where you managed to catch a glimpse of Swan Roamer last Sept for our very first broads boating experience we had one of her sister boats called Swan Radiance for 2 weeks and we enjoyed it despite getting caught up in a boat chase as a private boat owner thought it would be great to break the speed limit between Wroxham & Horning and we was practically pushed into the bank from the huge wash they caused it involved 3 broads authority boats and a police launch that came from the opposite direction to stop them, and one of the broads authority boats saw what was happening to our boat and came over to us in case they were needed, we managed to get control of the boat but we had to stop and compose ourselves as we were shaking and one of the authority men boarded us and took us into Barnes Brinkcraft they took us round to the office to pay for our overnight mooring fee but something must have been said as we was given our mooring fees back by Barnes Brinkcraft which was nice of them, the broads authority came back to us the following morning to check that we had recovered before they would let us leave, they then asked us for a statement as to what we saw and what happened to us in the aftermath, we then continued our holiday we did debate whether to go again and after chatting to richardsons over what had happened as they were also notified, we decided to go again on a different boat from richardsons
all the wind mills/pump Mills whatever they are called the broads authority should get the ones that still have they're sails renovated and working so that people can enjoy watching them moving again and I bet it would make them one of the broads main attractions
Hi Bryan Another great video which reminds me of why we keep returning to the Broads. I am curious as to where you were at point 6 mins 30 in your video. I don't recognise the location Regards Reiner
from video time of 19.46 where the wherry comes in to Moor where the Ronaldo Norfolk fruit ice cream sign is what place is that mooring area called and is it free mooring or private?
How Hill on River Ant about half way between Ludham Bridge and Barton Broad. A long stretch of free BA moorings although the area you see the Wherry mooring in is usually reserved, no facilities apart from toilets half way up the hill (locked at night). Well worth an afternoon stop, large grass area, BA information office (with ice creams), Eel Catcher's Cottage, nature walk, Secret Gardens and trips around the marshes opposite in an electric boat..
Bryan Willmore many thx for that, I did have some sort of idea that it was how hill but wasn’t absolutely sure thats why i asked, but with a bit of luck we’ll stop there probably for our first night depending on what time we get the boat from richardsons, it will be our second time with them so hopefully we won’t need a boat tutorial even though we had swan radiance for our first time and we have one of the Broadsman boats this time, but its a biggger boat so i hope they won’t insist on the tutorial that they we can get straight out, as we won’t need to do shopping first this time as we’ll have already done it as we are staying in a chalet the night before across the road from richardsons
what a pity you put those stills in as it sort of spoils the video, I would have put the stills in towards the end with a small description of what or where the stills was taken, otherwise a great video
the bloke with the 2 dogs doesn't he read notices and signs etc by the broads authority stating not to let dogs swim in the northern rivers because of the algae in the rivers which is dangerous to both dogs and humans
private boat owner again seem to be going a bit to fast and yet they are the first to complain about boat hirers and hire companies about any hirers speeding and yet they are doing it then themselves so they cant complain
Thanks for this beautiful and really well done video of Norfolk Broads. Inspiring me for few paintings..😊😊
What a fantastic video documentary. Enjoyed it very much.. Camera resolution is also very HD.. Thanks for sharing

Do you watch these videos every month or something every broads video you comment 10 plus times different months 🤣
Nice video except for the wind noise........surely someone could put a sock in it (or on it ) .
why no commentary just putting to sleep music lol
