Tyson dis not have stamina - he was not used to fighting at a high tempo over 12 rounds. His style also changed when he ditched Kevin Rooney.His disciplined went. Tyson's air of invinciblity had been shattered and would never be the same again. Fighters were no longer afraid.

Long matches beyond round2 are never a part of Tyson's plan. In his plan, he could concentrate all his power just for the round1. It worked most of the time. When the match goes round3 or more, he would lose the confident if he could knock out the opponent, so he couldn't throw a decisive punch in fear of exhaustion. You cold see a similarity in George foreman against Mohamed Ali.
Are you crazy...Tyson had one of the best chins in Boxing. He was an undersized heavy weight (5-10) fighting guys that were way bigger than him. Did you see how many clean right hands Douglas hit him with. Go watch Tyson vs Lewis,Tyson took tremendous uppercuts and right hands from Lewis for 8 rounds...Lewis even admitted after the fight that he was impressed that it took him so long to KO Tyson, saying most fighters would have been stopped earlier by the punches he was hitting him with.

Correct. Tyson's chin is underrated and he never had a problem with one punch power, the Ruddock fights are proof of that. Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis demonstrated that it takes a steady methodical pounding over several rounds to beat Mike Tyson.

If you cant see the diffrence between mike tyson before and after prison , you need to take another look. douglas fight had 2 things going for douglas. he just lost his mother and fought the fight of his life . tyson was going to prison and didnt have the usual flare. dont get me wrong , douglas did one amazing job. but pls dont bring in holyfield and ...lewis. lewis was a payday for tyson. thats it. he even wanted a rematch for another payday. tyson pre 1990 is the tyson so many love.

Tyson is not one of the greatest boxers ever. Tyson lost not because he didn't train, but because Douglas used his reach advantage.
