I remember hearing another fanmade remix of this song with a similar idea of toning down the synth, and it really helps a lot in making the drums and guitar shine. God I wish forces wasn’t plagued with so much synth
Forces’ synths have been engraved to me so much, my brain immediately fills in the synth gaps for this 🥲 Anyway, I really don’t mind the idea of making an electronic-heavy soundtrack- my main issue with Forces’ OST as a whole is that there’s not a lot of variety within the synths and instruments it uses. Don’t quote me on this, but it almost sounds like Ohtani kinda just sticks to one or two synth instruments throughout the whole thing and it gets stale fast. Some tracks felt VERY Sonic Runners-ish vibe arrangement wise, it has that melancholy feel I wished the OST touched more upon, and I think the synths ruined that vibe a little ngl. Tracks that involve both rock and electronic also don’t really fuse together well other than Fist Bump imo. I don’t really hate the idea. Listening to Forces’ OST a bit recently makes me appreciate the arrangement of these tracks more. I just don’t think Ohtani has tapped his full potential in the EDM and electronic genre yet, especially when it’s fused with other instruments. I’ve personally listened to SMT V’s OST that’s very electronic-heavy throughout the whole thing but there’s a lot of tracks that I go, “oh it’s THIS track.” With Forces, it’s hard to do that personally cuz most of the synths felt outta place from everything else. This is just a me thing, but imo Battle - Da’at is a fantastic fusion between a heavy electronic track with guitars being in the background- none of the instruments felt like it was one-upping another and it fits the alien vibe the game was going for. So TLDR; have more varied synth instruments, make use of the guitars and orchestra more, also would love more violins cuz imo Ohtani’s a master at those
@@NurulSera yea forces' ost was a sequel to runners but with 10x worse instrument arrangements. literally if ohtani didn't use that one synth sound so much people would look back on this soundtrack a lot more fondly
The thumbnail being wrong gave me the idea if Generations added levels from Lost World, Forces & Frontiers as one last era with The End as its boss and Infinite for Rival Battle
I can still here the synth, ehy is the sonic generations logo here, and the synth in the original song does not sound anywhere near as obnoxious as some of the other songs. Also, you removed the main melody 😭😭

the boss fight would just be lyric
I was too lazy to get Sonic Forces' logo
Umm no u put in Generations purposely. Removing the Forces synth will just be Generations music. And that's better sounding in its own way.
Underrated with no hesitation
Holy cow, this changes so much!
Maybe I got brainrot, but I can still hear the main instrument; guess getting the forces platinum trophy was worth it after all💙
Yeah it still can be heard, I tried my best
@@RaihanGiblelover2000 Do not worry, it is still pretty good!!
Feels empty ngl
I can kinda of hear it as a Sonic Heroes song without the synth
Naw thats just your mind making that up cause u so used to hearing the other parts of the instruments…😅
@@omens255 I was saying it more it'll fit in the game

There's a lot of mistakes here that I didn't even know😨 (Except for the Sonic Generations logo)
Sonic x Shadow generations
Huh
