for a long time I theorized that qrow would either be hyper-depressed or on a huge rage-filled revenge quest to kill cinder and stuff. but him legitimately staying optimistic is an amazing Suprise all cause of clover and rubys message he realy captures the whole message of keep moving forward

I’m so glad that everyone is making a difference together in Vacuo. Raven really came out of nowhere. Whitley got one hell of a growth spurt. I hope it wasn’t months or even years.
I love that raven seems to be back helping. So she probably came to figure out what happened to Yang when she felt her familial link disappear. Then when she felt the link reestablish she came as fast as she could and brought them to shade.
This BETTER be the intro to V10 it'll be amazing a good way to kinda give us a quiet reintroduction of the series as everyone gets ready overtime to face against Salem and her army.
This also explains the Blacksmith's line: "Where will this take us?" "Not where. *When* you are needed most." Ruby has a knack for bringing people together, but even her talent has its limit. But nothing brings people together like a martyr people loved. Her and her team being MIA for a while probably spurred more to join, in the knowledge that someone needed to carry on her work.
I can't wait to see Winters face when she sees Weiss is alive. It would seem RWBY and Jaune encounter Raven before anything else. I also can't wait to see Nora and Ren give Jaune a monster of a hug (I want to see them hug RWBY too). Seeing this in the first episode next season is going to be SOOO heartwarming. Although, this would have been a better post credits scene for Volume 9 instead of that trailer
I LOVE that little interaction between Qrow and Willow knowing that they both are dealing with alcoholism! Legit hope they actually make that a serious thing between them, it would be so cool~

I’d assume time passed differently in between the dimensions as Volume 9 only took place across 3 days as a hole (yes I counted lol) and this alone implies several weeks if not months have passed by since volume 8s ending
B-R-U-H that was incredible! Hopefully we'll see this sequence fully realized in Volume 10, perhaps as a prologue or pilot. Might not happen, but I'd consider it a shame to leave such a tender piece of character work on the cutting room floor
Kinda wish they would've included Taiyang coming through the portal with Raven and RWBY. They could've built that up because she went to see Taiyang at one point

This is possibly one of the best written and performanced sequences in the entire series, it's honestly infuriating that they would cut this of all things.
I feel sorry for Winter, though she shouldn't blame herself, bad things happen, and there's nothing you can do about it, but I know she'll take solace, that when she sees Weiss alive and well, I know in my heart, she'll be in tears of joy.

I was there to watch this and all I want to do is just watch it over and over. Whoever put this up is awesome. I personally think it works better at the beginning of volume 10 than the end of volume 9 but I can't wait to see this fully animated in volume 10, even with whatever changes they may make to it. I've balled watching this both times.

Maybe we might see a preview for it in a post-credit sequence for the movie. We got something similar in the Volume 9 finale with a post-credit preview for the first movie, so why not? And the fact that Kerry said it would be in Volume 10 shows that it is happening. It just stinks that we have to wait longer. #GREENLIGHTVOLUME10

RWBY was my first introduction to rooster teeth I was very late to the party in 2015. But I fell in love with the history of the series and I really hope that we at least get some form of ending. These past hours I've been thinking to myself I wonder what Monty would have ended things with. I guess we'll never know. Keep moving forward

Think there's going to be a betting pool before volume 10 and we see the aftermath of Nora and the others seeing Ruby and the gang - who does Nora potential injure first with a charging hug that is second only to Penny upon seeing Ruby again for the first time. Or possibly find a way to tackle all of them at the same time.
Okay, that answered a theory/guess I had after Volume 8. That Raven would be involved in getting them back to everyone. Though I would expect Taiyang to be there in Volume 10!!
