Using any kind of pliers on fasteners should be a last resort. Knipex or not, they're mostly good for ruining the fastener.

Knipex DOES make a mini adjustable pliers wrench (smooth jaw)... The one in this vid is a nut rounder 😂 as is any tool with teeth...

Agreed, but if you were to only carry me around with you I think the cobras are still better because they are more versatile in a pinch.

Genuinely amazing pliers. Super tiny form factor + fine adjustments for perfect grip + ridiculously strong steel.
    Punches waaaaaay above its weight.
It's a bit of an investment, but I guarantee you... that Cobra XS is worth it.

Use a damn hex socket or appropriate spanner, using a plumbers wrench to remove nuts and bolts is shoddy work

    • @jimmypennell8831

Never take your car to any mechanic then. I can tell you from personal experience that the “Right Tool” is very subjective when you have awkward clearances. The “Right tool” is the one that works.

Cobras are great, I have a mini set too. I also have a leatherman Surge and just like I couldnt/wouldn't expect my cobra to act like a survival tool I wouldn't expect my surge pliers to act as well as the cobra at undoing bolts💁🏼‍♂️. Still, Cobras good in the tool box, surge on the belt👍🏻
