( I ran out and it was a quick fix because I had to go out lol ) eye shadow is crap though haha I think you would have fun and it gives you a new brand to react to. Maybe haha
I never thought I'd see the day you review L.A. Colors. Robert, this actually means a lot to me because I grew up very, very poor and L.A. Colors is where my make up journey began. A lot of people simply don't have the money to spend on make up to feel nice about themselves and the way that they look, and these brands are all they can get. So seeing someone like you using them helps normalize using them and feeling acceptable wearing it, so thank you thank you, thank you 💜💜💜
It was so refreshing to watch a MUA/influencer on RUclips do a video about extremely affordable make-up without gagging, acting like it's all trash before even trying it, and acting ridiculous at the sheer thought of using cheap makeup. It was so good to see an genuine review, where you are honest about what's good and what's not, because a lot of people can't afford more expensive make-up and use these cheaper brands. I love your videos anyway, but I love them a bit more today
I love Shop Miss A! Their AOA brand is really nice, and it's great to try out new makeup and styles on a budget. My favorite brands on their site are AOA, Malibu Glitz, and Santee.
Shop Miss A has some amazing products especially their sponges and brushes. AOA studio line is definitely the best brand on there !! They have some nice magnetic palettes, single eyeshadows and some nice glosses.
I definitely agree with your comments I love my brushes and I use a lot of the products. I love the apple lip scrub I apply first so when I do my lips my lips are super small and lipstick looks smooth
Me too. Mine is on the tail of my eyebrow though so no matter how I shape or trim my eyebrows the left one is always different because of the scar and how the hair does and does not grow.
Me too on my right eye brow but it’s no too noticeable but I tweeze my eyebrows Robert should make a video on how he got his scar so we can all comment on how we got ours .

Yes, AOA & L.A. Colors is my jam! I like the L.A. Colors lip glosses, just the regular glosses, they smell a little like vanilla and something else. But I can't STAND Rose smell in anything!! Yuck! So glad you tried this website @Robert Welsh!! 💛🌻😁

i personally love the foundations that come in the glass thing with the dropper. the foundation leaves my skin feeling hydrated. i know personally, some items didnt work for my combination skin but i can say that there is something for everyone
@@genesismejia7608 the foundation is actually good in terms of coverage and finish, I just couldn't deal with the smell. I don't have particularly sensitive skin but I could just feel the break out coming from the fragrance.
@@1Skorpia I like LA colors for their lipglosses. The ones with the brush tip are so nice and I absolutely love them. Haven’t ride anything else from them. Amuse doesn’t have great shade ranges for dark skin so I never really look at their products in general.
The brushes are so good and so cheap it's really insane how they made my looks go from 0 to 10 honestly xD I also really like their black liner artista from aoa studio, the tip is not your typical sponge like tip but like a brush with bristles (It's super thin and it bends the right amount) ! It lasts forever (I have had it for like 5 months) and still not dry and going, (even tho I don't use it everyday) and it stays through everything on the eye really, when I try it on the back of my hands I have it for days before it goes off ! It has a slitghtly mat finish and cracs a little if you pull on your eyes but other than that it's perfect !
I love how Robert keeps saying how the shadows are giving him trouble and the end result is still gorgeous, Robert is a true make up artist, makes everything work.

A few years back I heard a rumor that they make their sponges in the same factory that the beauty blender is made. So possibly some similar ingredients material and machinery is behind them? Idk it could be totally untrue. Also, everything on their site is also cruelty free which is a must for me! Great for people just starting or on lower income who still want to have fun with makeup. It's also good for trying out trendy items that are similar to other popular brands if money is tight
I'm a huge brush addict. If I love a brush I buy 5. Aoa is my fav. Wet and wilds too buy em at the dollar store and not walmart/Walgreens. They jack up the prices there.
I started collecting liquid lipsticks with AOA and some of these are really good. The paw paw eye brush set is my favourite I have 3 of them and they are so good !!
Their AOA foundation isn’t that bad imo but it’s scary to think about purchasing cause cheap products are usually trash but so I far I had a great experience

Robert, I love watching your videos. I started out as a young stay at home mother to 3 children under the age of 4 and having to save a few dollars each week out of our grocery money to buy cosmetics. I started out with super inexpensive drugstore makeup like this. I always managed to look put together and cute despite not having the best quality makeup. I made do with what I could afford. Flash forward 20 years later, I am able to afford high end makeup and skincare but still use a mixture of high end, as well as discount/drugstore products because some of them are awesome. Thank you for showing makeup and skincare options for people of all income levels. You can look fabulous no matter what your income level as long as you learn the techniques and tricks for makeup application. I was lucky to have a beautiful mother and grandmother who mentored me when I was young because we didn’t have the internet or RUclips in the 80’s. I love learning new techniques even at the age of 53. Thank you for being a great teacher for the younger generation

I love Miss A so much! I've been shopping with them for like two years now and while a few products are hit and miss, I've been overall so happy and for someone who is learning makeup on a budget they've been a life saver.
I can. I bought a whole pack of fairly long double sided ones from Amazon. I use them a ton for shimmer shadows, creamy shadows (think colourpop supershock type), and metallics, etc. I have super hooded eyes and need small brushes. The sponges are perfect for fitting in my inner corner/ inner third of my lid and work really well with ND sparkly shadows. Yes I use them with my $100+ palette. lol
My go to AOA studio products: the pressed highlighter, pressed blush, the cream highlighter and the hybrid powder/cream highlighter, the cream blush, wonder matte liquid lipsticks, satin lipsticks, the prowear foundation, the liquid foundation is good too, I love the concealers, the mascaras, the 3D lashes, I mean...a lot. A lot. I love a lot.
I’ve never heard of the company but I love how your eyes came out and the foundation looks good on camera. I hate sticky, smelly lip glosses or lip stick. I received my Haus lip gloss yesterday and both of them were so sticky I had to take them off right away. Wayne Goss has wonderful lip glosses. That’s the texture I like. Great video 💓
Robert we understand! No need to apologize for not making videos, we know you do your best. Shopmissa has some good products and some great brushes to practice with. I still use some of their products to this day.
I suggest using just the AOA brand studios. The baked blushes are on par with Milani baked blushes, they are stunning plus the velour creme shadows and the diamond lipgloss. Also the concealer is bulletproof.
You’re so fun to watch. If you do this again, I would try all AOA Studio products with four stars or more. The cream blush, highlighter brush, argan oil or cocoa butter lip oil glosses, watermelon lip scrub and lip scrubber tool, baked blushes, and translucent pressed powder and highlighters are some of my faves. They are so great for the price.

I'm so excited to see this! Their AoA brand is best, since it's actually the website's own brand. So far, I really liked the concealer, blending sponges, and pressed powder. Seriously, their powder works the same or better than drugstore brands I've used and it's way cheaper. I got their microfiber blending sponge and love it. LA Colors is really cheap in terms of value, not worth it unless you're very desperate.
I think they have some really great stuff. Brushes for sure. Soooo good. And the sponges. AOA is the way to go for make up. I’ve been using their brow pencil end it’s great for $1. I use it often. They also have a new lip mask. The strawberry one is good. They honey one tastes weird. Also the new AOA lip balm in a tube is good. The dropper foundation is nice too actually.
The AOA satin foundation is amazing and I love that concealer. Yes, their sponges are so good. Their velour one is my favorite. Great lashes too. I think the AOA brand is a bit more consistent and better quality.
Hopefully you can try the AOA foundations, I like the one in the dropper, it's really lightweight and hydrating! The other pinky one is thicker and fuller coverage.
I hope someday you do a full face with aoa studio only (which is the home brand of miss a, which I heard is overall better) because I've been eyeing their shadow sticks and cream products but since I'm international I don't really want to waste my money

I absolutely adore Miss A! Ordered from them 4 times, I’ve always been happy with what I got (I stick mostly to AOA or the paw paw charity range). I’ve got two of their brush sets and they are amazing for the price! I was dubious about the prices but the brand have said they don’t spend any money on advertising (which is why it’s so unheard of) and that’s how they afford to sell them at that price

I'm honestly shocked about how decent the eyes look. Like I used L.A. Colors as a young teen when I was first doing makeup. That concealer and brush set is something I'll have to try myself!!!

Shop Miss A is literally a makeup-only dollar store. They even have physical locations. Not very many, but still. It's super hit 9r miss, as is to be expected, but there are so many products available that overall there are a lot of hits. The sponges in particular are kind of their hero product.

I’ve been thrilled with 95% of the makeup I’ve gotten from Shop Miss A. AOA is their house line and it’s great!

I'm a huge brush addict. If I love a brush I buy 5. Aoa is my fav. Wet and wilds too buy em at the dollar store and not walmart/Walgreens. They jack up the prices there.

Their AOA foundation isn’t that bad imo but it’s scary to think about purchasing cause cheap products are usually trash but so I far I had a great experience
I like the satin foundation and my sister loves the bb cream
I usually feel the same way, but there's something about their statement and how they explain their prices that makes me trust them.
I love AOA line. The bb cream is a holy grail. Their brushes are amazing too, their highlight and blush brushes are my all time favorite

Also Robert if you do this again you should try just using either AOA Studio or a2o labs because those are shop miss A's house brands and they tend to be the best. I shop this website a lot
Robert, I love watching your videos. I started out as a young stay at home mother to 3 children under the age of 4 and having to save a few dollars each week out of our grocery money to buy cosmetics. I started out with super inexpensive drugstore makeup like this. I always managed to look put together and cute despite not having the best quality makeup. I made do with what I could afford. Flash forward 20 years later, I am able to afford high end makeup and skincare but still use a mixture of high end, as well as discount/drugstore products because some of them are awesome. Thank you for showing makeup and skincare options for people of all income levels. You can look fabulous no matter what your income level as long as you learn the techniques and tricks for makeup application. I was lucky to have a beautiful mother and grandmother who mentored me when I was young because we didn’t have the internet or RUclips in the 80’s. I love learning new techniques even at the age of 53. Thank you for being a great teacher for the younger generation

I can. I bought a whole pack of fairly long double sided ones from Amazon. I use them a ton for shimmer shadows, creamy shadows (think colourpop supershock type), and metallics, etc. I have super hooded eyes and need small brushes. The sponges are perfect for fitting in my inner corner/ inner third of my lid and work really well with ND sparkly shadows. Yes I use them with my $100+ palette. lol

My go to AOA studio products: the pressed highlighter, pressed blush, the cream highlighter and the hybrid powder/cream highlighter, the cream blush, wonder matte liquid lipsticks, satin lipsticks, the prowear foundation, the liquid foundation is good too, I love the concealers, the mascaras, the 3D lashes, I mean...a lot. A lot. I love a lot.

I’ve never heard of the company but I love how your eyes came out and the foundation looks good on camera. I hate sticky, smelly lip glosses or lip stick. I received my Haus lip gloss yesterday and both of them were so sticky I had to take them off right away. Wayne Goss has wonderful lip glosses. That’s the texture I like. Great video 💓
Robert we understand! No need to apologize for not making videos, we know you do your best. Shopmissa has some good products and some great brushes to practice with. I still use some of their products to this day.
I suggest using just the AOA brand studios. The baked blushes are on par with Milani baked blushes, they are stunning plus the velour creme shadows and the diamond lipgloss. Also the concealer is bulletproof.

The cream blush, highlighter brush, argan oil or cocoa butter lip oil glosses, watermelon lip scrub and lip scrubber tool, baked blushes, and translucent pressed powder and highlighters are some of my faves. They are so great for the price.

I'm so excited to see this! Their AoA brand is best, since it's actually the website's own brand. So far, I really liked the concealer, blending sponges, and pressed powder. Seriously, their powder works the same or better than drugstore brands I've used and it's way cheaper. I got their microfiber blending sponge and love it. LA Colors is really cheap in terms of value, not worth it unless you're very desperate.

I think they have some really great stuff. Brushes for sure. Soooo good. And the sponges. AOA is the way to go for make up. I’ve been using their brow pencil end it’s great for $1. I use it often. They also have a new lip mask. The strawberry one is good. They honey one tastes weird. Also the new AOA lip balm in a tube is good. The dropper foundation is nice too actually.
The AOA satin foundation is amazing and I love that concealer. Yes, their sponges are so good. Their velour one is my favorite. Great lashes too. I think the AOA brand is a bit more consistent and better quality.
Hopefully you can try the AOA foundations, I like the one in the dropper, it's really lightweight and hydrating! The other pinky one is thicker and fuller coverage.
I hope someday you do a full face with aoa studio only (which is the home brand of miss a, which I heard is overall better) because I've been eyeing their shadow sticks and cream products but since I'm international I don't really want to waste my money

I absolutely adore Miss A! Ordered from them 4 times, I’ve always been happy with what I got (I stick mostly to AOA or the paw paw charity range). I’ve got two of their brush sets and they are amazing for the price! I was dubious about the prices but the brand have said they don’t spend any money on advertising (which is why it’s so unheard of) and that’s how they afford to sell them at that price
People do not realise how much they pay for marketing and brand name.

I'm honestly shocked about how decent the eyes look. Like I used L.A. Colors as a young teen when I was first doing makeup. That concealer and brush set is something I'll have to try myself!!!

Shop Miss A is literally a makeup-only dollar store. They even have physical locations. Not very many, but still. It's super hit 9r miss, as is to be expected, but there are so many products available that overall there are a lot of hits. The sponges in particular are kind of their hero product.
The AOA sponges and their buttercream gel liners are excellent
Ngl, their eyelashes are pretty good from my experience!
