I feel comfortable carrying, using, and often abusing my Para3, Bugout, and similar priced knives. I still have a difficult time EDC a $500 knife. I do have a few but if I scratch them, I feel like crying.
I have the 20cv 3.5 and it got sent off to BGM for a hollow grind! Night and day difference when u have it with a hollow grind. Of course this vid was a year ago and Mcnees does a hollow on them all now. This one has had allot of custom work and it’s my main edc. I carry my 3.5 as my main carry and my 3 inch for secondary. About to send the 3 inch in for a hollow grind to. It’s a 20cv version as well.
These are definitely built to be a hard use knife. The blade stock is thick and the newer ones are hollow ground with magnacut obviously. I switch my work knives (metal fabrication/welding) up between the mac2, my smf and a couple other American made knives. The mcnees is one of those bomb proof, insanely solid knives. I’d liken it to an SnG.
What are you doing with it is the question. If it’s going to get pretty dirty and hard use stick with the CRK, the washers go a long way. If it’s going to to be day to day normal use and if you play a lot with your knives get the Mcnees hands down.
The action sweet, the aesthetics amazing, the sound freakin awesome! Thanks for doing this one.

I use mine but I don’t use them as hard usually, with a few exceptions, but I definitely hear you on that.
I use the shit out of mine. That’s what they are for lol. Think of it like a woman. If you don’t get it someone else will 😂

It’s actually titanium. I assume they use a dremel or something similar to achieve the finish.
I love mine!

Silky smooth > guillotine. We prefer to keep our fingers around here
The stop pin on that looks so anemic, I wonder if you can snap/bend it with enough downward force on blade
That is smooth!
Looking to make my first $400+ knife purchase. What do you recommend? The McNees Mac or a CRK?

Where you get those scales for the mini grip?
It came that way. It was a limited edition
Screws threaded into Ti is a definite Nogo. Bad call.
