Brings back good memories of our last family holiday on the Broads. We went through in our sailing cruiser in one attempt, mast down , through and then mast up and away. must have been lucky with the water level and not much traffic. Happy days.
The 8th boat that goes through is a Hunter's Yard yacht, can't quite make out the name but it looks like it might be Hustler 2, 3, 4 or 5. Quanted Wood Violet under that bridge last year and going to again on Hustler 1 next month, great boats.
So nice to see responsible adults controlling boats as apposed to the idiots who are let loose on cruisers! This brings back fond memories of sailing the Herbert Woods Lady Yachts in the 70's and 80's, though I have to confess I went through the bridge by engine ;-)
Done This Bridge Many Time's, On A 40 ft Cruiser, The Mud Weight Is On The front Dead Cenrter You Line The Weight To A Centre Mark On The Entrance Of The Tunnel Line Up Give A bit More Speed And Steer Through.
been there many a time,"" fishing holidays**but once we hired a small boat** four people,, and it's not easy and I witnessed many a time that absolute idiots that haven't got a clue?? in charge of boats ,and added to that** allowing their young kids to take the wheel?? trouble is ,their money is as good as a competent skipper?? if your thinking of boating ** it's not like driving a car??

I Did Notice No Blackish Mark But I See The Top Centre Stone Mark.
Doesn't anyone quant anymore? I've shot Potterheigham Bridge dozens of times..by quanting...much faster than paddling
