The price has dipped but im watching the market with interest. Its a supadope collection piece is what it is.

Yeah, I had the storm blue 1’s back in the 80’s as a skate shoe and actually remember that the shoe ran slightly bigger than my actual size but the leather was indeed much thicker as I beat these down heavy and no holes. I agree, I think I prefer the retro og style silhouette versus this pair. Looks way better on feet!
I hit on these on SNKRS. I was actually trying to get the strangelove dunks at the same time but managed to hit on these. They are pretty stiff but after walking around the house with them on, the leather broke in pretty well.

in a year when you see the "glitter" effect on the leather (it's a feature, lol) you'll know the "quality" of the leather. I can vouch that mid 80s era Nike sneakers had actual leather- look how they scuff and get worn. This plastic concoction does not wear like leather, no scuffs, because it's mostly plastic.
My question is why it took Jordan brand _so long_ to kinda cover up and reveal the real history. They’re good, but I like the modern swooshes 10x better.
Even if I had $50M in the bank, I wouldn't pay a single penny over $250 for a pair of otherwise ordinary high top leather sneakers. F*** StockX and GOAT. I will just take my L's gracefully now, knowing that "the sneaker game" is an endless material endeavor, with no worthwhile fruit to bear.

Jumpman Bostic says the the leather is close but I respectfully disagree. The leather back in ‘85 was a better quality leather than this. This one is synthetic, you can tell. These things aren’t going to breakdown, you’ll need to wear them a year non stop and we will see.
Fire, but I hate that people are calling these Reverse breds. These aren't a true reverse bred. Same goes for the "Reverse" He Got Game which should be called the Oreo 13s
The Reverse Breds use full Grain leather, which is the best quality leather, thats why it's thick and stiff. It will need to be broken in.
