Medarot or Medabots as it's known here is a series of essentially RPGs that you take the role of a prospective Medabattler and you lead up to a team of 3 Medabots against other characters. TL:DR it's just Pokemon but with customizable robots instead of creatures.
I came here after watching Billiam's video on the medabots anime (ruclips.net/video/vo2RMm9Wqp8/видео.html) and wanting to play the games because they genuinely interested me (I absolutely love Pokemon games as well as games where you can customize your character, The more granular the better) and now I'm just trying to find a way to buy the game since I really want to try it out.
I know exactly what those games are. I grew up with them in the early zeros when one of my former pals played it in the schoolyard. They were niche for their time, but aged well

As much as I would love it, I don’t think that has even a sliver of a chance of happening. Of the 8 games in the collection only two GBA games were localized and are obscure, and Medabots itself has fallen quite into obscurity in the west itself. I don’t think they would bother. I would love to play the Medabots RPG games on a modern console, but I guess I’ll wait for the Analogue Pocket lol.

Do you know if the games get translated when you play them? I remember when the Yu-gi-oh game for the switch came out in Japan you were able to get your regions language if you downloaded it from the Japanese Nintendo E-Shop. Would like to know before I buy it off there if it does get translated or not.
Both Kabuto and Kuwagata versions are in Japanese only, and did not get translated to my region language (English). I also did not find any setting within the game to change the language.

A few of these came here but most didn't. We did get 2 CORE as well as a reskin of G called AX. The rest of the games are all in Japanese.

You could import them through play Asia. And you could find even more over there than just games
You can just make a Japanese nintendo account (not switch account) and just buy the game like that
I have a few questions. Where did you buy it? And can you play it on an English Nintendo switch
I pre-ordered this one from Joshin, a store here in Japan. Not sure if there are still stocks available, but chances are low. Played this on my English Switch, language is still Japanese
