To be honest I think this sequence will work better as an opening to V10 than it would have as an end to V9

when qrow says "its all a matter of perspective" and catches the guy who tripped it looks almost EXACTLY like when clover caught him im gonna cry
"My biggest regret is that none of you are here to see the good, that you started. Because you did start something." If we ignore the "none of you" part it could be about Monty too. He did start something amazing!.
So, are we gonna talk about how Jaune has now been alive for over 50 years? Because Alice de-aged him back to his old self when they left, but he still remembers EVERYTHING he went through in Wonderland.
Oh, I actually love that Raven was the one to find them. Her portal to Yang would've suddenly started working again, after however long they were missing, of course she'd go to her.
4:36 THAT broke me. They so went there using the tune from Monty's memorial video while talking about those who were no longer here to see what had been achieved in their absence.

Raven really came out of nowhere.
Whitley got one hell of a growth spurt.

I swear, every time these people reunite, it makes me cry. 😢
for a long time I theorized that qrow would either be hyper-depressed or on a huge rage-filled revenge quest to kill cinder and stuff. but him legitimately staying optimistic is an amazing Suprise all cause of clover and rubys message he realy captures the whole message of keep moving forward

They said it was cut and moved to v10!
This also explains the Blacksmith's line:
"Where will this take us?"
"Not where. *When* you are needed most."
Ruby has a knack for bringing people together, but even her talent has its limit. But nothing brings people together like a martyr people loved. Her and her team being MIA for a while probably spurred more to join, in the knowledge that someone needed to carry on her work.
I'm so glad that Qrow didn't become depressed and instead became hopeful😊😊😊😊
I hope that this being pushed to V10 means that we can get like at least a full episode during the timeskip, because I'm really liking these plotlines. I also hope that they won't get less funding than hoped and thus have to scrap these interesting continuations of the Atlas characters in order to focus on the Vacuo plot.
If Ruby said "Salutations" at the end, i would've cried my eye's out
I can't wait to see Winters face when she sees Weiss is alive. It would seem RWBY and Jaune encounter Raven before anything else. I also can't wait to see Nora and Ren give Jaune a monster of a hug (I want to see them hug RWBY too). Seeing this in the first episode next season is going to be SOOO heartwarming. Although, this would have been a better post credits scene for Volume 9 instead of that trailer

I LOVE that little interaction between Qrow and Willow knowing that they both are dealing with alcoholism!
Legit hope they actually make that a serious thing between them, it would be so cool~
“You sent a message.. and the world answered” 😭😭 this whole epilogue is so good, I really hope we see something similar in V10
Really makes you wonder how serious the situation is over at RT if this was cut in favor of an advertisement for the Justice League crossover.
This BETTER be the intro to V10 it'll be amazing a good way to kinda give us a quiet reintroduction of the series as everyone gets ready overtime to face against Salem and her army.
The test music they used as Team RWBY reappeared near the end is “The Mighty Rio Grande” by This Will Destroy You. This track had previously been used to back RT’s tribute to Monty Oum after he passed away (ruclips.net/video/_465XaHoiGs/видео.html).
This 6 minute scene was so heart wrenching! Too bad that knowing the length and number of RWBY episodes per volume, I feel like I’ve watchrd now half of the plot of Volume 10
B-R-U-H that was incredible! Hopefully we'll see this sequence fully realized in Volume 10, perhaps as a prologue or pilot. Might not happen, but I'd consider it a shame to leave such a tender piece of character work on the cutting room floor

I’m super sad they cut this. Also I totally called that Raven would come help after Yang’s “death”. This kinda makes me wonder though if originally Raven was going to portal then out of the Ever After or if it’s just that she felt Yang was back on Remanent and portaled to her and and then Qrow. Although this means Ruby/Yang can confront her about Summer. We need Vol 10 to be greenlit!
Couldn't help but spit on Ironwood's grave one last time, eh?
Winter Brain: With V10 still not greenlit, there's a chance we might not ever see this scene or anything else set up for the rest of the story finished.
Qrow Brain: It could be worse. They could be trying to get it greenlit by Netflix.
I really hope they drop this in HD on their channels or on the RT site so I can watch it without the audience in the background, but thanks sm for the upload! This gave me goosebumps and I cannot wait for the (hopefully happening) greenlight of volume 10 at some point this year.

I don’t care how long we have to wait for volume 10 because as the original theme of rwby once said: this will be the day we waited for!!
This is possibly one of the best written and performanced sequences in the entire series, it's honestly infuriating that they would cut this of all things.
I'm glad we will see this in V10 at least!
Kinda wish they would've included Taiyang coming through the portal with Raven and RWBY. They could've built that up because she went to see Taiyang at one point
I LOVE the idea of Qrow helping Wiess Mom with her addiction.
Can you just imagine Ruby's reaction to seeing Raven after her vision in the Tree? "You and I are going to have a *talk*. But get us to Qrow now."
I feel sorry for Winter, though she shouldn't blame herself, bad things happen, and there's nothing you can do about it, but I know she'll take solace, that when she sees Weiss alive and well, I know in my heart, she'll be in tears of joy.

This made me want to cry so badly. I almost broke down when Qrow started crying. I hope they make this the opening scene in volume 10! If this doesn’t get green lit I’ll be devastated
It's so weird how fitting This Will Destroy You is with RWBY. That song never fails to pull at my heart strings.
Meanwhile, someone who only knows Ruby as the Girl who Sent a Message: I could make a religion out of this.
I need this to be animated so I can cry my eyes out when I watch Raven bring her kids home and Nora's reaction cause lets be honest, she is the most emotional one when it comes to these things. cant wait form not to be greenlit !!!

I’d assume time passed differently in between the dimensions as Volume 9 only took place across 3 days as a hole (yes I counted lol) and this alone implies several weeks if not months have passed by since volume 8s ending

And now for a reach: Raven upon finding Yang either hits her for scaring the hell out of her or hugs her crying. Raven stays long enough for Ruby to get an answer about what happened to Summer. Raven tells both Yang and Ruby that she was with Summer when Salem did her in and out of fear she stayed away from Yang as Salem saw her face and knew she followed Ozpin
Gotta say that was very heartfelt. Winter losing hope but Qrow holds strong. And despite comes hope. Gotta say I’m shocked this actually is a good thing for Rwby
I like how the beginning of the vid also showed the 3 remaining members of the ACEOPS (Harriet, Elm, Marrow) in the background together.
Ruby's speech was the breaking point of the volume for me. After seeing Remember the message of Ruby Rose Because She made a Legacy Moment

That "Hey everyone" wasn't just for the characters, I felt like that was also for us viewers! Great job, CRWBY!
The fact that Raven went to Yang as soon as she felt their link being restored after she returned from the Ever After makes me a little happy about it
when the filmer said "WHAT???? fuckin' raven." i felt that.
To think this will probably never see the light of day now that RT is shutting down.
Winter is going to cry so hard when she's reunited with Weiss I can't wait for the Schneesters to see each other again! Also damn this hits so hard in the feels. I didn't really like some of the elements of V9, so seeing this really felt like RWBY is back for me personally. Can't wait to see this in V10, I hope they don't change too much!
I was there to watch this and all I want to do is just watch it over and over. Whoever put this up is awesome. I personally think it works better at the beginning of volume 10 than the end of volume 9 but I can't wait to see this fully animated in volume 10, even with whatever changes they may make to it. I've balled watching this both times.
Its kinda sad seeing everyone think that Team RWBY and Jaune died
This scene is definitely going to make me cry. Especially once Winter and her family see Weiss. And figuring out how long it has been and how the Oscar/Ozpin situation is going, etc. The Clover comment already did make me cry that was so sweet 😭
Though I'm hyped that we better get more team CFVY content in here
This brought me to tears 😭, this was amazing to watch, I’m actually kinda glad they didn’t have this as a volume 9 ending, I would love for it to be the opening for volume 10 though. Volume 10 needs the greenlit!!

I love Qrow here "One step at a time" with Willow, Alcoholics Anonymous anyone? Its giving "Mom" vibes and I'm here for it because I love that show.
RWBY was my first introduction to rooster teeth I was very late to the party in 2015. But I fell in love with the history of the series and I really hope that we at least get some form of ending. These past hours I've been thinking to myself I wonder what Monty would have ended things with. I guess we'll never know. Keep moving forward

Was not ready for that to be as emotional as it was... I really hope we get to see some of the time skip before RWBY returns.
That’s an awesome sequence. I’m sad that it was never animated. However, I do think that it works better as an end to the first episode of vol 10 then the end of vol 9. I think it would be cool to see the 1st episode of volume 10 show what the others have been doing in Vacuo and end it off with this scene.
Not gonna lie, I bawled my eye out when I watched this. Happy of course! I now cannot wait for more RWBY.

I assume this is how the first episode of Volume 10 will end, so we’ll see how they run into Raven.
Everyone is scared that RWBY may be in trouble since Volume 10 is not greenlit yet. That may be because Rooster Teeth was mostly focusing on the Justice League movies, but once that is all done, they'll probably get Volume 10 going.
Maybe we might see a preview for it in a post-credit sequence for the movie. We got something similar in the Volume 9 finale with a post-credit preview for the first movie, so why not?
And the fact that Kerry said it would be in Volume 10 shows that it is happening.
It just stinks that we have to wait longer.

In all honesty I am completely content with at the very least getting volume 10 looking just like this, if it doesn’t ever get green lit and doesn’t have the budget to be as animated as usual.
They should have put this in volume 9. This would at least have given us a little bit of closure to what happened

Did you notice that the background music they used during the ending of the epilogue was the one they used in their "Tribute to Monty Oum" video? RIP Monty, what a miracle you have created...
Watching this made me tear up a little. When it's fully animated and we get the rest of the reunion, I will actually cry.

If anything, it feels like this will be the beginning of the episode and then the rest will be explaining how they even met with raven in the first place, or this will be the beginning of the SECOND episode
I really hope, with RT being shut down, that RWBY will get picked up and finished. I doubt it'll be any time soon, but I'm hoping.

Since we will apparently see this in some shape of form in Vol 10, whenever that will be greenlit since things are a bit harder now because of the deal with Crunchyroll but they do want to continue, I am already preparing my heart for the feels cause it already hit me even here!

Thankyou for posting this. Not all of the fans of RWBY live in America so many of us can't afford the international flights and cost of accommodation or the time off work to got to RTX. Maybe they were planning to show this to the rest of the world later, I hope so. I also hope you don't get into trouble for posting this.
They thankfully didn't say "do not record" before showing it. So I'm glad I got to share it and I'm working the event as Press this year so! :) I do hope they release even this clip on their website
