I am disabled and am at home most of the time so I lie in bed and watch a lot of storage locker videos on various channels. I must say that this is the cleanest locker I have ever seen. It looks like it was just neatly packed and stored last week. You truly scored!🎯

Bing, bang, crash, toss! Good locker, Taco. Clean, packed well. Shows pride of ownership. Nice, unbroken, clean quality toys. Please don't be quite so rough with them because you are just hurting yourself. Picture every item worth currency made of glass. When you throw, toss, bang, break something...your currency is broken...and gone. PS check every pocket and compartment of luggage, purses, or clothing...esp. coats.

Sentimental stuff someone left behind ~ don’t underestimate the value of those kid stuff. You seem to undervalue a lot of the stuff you find to sell.
I helped load a BIG U Hall Truck up for a friend, and she had to leave a bunch of stuff behind at the house. There was so much NICE stuff her husband bought through out the years that she had to leave because she didn't have room for it. He passed away, and left her with expensive things I had no clue what most were. I grabbed a few nice things, and wanted more. I didn't have anything to drive at that time. I told her to go back, and have a garage sale. She never did, and the home owner had to deal with it! We did put things in a storage shed, but I don't know if she still rents it.
The washer is worth bunches! I just moved into a new apartment and had to pay over $1,000 for a set. My washer is the new kind like what you have -- no center agitator. Yay for you! 👍❤️🙏

True, I thought the same thing.
My guess is these kids are grown and the parents put it in a locker. When my kids left for college, they didn't want anything. We saved it all until they graduated, had them come look at their "stuff", take what they wanted, and we donated the rest.
My attic is full of our sons toys and the older one will be 43 in two days. The younger one turned 33 in August. Neither has kids and I am beginning to think they will stay in the attic till our sons hold an estate sale.
I thought sad, also. Maybe someone's ruined life. You never know what brought the end to payments on the locker.
That child is probably 20 something now and in University. I get the feeling someone was downsizing their home and wanted to get rid of stuff. This locker doesn't look like it came from someone who doesn't have a little bit of money to spare, and by the books in there, I'd say they have some kind of position in Healthcare.
I had a washer like the one shown. The original price was around $900. It was a huge headache - always unbalanced. It could take many tries to get through a cycle. The board was replaced twice. I sold it for $50 with full disclosure of the problems and was happy to be rid of it.
There's a kid somewhere who can say Taco Stacks stole my homework.

Makes one wonder the story behind this locker. Mother and son, studying to become a nurse, had to change their identity and go on the run. Prayers to them.
Boy, whoever's locker that was they sure packed it "scientifically"!! All the clothes were clean/folded, boxes packed neatly....overall, Taco, you SCORED on this locker!
If he considers his time, not to mention effort expended, to be valued at minimum wage you must account for the many , many hours devoted to this endeavor. He paid a GREAT deal more than "$10.00" for these heap of junk. Amazing how few persons employ simple reasoning when considering this insanity. Unless, you own and operate a thrift-store etc. or are working full-time at the online auction sites this is almost invariably a losing proposition. I walk down the alleys on occasion in my neighborhood and "find" stuff of far greater value than this and must pass on the "opportunity" once I have calculated what it would require to manage the whole affair transport, storage, the selling and on and on and on If you happen across some cold hard cash(a lot of it) or some gold bars then we're talking and still you must account for your time , energy, inconvenience etc which will eat into profits. There is a reason people leave this shit and it's not "homelessness" or some brand of desperation. It's the triumph of logic over sentiment.
@@tommyriam8320 You are thinking WAAAY too deeply here and clearly trying to appear superior. Taco seems to really enjoy what he does and isn't that want life is about? Enjoying your life while on Planet Earth? Who can say what brings others pleasure? He's sure not hurting anyone, what he does is legal. Taco's endeavors appear to have been a hobby which has turned into a job. I've always been a creative a person, I've turned my interest into a career. Taco has apparently taken an interest/hobby and is now making money at the same time. There's no reason to be so judgmental.
People don't usually store their items in lockers due to homelessness, in the US, it's usually due to having such small living spaces and not having enough room to have a lot of 'stuff'. If someone is about to become homeless, they sure don't have the extra cash to store anything.
Others store items which have sentimental value for them. You should actually be questioning why people feel the need to own so much crap, to basically hoard. There are people who have closets filled with still tagged clothing. Hoarders, in turn, pay ridiculous amounts of money to store their 'treasures' for years on end. They sure aren't enjoying items which are locked away! I know someone who owns a spacious three story condo, they live alone, yet this person continues to pay for two large storage lockers. Their survivors will sure have a lot of work when they pass away! Or they'll simply not even bother with the lockers.
I always feel bad when kids loose their toys and stuff.
I don't.. Now the mom has to buy all new toys. Plus most of the time kids get sick of the old toys

You are so lucky getting these units that are totally cleaned and have great stuff in them.
The storage owners must have their renters clean their units weekly.
Put the washer on marketplace, after you look up the value. That's where a lot of people go to buy appliances inexpensively. If you don't sell it there after a month, then sell to your friend.

Years ago, while renovating my place, I pre-paid for a few months of storage. By pre-paying, I got a reduced rate. When I retrieved my items, two months earlier than expected, I noticed, by pre-paying, along with the refund for the months I didn't need the space, I got interest on the pre-payment. That was a great surprise.

I'm always surprised about how low things can sell at flea markets in the US. Here in Canada a lot of people want top dollar for varying levels of quality goods. Even at yard sales, people ask big money for what are basically, junk items. In Canada we have Craigslist but also a similar site called Kijiji where people sell their stuff and some deals are to be had but there are people who demand new prices for used items, there too.

Many reasons these lockers are not paid for after months. Thankful Taco you can recycle & others will get some much pleasure from them. So many people today just throw things away due to changes in their lives.

The Chevy truck can be sold to a rc person who likes it to look scale. At least a 50 dollar bill the ds where I live either go 50 to 30 all the Spider-Man and others can make at least 2 bucks. I’m in Pittsburgh
Those chairs look really nice! The purse actually cracked me up. Aside from the hammer, the rest of the stuff looks like what one would find in a purse of mine... dinosaurs, Nintendo hand-helds, odd bits of jewelry, vitamins that I think I'll take if they are in my purse, etc.
Your return will be huge with this locker is done right. The washer alone, and I'd look up the retail value of it, could be pretty high. It might be nicer then what you currently have in your own home. LOL.
These lockers always have a story to tell. By the looks of it a single mom lost her house and maybe rented an apartment, then fell on even harder times and couldn't make the storage payments. If you find another locker like this with identifying information please post a video asking if you should attempt to contact the person. Between views and viewers willing to donate to you for returning the items you could earn as much as you would have by selling the contents. Just a thought Taco! This locker breaks my heart. Kids lost all his toys and books. I get the storage company gives them time to get their stuff. I just feel sad for the kid(s).
Way back in 1976 I looked into a dumpster, found a pair of shirts that had a dollar in the pocket. I was hooked lol

The panda bear that was in a backpack with hoses attached looked to be a nebulizer to help a child with breathing problems , that would explain all the toys and games.

Reading these comments made me sad. It must have been hard for the parents. OR maybe he got better and just didn't need to be reminded of a difficult past illness. Either way, it's sad for a child to loose their things....Glad it was TS that got them tho.

It’s very possible that the child not only outgrew his clothes but toys as well. I too saved some of my kids toys and now the grandchildren play with them.

That top loading washer is virtually new -they just came out 3 or 4 years ago. They are over $1,000 new at Lowes last I looked. They light up and everything. I know if I found that for $10 it would stay with me until I die.
Would you consider taking a small penknife with you to open the taped boxes more easily? Love my Swiss army knife, even has screw drivers. 😊
That’s the reason I never got into storage lockers. I worked for an individual for a while that sold sports memorabilia and after his stock started drying up he got into storage locker auctions. It actually made me very sad that a child would be separated from their toys because of a situation that was beyond their control. Oh we’ll enough Debbie Downer good luck in flipping your haul.
