Ah. Yes, the screaming Voith....we’ve got some in some OLD Gillig lowfloors behind an ISL Cummins. Do those have the feature where they automatically shift to neutral at stop lights?? Ours do and it makes hill starts, well, interesting at times....
@@eugew23 I’m not sure if the Voith 864.5 is compatible with the Cummins L9 engine because according to Wikipedia, it states that the Cummins L9 (and possibly the B6.7) is compatible with a Voith transmission
Bro the Thomas hdx that I ride has the same engine and sounds crisp maybe can you do like a camera or a mic closer the the engine for a more clean noise?
Love it ! Just got my CDL and Im already training on some Gilligs .

Yup, all of our low floor have screaming Voiths... And these have the auto-neutral at stops as well.. I can't stand that feature
Now see my hdx sounds like it’s screaming in pain when it accelerates XD even sounds like it has a turbo

I'd love to. I'm working on getting a mic for better audio!
:0 thanks I needed the audio because I’m making a bus model in a game and need the engine noises for it
2 things:
1. Are you driving with the retarder off?
2. Where are the white lights coming from when you signal left/right?
Thanks for commenting. I am not driving with the retarder off, and I think the white light is a weird camera refresh thing.
Correction, yes, I am driving with the retarder off. That what the constant red indicator was.
What are those indicators above the windscreen for ?
Gillig uses these overhead indicators for everything from turn signals to Stop-Engine lights.
Pittsburgh Regional Transit got them, plus the steering wheel HUD one. @@eugew23
