Rex H pls your headlamps I can see yours have two bulbs instead of one, mine has one H4 which is not bright enough for me @ night. Can I get a retrofit that can work with mine? Mine is a 1997 Toyota Camry i4 le.
hey man if you get a h4 LED bulb from like ebay that'll fit right in and be brighter than stock. you wont need to do any sort of retro fitting. My car only has one h4 for each headlamp
Ok, your headlamp looks more like the 2002 model, what I mean is it uses four bulbs, one for low beam and the other for the high beam, mine is just one bulb that works as both the low beam and high beam
I think this is really cool people shun me for modifying my 05 Camry Sportivo. Its 1MZ Manual :DDD. But im in the process of installing a TRD Aurion Motor :) and keeping it manual :D. ive got the motor just waiting on more money for engine mounts and extractors. Im currently giving it a bunch of major servicing and lucky me it only has 90k kms. If you are ever in NSW Sydney (i know you were here not that long ago) id love to show you it :D You should try get the 1mz supercharger, very rare to find. but my Question for you is. Whats the next performance related mod ?
Cool dude. You've done a lot for your car than most people have. V6 Camry is a great car but honestly just with your tires and if you would of bought coil overs it would of been the best sleeper car. Strut bar and rear sway bar are good but coilovers would of pretty much done the job for you. Lastly with the amount of money you spent on a car you could of just bought a performance car. At the end of the day I give you respect. Great job.
Great video man! I bought a Lexus SC400 as a second car (my first bucket list car :)), and wanted to Star Wars theme it, specifically as the Millennium Falcon. I have since sold it and transferred my plate over (it's custom and cost me $80 in the state I live in) and am in the process of Star Wars theme-ing my Camry. These videos help keep me motivated. I can't BELIEVE you run Michelin Pilot Sport tires man. They sound expensive! I'm going to be running the cheapest set of summer tires I can find once the rubber need replacing.
So there's a 2001 V6 5 speed for $1000 here in California. I'm thinking of buying it as a cool daily. Hows the gas milage on yours? How many miles does your full tank get?
Love your vids man, awesome choice in mods too! Money well spent (Except for the fart cannon but eh it's still funny haha). Awesome to see other RUclipsrs from Melbourne as welll :) Hope your channel keeps growing!
Love the video just found your channel from the magna vrx review you did recently as i have a magna. Love your vids ive spent a ton of money on my car basically just to keep it running and looking good lol magna here but hey 3 grand isnt that much at the end of the day to make your car cool for you and others plus you care about safety and keeping it running so thats cool too. Cheers
Sweet vids man brings back memories for when I first got my ps (been off them just over a year now) and it didn't matter what sort a car we had shit or what doing little mods just introducing ourselves to the car scene
As a fan and owner of the Maxima Se of the same year, I had absolutely no idea this Camry had people modding them in this fashion. As luck would have it, a guy down the street from me has a 2000 in such good condition. I'm bout to get that. And hello from across the Pacific. Its also very strange how similar the Maxima and Camry used to be.
That 1998 Camry design and generation was along with the Lexus ES 300 series of that time is one of the best cars ever manufactured. In this time those cars are gold mines the air conditioning in those cars are Ice cold I have a 1998 Camry the car started in minus 50 below wind chills and the heating system is exceptional. This car is the most reliable car I have ever had that car is a classic and the style was way ahead of its time.
if u lowered ur car then u defiantly need a front lip or the unevrsal 2.5inch lip for all around the car they cost 20$ on ebay ... or the cluster or dashboard ledlights 5$ ... or trunk running lights for 30$ ..... and so there's tons of cheap mods that ppl don't know about ..and they can make a different and for cheap instead of spending a lot of money on miss that everybody knows
Hey man. Nice Video. Camry's are so underrated. Just picked up my 2nd Camry (2004 Sportivo, 100kkm for $3k) and this video has given so good mods to think about. I'm keen for 18", but am worried the rims will break on rural roads. Any advice on the ones you have? Any issues?
Ignoring wheels and tires, you have spent $1455 on this. That would be about $985 US dollars. That may seem like a lot to some people, especially if you're first starting out, but that is actually a pretty good value. Modding cars gets expensive, especially depending on the car itself. On my MR2 Spyder, I spent $350 ($517 AUD) just on my headlights alone doing a full retrofit. Honestly, in total I spent more than what you have (Besides tire/rim) on just the exhaust alone for it. Full PPW downpipe with custom muffler. This isn't to say you haven't spent a lot. This is also not to brag. It's just a comparison of what you have spent vs what some others have. Different car of course but I only just got my Camry. Ignoring repairs, I've installed a headunit, speakers, subwoofer, amp, headlights, and LED throughout. I think I spent about $480 ($710 AUD) give or take. Things start to add up quickly. But don't let that be a deterrent! This can be an expensive hobby. But it's a great hobby. Keep going. For those just starting out modding a car. Go for quality of life things first! Headunit and speakers make the ride a lot more enjoyable. Tinting windows is also really nice. Upgrading interior and exterior lights to LED makes it so you don't have to worry about them going out on you and honestly it's nice opening your door and being able to actually see inside. Once you get more comfortable, start doing performance modifications. Handling should always be first, that includes suspension/wheels/strut/swaybars. THEN get into engine performance. Reason being is because that can become a money pit real quick. It always starts with a simple intake and exhaust and then suddenly you're looking at turbo kits.
Hey man, hope you can read this. wanna ask where did you get those black plastic strip for the headlight unit? I do have a ‘97 camry with LED lamps as well, wanna make mine look sleek like yours too! Thanks!
Hey mate I’m from Melbourne and I love the fact that you drive through my home town on some of your vids. Anyways my question for you is, what are your views just in general on the more commonly found ford falcons that you see around that are modded?
Still more to spend ;) haha. What’s ol’ mate doing with that cannon? I want to make a custom one but can’t be arsed to fab it lol. Just wondering if I do make one what flange did you use? I’m thinking of just getting another stock muffler and cutting it off and welding on a new pipe.
I have a black 2000 camry, and I have some of the most ugliest interior.. I would like to maybe get se nicer interior... but all the camry's I've seen in this model are all the same color... but I would like to note that I saw a lexus es300 and the interior looked the same and I was curious if the interior would swap.. I know the cars are similar in shape and style.. but I am curious if this is possible and whether I should attempt...
How many mm is your new back and front sway bar. I need to get some new ones. I have leds all the way around my 2000 Camry outside. They are as follows Oracle lighting V Series 9005 and 9006 led headlight bulbs. The rest are Sylvania Zevo Super Bright Led bulbs. Turn signals are also led with a flasher that handles both standard and led bulb. My new stereo system is Sony radio reciever with CD player. Speakers are Kickers. I plan to do more. As far as rims and tires I will go with 16 X 7 stock steel rims 2015 - 2017 Camry rims. Tires will be 205/55R16's. I can't get custom rims because I live in a crime area. I hope you still have your father's Camry.
Alyssa Puryear I did install it myself and it's very simple if you get the right cables! You need a Toyota adapted cable and then a cable that goes to the head unit. I have a Sony mex 515bt or something and it was plug and play unless someone has done something before hand
Bruh, Ik this is an older video of yours, but even at the time, you've spend more than I paid for my Camry as a whole... I have the same model and everything, Conquest V6 auto
Ask your questions down below and they'll be answered in the next video!

Sweet vids man brings back memories for when I first got my ps (been off them just over a year now) and it didn't matter what sort a car we had shit or what doing little mods just introducing ourselves to the car scene

Camry is a classic. It’s nice cause no matter how much money ima spend on it, I’ll have it forever.

I just want to say. A front strut bar increases front stiffness meaning more understeer. Just want to put it out there.
Hello, I have a 1999 Toyota Camry for about 2 yrs now and I Love My Camry.
Hey man. Nice Video. Camry's are so underrated. Just picked up my 2nd Camry (2004 Sportivo, 100kkm for $3k) and this video has given so good mods to think about. I'm keen for 18", but am worried the rims will break on rural roads. Any advice on the ones you have? Any issues?
the rims i have are lenso rims and they havent warped or anything, they're very solid no problems at all!

You forgot to mention what year and mileage on your Camry. And if you wanna keep it for good I don't think you wasted your money

Did you install the head unit yourself? If so did you make a video or follow one to do it? I'm getting one today and would love to see some options
Alyssa Puryear I did install it myself and it's very simple if you get the right cables! You need a Toyota adapted cable and then a cable that goes to the head unit. I have a Sony mex 515bt or something and it was plug and play unless someone has done something before hand
