- John reads Wilbert Soeten's tribute to Rick Parfitt - very emotional, not a dry eye in the house. But then we rock with Junior's Wailing (sorry about the audio on JW, bit too much for the iPhone!)

So beautiful what John did, that poem says it all. Rick's always in our hearts. He was the best
Spud; Thank You for doing what Rossi has totally failed to do; acknowledge and pay tribute to a most wonderful Human Being...Rick Parfitt.
John, you know this already, but true Quo Fan's Love and respect you and none of us feel you deserved the treatment you got in 1982.
You had tons of Power, Strength and Drive which HUGELY made that Status Quo sound in the early days and much as I admire the brilliance of Jeff Rich (who we should all thank for keeping the 'Quo Machine' going), there was just 'something'' John added, especially when playing 'Live'.
John, Rick, Nuff; you are all so loved and Thank You, all 3 of you for your amazing contribution to the Britsh Rock Scene. Well done xxxx

I´ve just read the book John Coghlan´s Quo...From this day on John is my favourite Frantic guy forever. Of course I´ll always be in love with Mr Parfit too and with that golden era of the Status Quo. I have all their records in a row in my Mp3 player...I ´ve run through all of them quite a few times and you can tell for sure where the transition happens. Those records made by the four of them are a completely different story from the following ones. Obviously Mr Parfitt turned into to gold any rythm part he got under his fingers...but...oh man those old boogies...
its nearly four months since rick died and i still cant believe hes gone as i still miss him terribley i hope u guys will continue to play in his memory
