I saw on the shelf some longaberger coffee mugs. Did some research and they can sell from $8 to $23 dollars each. You may want to check into them. Absolutely love your videos. Have a wonderful day!😀👍🏻❤️
The draped pink vase was a florist special either from Teleflora or FTD for Mother’s Day several years back. It was one of my faves because it was easy to arrange in. I was a floral designer in a previous life. :)
You missed your 2 points for praying hands. Lol Kudos to you for remembering your bags. Big thank you, I inherited my Mama's big and medium pyrex bowls and because of you reminding us not to put them in the dishwasher or they fade, the yellow is brilliant and the mauve one is mauvey.
The best cast iron has a smooth cooking surface. Wagner and Griswold is usually smooth. Lodge and others have a bumpy cooking surface and are not desirable.
This is why I like your videos - you are literally telling us your thought process and then you back it up with 'evidence' via online research tools. It's really helped me learn this business. Cheers.
A video from the Crazy Lamp Lady is the perfect end to a stressful day. 25 minutes of thrifting bliss. I'm a long-time pottery collector surrounded by glass collectors, but your videos have given me a new appreciation for glass. I bought my first Empoli decanter & I think I might be hooked.
Great video … love how you have the “ pulse” on what will sell … following or setting the trends … enjoy how you can source for an audience across the country and beyond … great job … thank you
The fairy light insert! wow! I found two of three pieces of a fairy light recently for $6... and then spent far too much on the insert, but honestly worth it to have it all together:) Great find for sure!
With cast iron, look for Griswold, Wagner and Lodge in that order. Look for pieces that have a cast iron lid. Cast iron is another one of those rabbit holes where the subtle nuances and differences of the pieces can be worth hundreds of dollars or just a few.
I have an antique cast iron waffle iron for a woodburning stove, The only marking on it is the number 8. Instead of the little squares to create the waffle, mine has a fleur-de-lis pattern inside. I have had zero luck trying to date the iron or finding who made the iron. Have you ever seen a fleur-de-lis wafflemaker.
@@ruthw1079 No, but there are several companies that made novelty patterns. Numbers usually relate to the size of the pan, but again, with a novelty pattern, it could be a pattern or stock number.
Temptations is notorious for chipping and breaking. I had a casserole that shattered into a million pieces as I pulled a baked pasta dish out of the oven. On the QVC chat, I found out that happens a LOT!
I ALMOST dropped my thrifted studio pottery mug filled with SNICKERPOODLE coffee when I spotted those ULTRA RARE items in your cart. And such a stunning shade of green! Of course I'm referring to the reusable bags you brought 😂😂😂😂 CONGRATULATIONS 👏🎉 🛍️
You passed up some tumblers by Jeanette Iris & Herringbone (clear glass). I need 4 of those and have had a hard time finding them. Would you consider going back for them?? I’m trying to complete my grandmother’s set and already have the pitcher and two tumblers.
4:38 I have that piece so excited to find it! Looked over her bouquet her little veil her fingers all good! Until I get home and notice his boutonnière is broken off!😕
I was wondering when you come across something like those little trinket dishes that have tape over the gold details, could you soak them in warm water before trying to remove the tape? Or would that make it worse. Or maybe a warm blow dryer to soften the tape.
If someone didn’t have a lot of money but wanted some nice bakeware and cookware hitting up the thrift stores for temptations would be the way to go! I see it so often and yes it does somewhat have the “look” of polish pottery. Except way easier to find and generally better priced. Although comparing the 2 Polish pottery is a lot nicer! But I think for someone just starting out Temptations would be a great dupe.
Pyrex Terra. Probably my least favourite pattern, because the design is pretty fragile, as you obviously saw. I've never seen a piece that didn't have damage to it.
Prices are pretty good at the one near me, but the stuff doesn't look much like the things at those. Mostly junk in the knickknack sort of area. I did get a decent 20" monitor and virtually new keyboard for about $15 net. I'm using those with the computer I fixed and have as a backup, so that was okay.
@@nannyjoes I think it’s not the fault of resellers as much as it is the overhead costs to run these businesses now. GW still has payroll, rent, utilities, etc. to pay which has all gone up too. Every business pretty much has had to raise their prices in today’s economy . I would also add if it’s just about resellers then it’s not working because many resellers I watch will pass on the higher priced items. Just my opinion of course.
I noticed. Thought the same. I wonder if there were saucers for them somewhere? I think I remember that they marketed the large mixing bowl as a punch bowl. You could turn a smaller mixing bowl upside down for the punch bowl stand. Then those cups would be punch cups ? Maybe I’m making that up though. 🤷🏼♀️ lol
@@mamaG4 understoood, however, I have not had that much trouble. Maybe 1 out of 25 pieces I soaked actually had damage after. I Know Coasters, and things with paper images, or painting on lacquerware is much more prone to being already disturbed, and you just cannot take that risk.
I have four Wagner cast iron skillet from the early 50s, I just looked them up yesterday and I couldn't believe the prices on them, they were my mothers. 💜🦊 😊🦉
The David Winter cottages can go for lots of money...BUT...these collectors are very picky so cottages have to be in pristine condition. The bigger the cottage the bigger the price the more picky they are

It was pretty obvious that the green of the Frankoma lid did not match the body.
Hope to see some booth restocking soon. Thank you for the daily videos, we do appreciate you.
I’ve fallen in love with the polish pottery.
I always like it when you buy pieces for your own use😊...Love the Cheese dish & the green pickle mug.❤

Could you get 4 of those longer burger mugs. I love them please ❤❤
The white and gold bird candle holder is from Mexico. I bought one at an estate sale that still had the sticker on it.
Reusable bags, yay!

That black and white Pyrex bowl is pretty old, my mom had those back in the 70's. They will be scratched and very well used.

If you heat them up with a hair dryer before you take the tape off it shouldn’t pull paint
Yes the clear glass collar piece for a fairy light. I paid 45 for my blue custard set. Ouch!😮
