That gen Thunderbird platform (MN10) was very advanced for its time. Such a shame the 1994 Mustang never got it. FoMoCo could've used that platform to build a sport sedan.
and i think 1994 was the new 4th Gen Mustang. i wonder what direction did Ford really want to go. it was a miracle both nameplates didn’t die in the 90’s
Hi there, I'm Tedly M. We responded to each other during Mark VI videos earlier this year. I bought a 1983 Mark VI earlier this year. The glove box was locked and did not open with the key. Today I pulled on the glove box and broke the latch. Do you know of Lincoln restorers in our area? My usual mechanic does not. I enjoyed your T-Bird video, and I own a 2002 Premium that I bought new. Thank you,
glad to keep in touch. sounds like Pull-A-Part resource from a scrapyard. i personally don’t know of a specialist, but this glovebox was used throughout 1980 - 1989 Mark and Town Car. Also thanks for watching the video. The Thunderbird should’ve stayed in production. 2002 was a good year. Is yours the V8?
Looking back ford should have supercharged the V8!! What a missed opportunity!!! You'd have to wait 10 more yrs till they figured it out with the Terminator.......
ya got that right Andrew. but funny thing is, seems like Ford did everything they could to keep the Mustang top performer during the 90’s. even if it meant choking other Ford products. remember, Thunderbird was the original corvette killer.
Good meeting you 😊
likewise 😊
great variety of content on your channel @MrMach1

too bad the 5.0 didn t came in manual
i think by the 90’s era Ford protected the Mustang position, even at the performance expense of other products in their lineup.

@@xrmerkur Indeed its fun taking a look back in time, dumping the Panther was another mistake imagine a panther with the current V8's.....
@@AndrewJacobson-cq2om you know the police interceptor would’ve got a dual throttle body intake with the 4th Gen Coyote.
@@xrmerkur Would be perfect for the Town car, To bad im not the CEO....
