward up, make some picks, defend major objectives and comeback in teamfights.
so I just got placed in an elo and I'm Bronze II. is that good?
If you ever ask if it's good, it probably isn't. Don't worry, the majority of the League community is in bronze-silver.
Vor'rake Dryom well I ask because I barely started playing recently and this is the first time I was placed in an elo
Agent A It's pretty common, nothing outstanding for your first placement matches. Time to get better and climb up !
Vor'rake Dryom kkkkkkk
you fuckin suck

No problem, best of luck in life my friend! I hope you enjoyed my channel while you were here.
ScrapComputer I did. Usually I was too exhausted to process what you were saying but what I did listen to was high quality and very helpful. Good luck on the rest of your RUclips channel career
