- I haven't had that much fun making a beat in ages!
When I heard these little boxes playing in small shrines inside houses, I knew I had to buy one.
It took me a while to get a model featuring both a high number of chants to choose from and an output jack, but here we are, and I couldn't have been happier with the result.
The ABSURDLY lo-fi quality of the recordings adds a lot of character, and when I got it I was afraid the bad sound was only due to the onboard awful speaker; turned out the bad quality was from the recording itself, so... win?
First quick video here, but I will be using it a lot more in the future, and I'm trying to find creative ways for ambient music too :)

The original soundtrack you use to remix is used in Vietnam as an important soundtrack in people's funeral, the purpose is to free their spirit and wish them peace on the way to heaven

My mom is a Buddhist we live in the US I cannot find this specific box anywhere it’s hard to online too, I want to get one for her but I cannot find ones that are a Actually chanting in Vietnamese like this box in the video the website that you bought it from only ships to Vietnam where else can I find this specific box Amazon does not have it help pls
I think your best bet would be eBay, many people that commented on my Facebook post got the chant machine from there. And the other people just thought about waiting for their next trip to Vietnam/visit from relatives :)

Eheh I definitely will, even though this kind of sampling is a bit walking over the thin line of blasphemy for many people, so I wouldn't keep doing that regularly.

I think your best chance would be eBay! Or try to find some Vietnamese community in your area, even though judging by the other comments, these boxes seem pretty rare for them too.
Note that also you could find more easily other chant boxes from Chinese or maybe even Indian cultures.
Just be careful, not all the people could be understanding of your musical work with those 😌

@@ominhquano Thật không may, mình biết về điều này, và đó cũng là lý do mình đã gửi bài nhạc này tới rất nhiều bạn ở Việt Nam từ người nghe tới đồng nghiệp, nhiều nhất có thể, rồi sau đó mình mới đăng tải, để tránh những tình huống hiểu lầm.
Mình cũng nghĩ rằng kể cả người thấy rằng bài nhạc này phản cảm, cũng có thể biết rất ít về nhạc Phật nói chung, bởi vì đã từ lâu dòng nhạc này cũng như "hàng vạn dòng nhạc khác" luôn được tôn kính với lòng thành cao nhất, cùng với hoa, nhang trầm thậm chí là đồ trang sức.
Nên dòng nhạc "Kinh Diệu Pháp Liên Hoa" cũng cùng chung những điểm này.
Có nhiều truyền thống được hình thành nên bởi những thói quen thiếu cẩn thận, và mình rất vui vì phần lớn mọi người đã không bị rơi vào tình huống trớ trêu khi cho rằng: khái niệm thánh tích từ thời điểm mà dòng nhạc này mới xuất hiện là bất khả thi và không thể thực hiện, cũng chính vì vậy mà không thể tỏ ra thoái chí hay là muộn phiền khi đón nhận bài nhạc được
