Is using practice mode worth it? I'm on a minimum wage job and looking for ways of making more money. I don't come out with any savings unfortunately currently due to my monthly payments taking pretty much all of my wage. I've made over 4k profit from horse racing in the but keep giving up on it. Its not a savings pot I have as its been spent on living expenses but the ambition is to make some savings, which I would like to do in usual ways some day but its not going to happen anytime soon. Therefore I can't really risk too much money at the moment. So I guess the question is, is practice mode just a waste of time? As i've heard people say that its better to trade live with just small stakes, but I feel it would better to not lose anything at the moment. I'm thinking of using practice mode and collecting each trade in excel or something until I'm more consistent and able to risk a bit more. Would it be worth doing or would it all be completely different when it comes to live trading?
Thanks for the information Peter, I'll take a look into the races and i'll try to come out with some profit, it would be interesting to record the movements and how you traded them!
Most moves get slowly discounted into the market, so you don't really need fast pictures. I just use pictures over SKY or Betfair live video to keep an eye on the market.

I find the pictures have fallen behind live so far now due to streaming its not posdible😢

I tend to watch the dedicated TV channels and any extra coverage they support.
