The Midwest's "Mom & Pops" hills need as much support as possible the months ahead with Christmas break not only being so warm, but super short even to be partially open!

This has been the worst winter for skier/snowboarders here in Michigan. I’ve lived here for my entire 43 years.

There is a sudden stratosperic warming event that will bring very cold temps in the second half of January. The great lakes are primed so we should have a good lake effect cycle but not until after MLK weekend. But we'll definitely have cold enough temps to make snow all the way down in Ohio before then. Another great video! Thanks!

Honestly Pine Knob has been nothing short of impressive with their snowmaking, they only just closed today. I've been about a dozen times at least this season and it's been great!

How does the powder bouy affect the Midwest? I'm from Michigan but I live in Utah now. Alta and Brighton have spoiled me.

Nothing in Michigan can hang with Utah.

There really is nothing like powder at Alta or skiing through the trees of Brighton.
