I came across a car wreak and one had an animal trailer, hanging around were a couple of sheep, as I past by one started to follow me, so I stopped, before I even got out of the bloody car, it attacked me thru the car door! Gave me a deep laceration. 😆😆
I jumped on the generator today and it was down to like 40% so came at a good time! As for the shoes they’re basically brand new I think we’re all good!
I think maybe the ewes baby was left behind? When you took mum I swear I heard a baby sheep noise Also make sure your bunnies are the same breed Hopefully you can find a nicer ram 😂😂
I did head back and I think I’ve got them all as far as I can tell but I’ll keep an eye out, good spot though I definitely missed her! The bunnies are going wild, it’s gonna be grand!
I think it's a bug you can not pet the sheep. But once you have a sheer in your inventory you're able to do it. I got a electric sheer and found out by accident.
Ahhh got you that does make a lot of sense, I’ll get tracking down a sheer! I did find an electric sheer in the stream run I think, if only it was here aye!
Not quite sure, but I think that a lot of things on ground make animals stressed all the time. I moved my trailer, logs and corpses out of their way and it fixed it. Maybe you could try that? Also, try not to chop trees in their presence.
I did go for a full scale clean and got some bits sorted, new troughs and things just to try get them settled so we’ll see how we go, only a matter of time right? I’ll sack off the tree cutting though, hopefully that’ll help!
Could it simply be that you seperated that sheep from her lamb and that is causing the stress? Since you are able to milk her and it doesn't show her as pregnant she must have given birth recently, so might be worht checking that pasture again for her baby.
Now that’s not a bad shout, I kinda thought the little one we brought with was the lamb, I don’t remember seeing her before but it’ll definitely be worth a check!
I wonder if they are going to have zombies attracted to the animals sounds and try to chase them around and eat them. It's kinda weird the zombies just ignore them. Maybe zombie animals too?
I came across the egg farm on the outskirts of Echo Creek, and there’s a ton of chicken enclosures. I swear, the zombies kept appearing to try and swipe at the chickens, the chickens that had a Z in their pen were not happy and were running around like….chickens😏 On the other hand I’ve seen Z’s standing next to larger penned animals and not do jack so 🤷♂️. It does say that animals won’t leave their area unless Z’s are near, why try to leave if Z’s aren’t a threat? it’s all a bit of a mystery.
Yeah it seems a little strange the way they work with zeds, I can’t quite work it out but there’s a lot of funny business going on! I think there’s a setting you need to enable that is normally off that’ll allow zeds to kill them but I think they’re always attracted to them, strange things going on
Bulls and Rams irl are ornery, irascible bloody things. There is countless vids on YT of them being unsociable. There was one guy not far from where I used to live that made his old stroppy ram a minor internet celebrity, “Angry Ram” is the channels name, there’s some funny vids. RIP Rambro the Angry Ram.
9:20 You got mauled by that ram. (haha later on he smashed the fences you worked on for days hahahaha. Now its dead) Also there is a sandbox setting that allowes wound infection to be harmfull and it will damage you. I set it at 1. Idk what it really does, But I lost a tiny bit of health when I got a woundinfection. Seeing how you almost NEVER take care of bandages and just leave them as is. I also did that, But now I am starting to propperly take care of them. also antibiotica finally has a real use now. Wound infection is not fun XD and I even kept it at 1. Idk what happens when you put it higher. I might test it out in debug soon. So see how badly it is when turned up to 50 or something lol 18:30 I am not sure, take it with a grain of salt. But I do believe their stress just goes down casually when you are near them for enough time. Just pet them every day. (also the petting works like mechanic. 24h cooldown) What I did, I had some stressed piggs. I sat down outside, and just read a skill book. did that for 3 days and it helped. Idk how long it took, but after a few days all my animails where calm and just sleeping. The pigs where way nicer, They didnt attack or caused issues. Also I had 2 male pigs and it was fine. Pigs are just the better animails I guess? hahahaha To get them stressed, DONT butcher animils to close to them. They will react and scream (at least my pigs did) 21:40 Into the scredder! make some chicken nuggest from them XD
He lived a very short, angry life :D I did see that setting, I turned it on with the first guy but forgot about this guy and I'm regretting it a lot! keeps things interesting and actually makes disinfectant serve a purpose which I like a lot! Let me know what it's like at max, would be good to know! That's exactly what I've been trying to do. Keep on top of just being around them, petting them and keeping their enclosure clean, bound to work out at some point right? You got lucky with the pigs too, maybe I need a few of those instead :D I definitely should've lead the big boy away before butchering him, terrible move! Haha I wish I could chicken nugget them all!
don't put them inside the trailer. just drag them to base with a rope so they wont get stresses. i've tried pulling two animals with two ropes. i dont know if you can pull more cause i only have 2 ropes.
Dude the thing would’ve killed me if I dragged him the whole way back, getting him in the trailer was the only way :D good shout for the females though, could’ve saved some agro
Well you’re maybe going to be a successful farmer? Maybe check and see what the other barn has that you don’t. You also killed their baby daddy in front of them 😬
Hmmm I wouldn’t say successful, it’s been a stressful recording evening I think you’re gonna love/hate it :D yeah probably wasn’t my strongest hour taking out the ram but we move, no more building the base!
So from what I've sussed. You can't kill the animals in front of wach other. Moving them can stress them, and clutter can stress them. Another comment also pointed out that you may have left a lamb behind. As far as your extra male chicks... just set them free outside of your pen. If you really feel bad, put a feeding trough and waterer out. Free meat
I think I’ve got caught up with the first points, the lamb I left behind I completely missed but she’s in the building so it must just be a matter of time before they distress. As for the chickens, whole other story, been a stressful evening :D
I think petting animals has positive effects on our survivor but not so good for the animals. Don't interact with the stressed ones, let them settle on their own. Look for dead bodies too that stresses them. Make sure they aren't using the stairs as well, I imagine falling a story would stress the hell out of me.
Yeah you’re probably right, maybe I should just float around them a bit and get them used to me, give them time just by cleaning the place. I still need to fence off those stairs too thanks for the reminder!
I don’t understand the animals myself or y that ram was breaking ur fence I thought maybe you would tell me I was waiting for this episode simply because of that see we both lost on y they act the way they do
Just something super wrong every time V says I need him for his milk--lol
Hahaha he is the milkman!
You killed the ram in their presence
That’d probably do it, probably not the greatest new handler for them starting off with that aye
I agree with this, I killed a rabbit in the pen and the where super unhappy with me for a few days.
I came across a car wreak and one had an animal trailer, hanging around were a couple of sheep, as I past by one started to follow me, so I stopped, before I even got out of the bloody car, it attacked me thru the car door! Gave me a deep laceration. 😆😆
Hahaha they’re vicious beasts aren’t they, can’t be trusted at all! I get they’re built to ram but my god do they ram!
Another fantastic episode today don't forget to check your shoes and clothes and check that generators condition ❤❤
He always makes me freaks out with his generator maintenance
I jumped on the generator today and it was down to like 40% so came at a good time! As for the shoes they’re basically brand new I think we’re all good!
The bulls are even more aggressive than the rams. I was trying to get one home, but he almost killed me
I don’t even wanna think about those guys, the sheep were bad enough!
😮😮😮
clutter on the ground makes the sheep stressed
One of many things apparently, I’m slowly cleaning everything up and getting ahead of it, hoping it fixed it all!
I think maybe the ewes baby was left behind? When you took mum I swear I heard a baby sheep noise

sheep and pigs apparently need metal fences otherwise they break everything .. lost a load of rain collectors
Ahhhh that does make a lot of sense, if only I knew that before building the entire thing out of wood aye :D
@@Vulrhund Now i have heard this .. i do not have the carpentry skill yet to implement it and confirm .. working towards it :)

11:33 I hope you're not trying to milk that ram
Hang on, that’s where the milk comes from? Right?
❤️
Appreciate you man!

12:31 That's what she said
Hahaha the list goes on for this episode :D
Should put on some body armor when youre dealing with that ram!
Definitely will in future, those guys do not hold back!

iirc there is a sandbox option that is tuurned off by default that when you activate it the z will go after animals aswell..
I had a bull almost kill me too. I took a lot of damage.
Vicious things! Gonna stay away from the bull, rams bad enough!
@ maybe take your females to the males at another farm or field.

Also. I bet that ram had an issue with your low animal handling skill lol
