    This video unravels the stark contrast between mainstream tipsters and my approach to betting on horse racing and winning every race.
    While people with little to no track record can be heavily promoted, I never get the chance to talk about what I do.
    So, in this video, I'm bringing to light the practices that often go unnoticed and why they occur.
    In this video:
    🤔 The Contrast: Exploring the disparity between a heavily promoted Betfair ambassador and my approach

    It really helps if you can run your betting account the same as you would run an investment account. Look for a monthly return that will beat the return from a bank which is usually 4.5℅. I do a daily £10 football double that pays 7/1. Last month my return rate was one return every 6.1 games so basically a 10% profit. That's my tip

    I don't understand why bookies don't want to pay out. Well, perhaps I do. Greed. Anyway. I think they're missing a trick. Pay-out and on their sites and shops say we paid Mr. X from Southampton £25,000 yesterday. It could be you today.
    Why they scrabble around to not pay-out with the ridiculous over rounds is beyond me.

    • @Lifelongloser
      @Lifelongloser 6 месяцев назад

      Well 99.99% of the time they do pay out. And where they don’t we usually don’t have the full story.
      In fact I’ve had bookies pay me out over and above the strict letter of their rules vis a vis limits on certain markets. Both Bet365 and Boylesports have done so. And I’m not talking about small amounts.

    Peter, keep the top content coming, the haters have nothing better to do ;)
    I must've watched every one of your videos in recent months (note to self: log in and like now and then...) and many are the most enjoyable and interesting I've come across on BF trading. 👏
    I think the problem you're facing here besides the fact that betting media outlets are primarily bookie affiliates, is that trading just isn't sexy enough! Without the more sensational elements of some of the pro gambler stories out there, trading sports is like its other forms in that it's largely an exercise in cold number crunching. Don't get me wrong, your story certainly is remarkable in its own right, I just think the limelight has shifted since you broke new ground alongside the emergence of the betting exchange. Still, who wouldn't choose millions in profit over a seat at the tipsters' table?? 😀

    Hi Peter, I'm a big fan of yours and would like to ask u a question if that's ok. In Mark Douglas Trading in The Zone book, he basically says u just get what the market makes available to u and not what u think u can take from the market. Sorry if ive butchered that a bit but I hope u understand. I just wanted to no if u thought the same principles he describes in his book are relatable to Betfair. Would be great to get your opinion. Thanks and take care.

      Curiously, I've never read Trading in the Zone and have followed my own path. But based on what I know about the book and what people have commented on, I believe the principles Mark Douglas outlines in "Trading in The Zone" can definitely be applied to Betfair trading as well.

    The main issue with tipsters, no matter the sport or discipline, is that they tell you where to play your money. It's like if you gave them your bankroll to hope have some profit at the end of the year...like banks when the try to sell you their magic fund or miracle investment.

      There isn't more liquidity, but there does appears to be more volume on offer, but that's probably them seeding the market on the back of the Betfair prices?

    Thank you as always for the video Peter. Some of the comments here are laughable- I for one appreciate what you are trying to achieve. There is a big difference between finding the winner on every horse at Cheltenham, and winning on every race .... some people want the instant gratification and big win with no effort .... WH and Ladbrokes both restricted me so now I use betfair.

  • @jackbaker1921

    How long do you think before the exchange is dead and buried? As someone who frequently bets/trades across 5/6 different sports (none of which are horse racing), I’ve noticed the alarming reduction in the ranges of markets that are offered on the exchange vs the sportsbook and more crucially the dwindling liquidity. We all knew it was going to happen as soon as flutter expressed a desire to acquire it, but it seems as in the last year or so with developments in the white paper, as though the process of wrapping it up has been accelerated.

    Betfair exchange do restrict you now. Due to affordability, they restrict you from depositing money in your account, rendering scalability unobtainable. Peter could you do a guide on how to get betfair to allow you to deposit more than £500 a month when you can’t prove an income as you don’t have one, thanks. I think this skill is going to become the most important side to betfair trading over the next couple of years.

    • @betangeltv
      @betangeltv  6 месяцев назад

      Well it's not a restriction on winning but a mandated deposit restriction, which is not helpful. Most people just use the monthly limit to fund their account to a reasonable balance. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

    Been unfair on T as firstly he is trying pick value winners, but doesn't tip every horse he has backed or layed/layed off etc and secondly you 'won' on all 27 races at Cheltenham, but doesn't mean you picked any winners. In theory, you could have laid the outsider in every Cheltenham race and you would have won 27 out of 27 times. Yes, exchanges offer more value, however enhanced extra places are something that bookies offer that is also a great help to making money. Also, trying to tip winners is positive, other ways of making money out of the race could come over to the audience as negative and dubious.

    • @betangeltv

      Trying to predict the winner and make it pay is the hardest thing a person can do imo and should not be your overall objective. Extracting money from the market should be your goal but I get that it’s not as exciting as backing a 50/1 winner and that is where the problem lies for most people, overcoming this urge is part of trading mastery
