      Apps Borkar not all unfortunately. I’ve seen quite some that claim they are and just trash talk. Every great player has those range of supposed fans, from the nicest to the nastiest. I personally am a fan of all three, with Rafa at the top for his humbleness and down to earth personality. I love how he always brings up the good qualities of his opponents, and treats all of them as tough, because they generally are.
      Some people, unfortunately, are blind and like to see these great players as gods and the like, making statements about how dominant they are and such. Anyways, just wanted to point out that not all fans are the same, and that there will always be a range.

      The GOAT is either Djokovic or Federer. Anyone who says Nadal is ignoring the fact that his slam record is carried by his dominance on clay. He can be the GOAT of clay, but not the GOAT of all tennis imo. His duration as the world #1 is paltry compared to Federer and Djokovic and he's never even won the world tour finals.
      Nadal isn't the GOAT.

    • @moneyman23946
      @moneyman23946 Год назад +8

      @@ClareAmel Yes, by statistics as of now he is, however that doesn't mean Djokovic won't be able to equalize or surpass him in slams and therefore in the GOAT race in the future.
      Your assessment that Nadal can't be the GOAT because of his slam tally carried by his dominance on clay is just unfair. He may only be the 3rd best player of the three by statistics when it comes to hard and grass courts, but in direct head 2 head with Federer, Federer only managed to beat Nadal 1 time at AO (2017 final) to Nadal having three wins (2009, 2012, 2014) and the other three times in Wimbledon (2006, 2007, 2019) to Nadal beating him once (2008). So Federer is historically inferior to Nadal at hart court grand slam level as well as on clay of course. Wouldn't there be Djokovic, Nadal would have multiple more grand slams in hard courts to date. The REAL race is and has been going on between Nadal and Djokovic since 2010, with Federer (I am sorry to say that but it's nevertheless true) as the clear-cut 3rd best. It's really not his playing ability that is inferior to Nadal's and Djoko's, it was always the mental aspect where Djokovic and Nadal are just monsters.
      By the way, Nadal has Olympic gold and the others do not (on a hard court) The biggest weakness Nadal has is indoor hard court which should be considered a liability in the GOAT race, but it's for sure not enough to put Federer above Nadal by any stretch of the imagination.

      In year 2008, Federer was around 27 years of age but it is the wonder of the world that in year 2019, ( around 38 years of age)he was playing with such authority, highest level thrashing Nadal, whereas Nadal around age 21 years in 2008 and playing with lesser authority in 2019 ( age around 32years) makes him look very ordinary when compared to the great Roger Federer. Federer always Mich better than Nadal in grass and any hard courts. Only a little lesser in clay courts

      Its not the truth. Stop talking bullshits. Level of any tennis player depends not only of him but from opponent too. Nadal today was good only in second set. Rest of the game were sending short balls. In the middle of the court. He didnt manage to send them in corners to push Federer to run a bit more.
      Its partly because of Federer and partly Rafa cant find a level of tennis on grass needed for Roger.
      Novak is other story. He knows well what he has to do and on sunday will prevail one who is more motivated and more agressive. Simply Novak knows to be agressive on any court..Remember AO 2019. He simply didnt allow Nadal to think of any chance.
      If Novak manage to rise at that level on Sunday...the outcome will be the same.
      Nevertheless..I will enjoy either way and Iam huge Novak fan.
      Simply when those 3 are playing Iam like I dont care whose gonna win. Let them just play at their best levels.
