“IBC’ing how much weight I can carry”. Good one! Your son did a great job with the music. Nice camera angle, and thanks for the shout out! 😄
Thanks Ed! My son Angelo is going to be making some more music for the channel and I was tempted to use the Ed cam angle but chickened out. I know it look like I was joking around but I don’t know how to get Siri to talk to me? I am lucky my wife knows everything I should ask her how Siri works but I don’t want her to think I’m cheating🙃have a good weekend😁👍
@@MJADoingStuff - if you’ve not used Siri yet, you have to set it up in settings so it recognizes your voice. Then you access it by saying “hey Siri”. I use it all the time. “Set a timer... remind me to... math equations (as you’ve seen) 😄
@@MyClutteredGarageSweet! Thanks Ed that saved me from asking Jamie I think 🤔 she gets tired of me asking questions all the time😁👍
Great video, Mitch. I liked your sons music and your wife’s snappy answer! That was surprising how easily you could lift the tractor front end off the ground. Front ballast for sure!! Cheers!
You were right I really can’t lift up that much and I’m gonna need a bigger tractor if I want too but I think watering the trees went well I only had to fill it up three times have a good weekend Mike😁👍 thanks for letting me know my son’s music was good🙃
Your IBCin' joke hurt my brain at 5 in the morning! Great idea for getting water to the trees. Good job on the tunes.
Thanks my son Angelo is going to be making more music for the channel. I know it was a corny joke but I’m trying to let loose a little🤣 have a good weekend
Nice! That's a really cool idea have the forks on the back, and good use of the IBC tote :). Thank you.
Thanks just transplanted some trees today and used that setup again to water them. Comes in pretty handy. Thanks for checking out the video ☀️😁👍
Hurt my back over a week ago and I’m looking at my tractor but the back still hurts but you made my day Mitch 🙋🏼♂️inside joke 😂😉, great idea using the IBC for watering the trees 👍🏻 and your son did a great job with the music 👌🏻. Have a great weekend 👍🏻
Sorry to hear that Hope your back starts feeling better soon thanks for letting me know my son‘s music is good you have a good weekend too🙋🏻♂️😁👍
had to laugh about the parking brake because I do it all the time too. I put a label next to my rpm gauge that says " check brake".
Love that idea cause I keep doing it thanks for checking out the video have a great weekend 😁👍☀️
Wife: more junk you brought home that takes up space in the back yard! You: Okay, thanks. 😂 IBCin’ you lift that tractor like Superman! Great job on the music by your son.
If she only knew how much stuff I pass up 🤣thanks for letting me know my Sons music was good I was trying to let loose a little more the jokes are corny but I had to get it out of my head have a good weekend IBCin you on the next one 😁👍
Great video mitch nice to see the pallet forks working! Need some form of front weight, time to start modding ;)
The ideas are starting again make it stop🤣Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍
Well that is pretty handy! Nice work!
Thanks 👍and thank you for checking out the video 😁
You have to get yourself a hydraulic top link buddy, it will make that fork attachment much more useful. Nice example of using a tractor for other than dirt work. Take Care, Jason
Looking at getting summits rear remote kit for the next winter project I like that hydraulic top link you got saving up for it thanks for watching the video Jason
Music was great. The definition for IBC...right on! Ken- b2601
Thank you nice to get some feedback my son will be making more music for the channel Thanks for checking out the video have a good weekend😁👍
Baffle balls in the tank work very well to control the effects of water movement but probably short lengths of thin wall ABS or PVC-if you have some laying around-with big holes drilled in them would be adequate too.👍🏽
Thanks I’ll have to look into that and thanks for checking out the video have a good one😁👍🚜💨🍳
Just found Ur channel U got my sub good content and music I was wondering about this exact thing but to move Ibc totes with wood in them looks like front forks would have more natural ballast of the tractor even if it's less capable capacity wise.plus I already have rear ballast only a 4 in 1 bucket for the front so far
Thank you for your sub👍 I do seem to put it on the front more than the rear so I don’t have to look backwards. How do you like the 4 in 1 bucket? I have another IBC tote with another idea 💡 coming just got to find time😁 have a great day! 🍻
@@MJADoingStuff I have previous skid steer experience so the 4 in 1 is great for me but some people that have used it find it a bit frustrating to learn especially if the tractor struggles with multiple functions at the same time Also they compare it to a grapple which if unfair cause it's a muilt tool that will work as a grapple but has limitations but used properly still very effective perfect for the average user but I'd get the specific implements for commercial use
@@rickyhorsburgh6581 Thanks for the information I am going to look into it now that it’s on my radar 😁👍
A bit much for a BX, keep watering! Hot and dry here in Northern Virginia 🥵👍🏼🇱🇷
Ha! Ha! Ha! 🤣👍 I drained some. Originally I put the water hose in and walked away when I came back the front end was off the ground. At least it did not break anything thanks for checking out the video ☀️😁👍
IBCin 🤣😂 subscribed!
Thanks for checking out the video and subscribing. I have been working on other IBC Tote ideas 💡 just have to finish them. I wish these things didn’t stick out like a sore thumb around the house. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨💡
Did you mention which forks you are using? I’m looking for a set to do the same thing.
@@MidwestWoodsandWater Tar River is the brand and they are 36”inch forks. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Do you have rear tires loaded on your tractor? I am ordering a LX2610 and was glad to see your R14’s seem to do well on your lawn, wonder if the added weight of ballast in rears would cause any more damage...
My rear tire are not loaded seems to work good on sod but not on seeded lawn parts thanks for checking out the video 😁👍
That 2500 suburban is gorgeous
Thanks I enjoy using it😁 wish it was a 8.1 but the 6.0 is plenty for me. And very reliable. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Add an extension pipe to the outlet. Also, figure out a way to turn the valve on and off so that you don't waste water. Maybe a linear actuator?
Sounds like some good content for a future video thanks for the ideas 💡💡 and thanks for leaving a comment☀️😁👍
That "piddling" camera shot would have been perfect if you had a JD 2025 next to you.
You got a good point 😂I wonder how much a JD 2025r can lift? Have a good one 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Mind if I ask how many acres? Trying to decide if the B is overkill for my property.
I have 2 acres I mow at the house with the 60 inch mid mount mower. Takes me almost 3 hours. If I had a better seat I could do it in 2 hours. But I also use it at our other property and it is 40 acres and we use it for dirt work, making trails and moving stuff so it does it all just wish it could lift more but I think the size is good.
The "more junk" comment sounds like something i have heard before a few times. LOL
If she only knew how much stuff I pass up thanks for watching the video😁👍
I think you need another pallet fork for the front with another IBC Tote. But could you put enough in it to counter the back and still lift it? Could wind up with too much total weight on the tractor, but you could get a lot of watering done in fewer trips!
I think you got a great point. I will try that. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I have a B2601 as well and I was considering an IBC tote on 3 point forks for watering my trees but my land is hilly and your front end definitely looked light with 100 gallons, would make me nervous on my hills. Have you tried pallet forks on the FEL? Are you able to carry any more weight that way?
In my opinion if I had a bucket of dirt for front ballast it would have been better. On the FEL I feel it sticks out to far and going down a hill would be sketchy. But you never know until you try it. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I think a lot of the music added to videos is horrible and detracts from what you're trying to watch. I like to hear the machines and stuff run. However, you didn't blow us out with sound and it was actually tastefully done. Music this round = thumbs up. :-) BTW can you hook up either a small extension pipe or even a hose fitting and hose (operate the hose from your seat!) to the IBC so you are not driving right on top of the trees? It's so easy to hurt the plant when that close with one small wrong turn. Not sure if compacting the growing roots is doing them any benefit either. Do you have forks and a bucket at your place? Adding both of those up front could add several hundred pounds in ballast in front (mount the forks and carry the bucket). That would be about another 400#s for my tractor.
Thanks for checking out the video and giving me some idea of how to make things better. That day was really wind so did not have good tractor sounds. Good idea on putting a extension so that I don’t hurt the trees I respect your opinion and will try out your advice have a great week ☀️😁👍
you need a pole barn to clean up the back yard :)
You got that right 👍I just got to figure out how to make it seem like her idea 🤣🤔 thanks for watching the video😁
Tilt your forks up an it will put more weight on the tractor and you can carry a little more
Thanks Great tip👍 I will try that for sure! Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment.😁👍🚜💨💡
Put suitcase weights on the front and then in the the rear tires add rim guard. I liked the video for ya, but I have way too many channels to keep track of already. Sorry.
Great advice thanks for stopping by and hitting the like button😁👍have a great week!!!🚜💨🍳
