Please take the time to go through all the clothes. People often keep money, jewelry, etc. in dressers and chests. Tucked between items, rolled up in socks. All it takes is one good find to make you a believer. Friend of mine many years ago bought a simple chest of some kind at a farm sale. The bottom draw was stuck badly. No one could open it, but he was curious because he thought something might be in it. He was right...800 cash.
Should give to homeless and woman's shelters. Clothes, blankets and toys are needed terribly. Thrift stores do not give any money to charity. They are full profit.
YOU are 100% RIGHT!!! and GOODWILL is Corporate the CEO makes Million💲+ those stores were originally designed to Help the Poor & less Fortunate buy Household items or Clothes & Toy's Etc.......know the RESELLER'S come in and Buy the item's and mark them up 100% or more So PLEASE donate directly to SHELTERS the Greed is out of control!!!

Since 1960 I totally agree. Give the clothes, depends and toys to homeless or women’s shelter.
It bears repeating: Prescription eyeglasses can be given to the Lions Club. They’ll send them to people in need who can’t afford them.
Great locker.. Suggestion tho on the kids clothes yea good to donate. But u can always put a sheet down at the side of ur van when doing flee markets and charge 5 items for a doller or fill a bag for 5 dollers. They will sell well. As a mother myself kids clothes gets expensive as they grow so quick. Just a thought ♥️

Wow great locker but sell the jeans people buy jeans always . & Betty Boop was in one of the stuffies bsgs & she is very collectable as are some text books. Mom taught us to use the milk crates on our tables for more stuff & we put a old record cover on the bottom so the stuff sits flat it does add on space on your tables. Hi Salsa
Could you donate it back to the owner (the stuff in the locker?) Don’t know if the storage facility takes back and gives back to original owner...bet they would love to have it back....Maybe fell on hard times...
And you have to wonder since its all kid related items, if they had a son that passed away. When he said youth depends, maybe he was sick...?
If they wanted it back they could have paid their storage fees.
Chad Raush yes they could have paid if they wanted the items. But if hard times hit sometimes making a choice between food and paying a storage locker is a no brainer.

Was thinking same thing. A child that has a disability or illness and passed away. Someone packed everything up for the family and put it in storage. Family didn’t want it.

Great haul Taco. Check the kids books or have Paper & Moose check. If any vintage Little Golden Books could be valuable, & popular with junk journalers.
Don’t be so quick to donate everything. At least try to sell it at your flea market to get something out of it. Just bring an assortment of other items also. Or you could also offer a bulk price if someone takes all of it of Facebook marketplace. There’s always a mom looking for her kid’s size clothes.

Do you have a womans shelter(domestic violence shelter) maybe you could donate the kids stuff there. A lot leave with or have nothing so they appreciate anything.

What a clean, tidy unit! Even the games & electronics were protected & clean ... that stuff is usually GROSS! It made me a little sad though ... ONLY kid's stuff pretty much. It made me feel like somebody lost custody of a kid & the kid couldn't take everything or a kid passed away. I hope neither is the case.
You may also want to look if the controllers are limited editions as sometimes those can hold surprising value.
The sad part is, the parents were not paying to store the child's items...for whatever reason. Its not the fault of the person who buys the unit. Taco is in this business to earn a living and he really cant get too emotionally involved.

You can bundle the clothes, esp kids clothes and sell on Marketplace or Craigslist $5 or $10 / bag (men's dress shirts size large). And yes to blankets etc to shelter or rescues they always need them! Salsa's vet might even take them. Good locker.

I would put my daughters stuffed animals in a pillowcase, loosely knot it and wash and dry them. Even if they said surface clean only.
Do you have any consignment stores? That’s a good way to easily make a little on the better clothes you find. The rest you could always donate. Nice locker, nice clean one!

You will make some money on this locker!!! The D.C. Heath & Comp School Reader: A Home for Sandy has a Buff Cocker Spaniel in the story. It's an Early Learning to Read Book. Think it's from around the 1940s. It doesn't sell for much on eBay, but it always sold at the flea market.
I've got to go to that flea market if the prices are that low.
And I still go home with a full truck ya know

Mickey looks like a dress me Mickey, which will be more more not a regular one, the children's depends are very expensive, you should sell them they could be anywhere from 50 to $75 or more,you said that their were Wii games if you have different games there might be another game console and controller in those boxes in with the clothing wrapped up, other than Xbox all those games and a controller for $50 you selling it way to cheap

Taco couple things for future even though this was last yr. Coloring books are good even if pages are have been colored the ones that are empty can be printed off used by home schoolers and nursing homes. They LOVE coloring at nursing homes will take donations.
Also ppl. love kids books they sell, try them I know we buy a ton.
Kids shoes are bought by ladies, boys sizes every lady knows her size in boys shoe size. I wear a 5. They are sometimes much cooler, fit way better then adult sizes for many. Same goes for boys jackets.(sweater shirts) Thanks for sharing.

You can put those stuff toys in the freezer for 24 hrs and it will kill everything.when you have something you can’t wash just put it in the freezer. Louise Tridle

Look thru those clothes before donating!! My grandmother put $10,000 in a clothes hamper in her closet. After she passed we went thru and cleaned out her house.. we found out later on that she stashed large amounts of money all over her house in places like that 😒

Whenever I find children's books I give them to my Pastor's wife and she distributes where they are needed, whether to the public free children's library or to whichever children's group needs them the most.
Men handle stuff so terrible. Rough.
