I was looking for et cause I saw Medabots merch in japan, but like... then I saw they had licensed it to an NFT game and I was like f this. I will say Japan is more accepting of NFTs, and shows liger Tiger X bunny has them as well.
The Collaboration honestly caught everyone by surprise too! Certainly, when we heard that the main artists for Digimon AND Medarot made the counterpart in their own style, we thought that something great would come from it; only to find they initially stated "This was just an Art collab, nothing more." What a surprise when, exactly 1 year to the day, we got not only the designs THEY made, but we also got TWO more models out of it on the Medarot side of the collab! When I initially reported on it, it was easy to say that we all collectively lost our minds when we all woke up to a surprise patch in Medarot S with those wonderful models! At this time, they still are one of the few Collabs that has yet to Rerun in Medarot S, and I'm hopeful that we may see it again sometime soon. But I'd like a break from the ongoing Gridman Universe collab first before they do, as we all need to recoup our resources first if we want to be able to pull for them LOL! Great video, wonderful and informational coverage! If you ever want to dive into the world of Medarot, I'd be happy to have you with me on the MNN!

I’ve seen people believe Comadran Studios’ Medabots is the real deal because they’re legally in the right to use the name Medabots. Using the name Medarot helps with getting the correct search results. If you include S Unlimited Nova then the spelling doesn’t matter as much.

I don't know why, but this crossover warms my heart, I didn't even know medabots was a thing... Maybe it was a blip on my radar, but digimon is something I'm a huge fan of. So seeing a joke go from a joke to a live letter is just, so nice.
Man I miss Medabots so much. What I wouldn't give for an MMO where you created your own character and explored a big city challenging other fellow Medabot users in PVP combat in exchange for parts, all while doing a story mode where you get parts via NPCs too.

No lie, I looked up the Medabots series and it held up. It's rare that I revisit old shows and find them as enjoyable as i did as a kid. So this is awesome to learn!

What is kinda great as well is Medabots' mobile game has continued with some crossovers with stuff like Megaman BattleNetwork and Gridman Universe. And what is a great through-line between those two and Digimon is all 3 are about Digital beings that exist in some sort of Digital World. So by crossing over with Medabots it is almost like those Digital beings are using the battling robots to get physical bodies.
Two series that I wish could get some crossover love (or even just a new game lol) would be Custom Robo and Bangai-O. They didn't have any anime presents but I loved their games.

Something that is both so adorable and so badass like GreyWars deserves far more than just a few April Fools promotions and a single obscure spinoff "game". Hell, Medabots in general deserves a Western resurgence.
I feel like digimon and Medarots could easily go hand in hand for crossovers. Imagine: medarots exist like they normally do, but the medals contain the mind and soul of the digimon, and the digivice/medawatch are the same device. The medawatch could have a charge cable that holds to the child's computer, and the digimon can move between the digital space in the medal to the computer. The kids could have a VR headset that let's them interact with the digimon on the computer while the Medawatch and Medabot body recharge or need repair
Digimon is at a point where it can cross over with a lotta things and be considered normal. In Digimon, there's a Digimon called Nanimon that's a tamagotchi that accidentally got sent to the digital world.

If there were a fusion of Digimon & Metabots I think it could work with the bots being their way to interact with our world while the .mon are their forms in their world.

I'd *love* to see a Kuwagamon Medabot. He may not be the most iconic Digimon, but I think his design would fit perfectly as a Medabot, being that a lot of them were based around beetles. That, and he just looks cool and is one of my favourites. I imagine he'd look like: Sumilidon-style "bangs" on either side of his face, but shaped like Kuwagamon's mandibles; four arms with claws, again like Sumilidon's but in a three-pronged configuration; red paint with those black markings he has on his head for decals. He could either fly normally, or medachange into an aerial form that switches the mandibles to be forward-facing and allows them to shoot electricity.
Omedamon I think would be a great mega for either a DNA evolution of the Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon lines, or as the mega for Ballistamon and Atlur Ballistamon.
Ive said many times Medabots animation was ahead of its time. Pokemon Sun and Moon anime heavily reminded me of the Medabots anime with its Animation exaggerated expressions.
my biggest problem iwth medabots is that the first 2 generations have the best designs. ever since then, every game has had worse and worse designs. lets never forget the atrocity that was shingata medarot. its because they kept doing that shit that the series fumbled so hard. the worst part is, medarot had so much potential, being basically a jrpg version of front mission/armored core.

It's absolutely possible! The fact that the Digital World enables the aspects of alternate dimensions means essentially the choices are endless - as long as whatever crossover also agrees to that same principal of alternate dimensions, of course.
Imagine how “Ultra Space” from the Pokémon franchise interacts with the Digital World. (Imagine Mirei detecting Guzzlord popping out of an Ultra Wormhole) You also have Digital/Virtual life forms in the Porygon line. How would an Eevee evolve in a Digital environment? What would happen if a Digimon & Pokémon swapped energies. Would that effect their evolution lines?
The metabot version of wargreymon is also a plastic model kit called the wargreymon and metalgarurumon amolified. From the bandai figure-rise standard line.
I love both series! I still have my Medabotss Metabee/Rokusho GBA games. Completed the shit out of them many times. My favourite Medabot is Arcbeetle and you only kind of get him in them games. But its not truly him.
I really love all those designs, specially Omega knight and greywar. But I was never into those games. So my interaction with it was just really liking the visuals as a fan of both series. If they made a toy Omega Knight I would get it for sure
Digimon is actually pretty uniquely suited to crossover with tons of other franchises if they could just get their act together. Don't get me wrong, few series can poke my nostalgia button like Digimon can, but that nostalgia stops squarely after series 2, when we switched worlds and through everything we know and love out the window, and continued to do that over and over again thereafter. Shows like Pokemon are cultural staples because you had Ash and Pikachu right from the very start, and no matter which region they went to or who joined their crew, you knew the world, you knew the lore, you knew the main protagonist. Even now, with Pokemon choosing to follow a new protagonist, I'm pretty sure it's the same world, and even if it isn't they earned the right to reboot it after all these years. Ash's departure is something that adults, even ones that long since left the show behind, actually FEEL after all of these years, where Digimon just opted out of building anything that large. Pokemon went on to make games where you could follow your anime protagonist around in your own world with your own team, Digimon has stumbled to make any games with any lasting impressions that aren't overall fairly negative because they don't reflect the show at all. I believe Digimon is having a bit of a resurgence, going back to series 1 and 2 with things like Tri and the reboots, and if they can find a way to stick with it for more than 3 years they might get back into the groove of it. As for crossovers, any time they want to crossover anything else, they just have to make a Digimon character formed from the data of a popular series. Want to see the Dark Magician or Blue Eyes White Dragon as a Digimon (or how about Exodia)? They can just do that. It's built into the lore of their world. Hell, if they could get licensing deals with other companies they could do outrageous crossovers with any game franchise just by having evil Digimon break into those worlds. Digimon could have a whole season where Nintendo characts get Digimon counterparts to help fight evil Digimon that busted into the Smash Bros servers. Or the crossover that would have started all sorts of fights in 90's playgrounds, have Digimon invade Pokemon servers, have Digimon corrupting Bill's PC, forcing the Digital World to create Digified Pokemon to combat the threat. Pikamon, we could have Pikamon, Pikachu redesigned as a Digimon. The justifications are right there at their fingertips if they could just do it.
I know it would be impossible, but since all of them are part of the DiMcard serie, I’d like a crossover of Digimon, Medarot, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman.
I loved watching Medabots on RUclips back in the site's early days. My only gripe with the show was the overall ending where it seemed that the writers backed themselves into a corner and pulled the "It was always Aliens" card. I'm glad that most high-profile anime don't pull this shit anymore. *cough *Darling in the Franxx *cough *
I feel Medabots could work folded into Digimon. Have Medabots and Robattling be the pass time for young people in the real world. And with the Digimon being Data certain evil Digimon could hijack Medabots data to control them and try IRL conquest. So you could have adventures where both in the digital world and real world you have to fend off these threats.
Duuuude if ever that there will be a toy or PLAMO for this...auto buy for sure specially omegaknight. Imagine getting to build and pose something of a size similar to an MGEX frame with full articulation. That'd be the dream right there
If a digimons data was stored inside of a chip and used as the OS of a robot. I could see it working, they could even digivolve they could form new armor extensions made of hard light but they require photons to do it, the earths radiation would need to be enough to charge it or the bots would need to eat metal or scrap to materialize the new forms, the issue with this is that unlike radiation, material isn't always around to be eaten to there would be no round 2 but that could open the door for a lead duo . Maybe each bot has two evolution lines that use different emitters for the armor. It would still be digivolving since the data would also be changing but it would be more like armor digivolving, maybe shimmer digivolution or photon, luminous, shinning, or even glaring. The metal version would be something like adorn, material, or fabrication or something like that. (I typed this as i was about to go to sleep so sorry if it is lame and doesn't make sense.)

Omedamon I think would be a great mega for either a DNA evolution of the Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon lines, or as the mega for Ballistamon and Atlur Ballistamon.

Ive said many times Medabots animation was ahead of its time. Pokemon Sun and Moon anime heavily reminded me of the Medabots anime with its Animation exaggerated expressions.

my biggest problem iwth medabots is that the first 2 generations have the best designs. ever since then, every game has had worse and worse designs. lets never forget the atrocity that was shingata medarot. its because they kept doing that shit that the series fumbled so hard.
the worst part is, medarot had so much potential, being basically a jrpg version of front mission/armored core.

It's absolutely possible! The fact that the Digital World enables the aspects of alternate dimensions means essentially the choices are endless - as long as whatever crossover also agrees to that same principal of alternate dimensions, of course.
Imagine how “Ultra Space” from the Pokémon franchise interacts with the Digital World. (Imagine Mirei detecting Guzzlord popping out of an Ultra Wormhole)

I love both series! I still have my Medabotss Metabee/Rokusho GBA games. Completed the shit out of them many times. My favourite Medabot is Arcbeetle and you only kind of get him in them games. But its not truly him.

Digimon is actually pretty uniquely suited to crossover with tons of other franchises if they could just get their act together. Don't get me wrong, few series can poke my nostalgia button like Digimon can, but that nostalgia stops squarely after series 2, when we switched worlds and through everything we know and love out the window, and continued to do that over and over again thereafter. Shows like Pokemon are cultural staples because you had Ash and Pikachu right from the very start, and no matter which region they went to or who joined their crew, you knew the world, you knew the lore, you knew the main protagonist. Even now, with Pokemon choosing to follow a new protagonist, I'm pretty sure it's the same world, and even if it isn't they earned the right to reboot it after all these years. Ash's departure is something that adults, even ones that long since left the show behind, actually FEEL after all of these years, where Digimon just opted out of building anything that large. Pokemon went on to make games where you could follow your anime protagonist around in your own world with your own team, Digimon has stumbled to make any games with any lasting impressions that aren't overall fairly negative because they don't reflect the show at all. I believe Digimon is having a bit of a resurgence, going back to series 1 and 2 with things like Tri and the reboots, and if they can find a way to stick with it for more than 3 years they might get back into the groove of it. As for crossovers, any time they want to crossover anything else, they just have to make a Digimon character formed from the data of a popular series. Want to see the Dark Magician or Blue Eyes White Dragon as a Digimon (or how about Exodia)? They can just do that. It's built into the lore of their world. Hell, if they could get licensing deals with other companies they could do outrageous crossovers with any game franchise just by having evil Digimon break into those worlds. Digimon could have a whole season where Nintendo characts get Digimon counterparts to help fight evil Digimon that busted into the Smash Bros servers. Or the crossover that would have started all sorts of fights in 90's playgrounds, have Digimon invade Pokemon servers, have Digimon corrupting Bill's PC, forcing the Digital World to create Digified Pokemon to combat the threat. Pikamon, we could have Pikamon, Pikachu redesigned as a Digimon. The justifications are right there at their fingertips if they could just do it.

My only gripe with the show was the overall ending where it seemed that the writers backed themselves into a corner and pulled the "It was always Aliens" card.

I feel Medabots could work folded into Digimon. Have Medabots and Robattling be the pass time for young people in the real world. And with the Digimon being Data certain evil Digimon could hijack Medabots data to control them and try IRL conquest. So you could have adventures where both in the digital world and real world you have to fend off these threats.
That sounds like a plot the Super robot taisen games would do.

Nice medabots and Digimon that's cool I love both series
If a digimons data was stored inside of a chip and used as the OS of a robot. I could see it working, they could even digivolve they could form new armor extensions made of hard light but they require photons to do it, the earths radiation would need to be enough to charge it or the bots would need to eat metal or scrap to materialize the new forms, the issue with this is that unlike radiation, material isn't always around to be eaten to there would be no round 2 but that could open the door for a lead duo . Maybe each bot has two evolution lines that use different emitters for the armor. It would still be digivolving since the data would also be changing but it would be more like armor digivolving, maybe shimmer digivolution or photon, luminous, shinning, or even glaring. The metal version would be something like adorn, material, or fabrication or something like that. (I typed this as i was about to go to sleep so sorry if it is lame and doesn't make sense.)
