Please help me, I had been trying to do your program, but it's been really painful an ice already thrown my back out once this week. I don't know how to do this without risking injury, I'm to scared to get hurt but too ashamed to stop trying...
Just a tip for people who want to get there splits, you can't just do one tiny stretch a week, you HAVE to stretch EVERYDAY to see results! Last year a stretched for the whole summer each day and got my splits and even middle splits, i also now can do a bridge and this year i learnt how to go onto my ebows in bridge which was a real achievement for me! Whatever you're working for keep at it because it's all worth it in the end! A YEAR LATER: Hi I'm back, it's been a year and not much has changed through my flexibility journey as I've become rlly busy and lost all motivation during lockdown and corona. (Kept up daily stretches tho) I'm re-gaining my motivation and i hope by the end of next year I'll achieve a leg hold, over splits and a walkover. Remember everyones goals are different depending on body type and age so don't feel disheartened if someone is better than you because i know I'm not the best but i just want what's best for my body and that's what I've learnt. Love what you can do
@@pixelpeach193 Some of these stretches will help but if your main focus is mainly middle splits then i suggest you do Alivia D'andreas intense middle split routine, it helped me SOOO much! Do it eveyday and within a week you'll see results :)
Just finished today's workout and checking this one as a preparation. Yay, we're almost done with our first week! I'm so proud of all of us who are keeping it up. We've been taking care of our bodies and spending hours to get healthier, stronger and feel better. You are great and you can finish this 28-day challenge! Don't give up :з
So as weird as this will sound, at 52 yo I have decided to get my splits. It all started with a high colesterol warning from my doctor. I started exercising and stretching daily with one day rest. Nothing too crazy. And now I am determined to get flexible for health and mobility. I started stretching for splits two weeks ago. Although I am not closer to the floor, I am now confortable where I am. Not dying like when I started… I guess that’s improvement. Determination and consistency. I will get there if it takes me a year.
I have been doing this video once a week for quite a while now, but every time I open it up, or start any of the other Summer Sculpt videos, when the intro song starts playing its catchy tune my mind is flooded with nostalgia from this past summer~ my first summer married, a summer spent living and working at my church, and, most of all, it is a sensory reminder of how this 28-Day Summer Sculpt began my re-introduction back into my own fitness journey, and how proud of myself I was when it was done! How strong I felt, encouraged I felt... Amazing. So, for anyone out there looking for some motivation to begin your own journey, and you start these videos, and they kick your butt the first few times (They certainly kicked mine!!), I would just say, don't give up! And if you don't, someday, you too will look back with fondness at these sweaty memories, and be amazed and in awe of how far you--yes, you!--can come, if you just don't give up. (Thanks for this awesome series, Cassey! You're one of a kind. [The best kind.])
@@LizLaughandLove But is it effective? Did it give you some results in terms of toned muscles? Because in the end, it's only 20 min the intense part of the workout
I can’t believe how close she got me to the spilts 😮 I was nowhere near the spilts and by the end of one of her videos, I was 2cm away from the spits😮😊 Thank you so much ☺️
I think you overestimate my level of flexibility. I honestly have ZERO flexibility, so hopefully by the end of these 28 days, I can move up to 1% of flexibility, lol.
Yes me too. It's quite hard for me. But today is my 3times of this routine and I did better split!!! Not good yet, but better. Hope to hear about your split too.
I found this quite difficult because my legs are not flexible at all but it feels so good to stretch. All the tension in my body just releases which is really nice.
For anyone who wonders if this can help them with the splits, the answer is yes. I made a bet with my friends, and I had 4 months to do the split. I have been watching tons of videos, not seeing much progress. Two or three weeks before the bet was up, I started following this one, about 5 times week, and I got results super fast. I went from about 15 cm above the ground to 0 in a matter of two/three weeks. This is a great video to follow.
I've never been able to get even close to doing splits but I'm on week 4 of this and I can almost do them on my left side! Plus my pike has gotten so much better since starting this summer sculpt!
I keep doing this routine every other night before bed and honestly this is one of the best I've seen for the splits! I already have my left splits down but my right splits need a lot of work still but I'm already starting to notice improvements. I like how you really let us take our time to get in to each stretch in this routine and talk us through the whole process.
I'm working on my flexibility for dance. Do this routine everyday and your flexibility will increase. I know it seems excessive but that's really the only way to dramatically increase your flexibility.
missingfrombrooklyn be honest, is this routine enough to do everyday to eventually get ur splits? i genuinely dont mind doing more, my usual routine is about 45mins so idm doing more. ive only recently switched it to this routine to try something different as my progress is slowing down abit
@@NeonPinkClouds I stretch about 5 Times a week for around 30 minutes and my flexibility increased so much. For me it works best to switch between different "routines". This might not work for everyone, but maybe you can Just try something different
i was very flexible as a kid, as most kids are. i took pride in it. when i was 15 i was in a serious car accident and broke my hip in multiple places. after healing, i tried gaining back my flexibility and working out. it was very difficult but by the time i did and was feeling so good in my body.. i was in another car accident (18 years old) resulting in a serious case of whiplash, displacing my vertebra. i also have had problems with my knees. it's been a struggle trying so hard only to be put back at the start again. i am 20 now, trying to gain it all back using these videos. it's defeating to try stretching my body and seeing how far behind i am. i just need to remind myself that I'll get there, that my body knows it's limits and i need to not push them too hard, just enough to grow over time. i have my wedding in a few months and wanted to get in shape before that. I'll be doing this routine until then but my own way. instead of doing it by the day on the video, I'm going to do it five times a week for a few months. i hope this is inspiring to anyone else who is struggling. losing it all.. is hard. but i know I'll get it back if i don't give up.

Luckily I can already do the splits from gymnastics, but excited to stretch out! Does anyone remember the Call Me Maybe squat challenge? So many years ago but I remember that video from a time years ago that I was starting to try to become strong to make it through my life threatening anorexia and depression (I’m completely better now, hallelujah!!). I switched my focus to numbers of strength over numbers on the scale. I am a great fan but I hardly do my stretches as I don’t have time. I am more of the work hard and sweat type. Anyway, I finally made myself do this and I truly can understand how you can do an hour and a half of stretches. When you were doing your last stretch, you mentioned that it was the last one in the workout. I thought, “already? I barely started. I want more!” I feel great after this workout. Thank Casey!
I am a bit of a beginners on this taking my time, but it is helping out, stretching out my hamstrings of my leg so I will be a little bit better for me to move
I was a gymnast for 12 years but could never could my bad leg split all the way down for more than 10 seconds. Today I finally pushed myself to hold it for the whole minute, and I did!!
I barely can't do the splits yet after 3 days but I'm stilling pushing myself I realky don't wahtvtoninjure any of my bones but I tried it but I try my best to follow these instructions so I don't hurt myself
As for a 12 yr old, stretching has definitely helped me with flexibility. I wasn't really flexible before and so, stretching for 1-2 months has helped me achieve so much such as touching my toes, grabbing onto one foot in a straddle, almost a split, A floor backbend, less pain, flexible hips (don't have my middle split yet), flexible legs, arms, shoulders, flexible back etc! Just some tips for those who plan on stretching. 1: be CONSISTENT. Without consistency, your flexibility will indeed fail! You will become discouraged because I have once too. 2: don't compare! Comparing will also discourage you and you'll lose motivation. 3: don't be upset if you aren't as flexible as others, everyone has their time in which they'd become flexible. 4: never give up! I believe in you
Hey team April 2020! I am about as flexible as a spade, but still really enjoyed this one. George is star. Sorry Cassey... I sat pretty much just sat in awe as you did the splits..... Everyone else who made it through so far, time for a banana spilt (minus the banana).
Week 1, day 6! My right leg is definitely more flexible than my left... Doing this in the afternoon cause I'm way too stiff in the morning😅 Week 2, day 13!! Week 3, day 20! Almost done with week 3! Week 4, day 27! Getting closer and closer!!
Ahhhhhh, I've been procrastinating on my workouts. Do you think it would be better to skip the ones I've missed or do them alongside the workouts that are still to come?
I agree with Ema. I think you should start from the beginning because I think it's more encouraging that way than to stress yourself out starting from the middle or the end missing workouts.
July 16,it's been a while that I'm doing intense hamstring , quad ,hip opening ,lower back stretches (from Adison Briana) and I'm feeling pretty flexible in that straddle 😄like very close to my middle splits .

Week 4, did it!! I m going to continue this summer sculpt even though its coming to an end tomorrow. I really enjoyed myself for the 40mins work out every day and pushed myself more each day. Thank you Cassey 😘😘
Week 3 and I feel like I am getting better at this stretching thing. I need to do this more often. Maybe we should do some kind of challenge? 🤔
cassey has already done a month or streches challenge which you can find on her instagram or facebook page :)
I did the splits routine everyday and I got my splits within 2 weeks
i love this routine I got my splits in one week after watching this video and I have been working on my splits for a year now!! I come back to this video every week!
Wow 🤩 these Stretches are so amazing for my body.
A couple months ago, I started stretching for my splits. I watched a couple of your old videos to help me. When I finally did it I felt so accomplished! Thank you Cassey!
so nice! how long did it take you to get into the splits?
APony4 it took me 3 months of continuous stretching, thanks for asking!
JuJuBee 12 oh wow :)) that‘s my goal and i‘ve got about 10 cm left (i think that‘s about 4 inches haha) so it might take some time! thank you for answering ☺️
Bro I came here to stretch not fall in love with your dog😂😂❤❤❤
Make sure you are warmed up before you stretch or you could hurt yourself. These stretches are great though!! Keep it up❤️❤️
I did these after my workout (hiit plus 'legs on fire'. Though I took it easy because I'm not flexible at all😅
you made me get my splits in one day. you are AMAZING thank you so much!!!!!
Just found this and loved it thankyou, George is to funny ❤️🤣
Gotta do this every week from now on ♥️ can’t believe that I’m near the end of the challenge 💪🏻
The way you encourage is the best. While doing the workout I just want to give up but I finished it because of how you keep on encouraging. Love you so much ❤
31st January 2021 📺
1st month of 2021 complete, but UK is back in lockdown and this months challenges have been shorter so fingers crossed for being able to up the calendars as we go back to full calendars 🤞
Omg this really helps me to get my splits thank you so much...all my life I wanted to split and this helped me alot
This is helping so much love it.❤❤❤
Thank you .
Yayy! Just finished day 5 and my thighs are so sore, but I feel so proud of myself and all of us who are doing this challenge!
I loved today's workout, can't wait to do those tomorrow morning ❤❤❤
I am a bit of a beginners on this taking my time, but it is helping out, stretching out my hamstrings of my leg so I will be a little bit better for me to move
George is a perfect representation of my mind while I'm trying to focus on stretching!
I was a gymnast for 12 years but could never could my bad leg split all the way down for more than 10 seconds. Today I finally pushed myself to hold it for the whole minute, and I did!!
While doing this ...I discovered that I could do a full split....I never knew that ....
and These stretches are sooo soooo Good ....Love them all..
Started this series in lockdown at still going strong! Cassie , thank you for being such a motivational trainer and a role model for us all
I’m in middle school and I’m going to cheer for Highschool SO I NEED THIS -2024
Been doing this video nearly every day since July (fell off the bandwagon a couple times, but nbd), and I just got my first split!
thank you sir george, your absolute adorableness plus cassey's enthusiasm really get me through each and every workout!
This one is soo amazing!!! I felt so good during the stretches :)
This was an excellent demonstration! Thank you
I barely can't do the splits yet after 3 days but I'm stilling pushing myself
I realky don't wahtvtoninjure any of my bones but I tried it but I try my best to follow these instructions so I don't hurt myself
And im a boy which could be a problem idk
I believe in you
god bless her, she's so patient with her dog i would've just put him in my room halfway through lol
April 23, doing straddle is my favorite part as I'm getting more flexible 😄.
Thanks so much for this video! I felt so powerful as I was dying while trying to go all the way down at the end!
Hey team April 2020! I am about as flexible as a spade, but still really enjoyed this one. George is star. Sorry Cassey... I sat pretty much just sat in awe as you did the splits..... Everyone else who made it through so far, time for a banana spilt (minus the banana).
I am very close to my splits and I will try this exercise everyday. Then I can get my splits. Thank you for making this video
I LOVE Sir George!! wish he could be my workout buddy
I feel the fact that George won't leave you alone in my soul
I have a toddler who insist on doing these with me and it is maddening lol
After 3 months i can do this split perfectly! 😍
Thank you ! 🤩
Thank you so much for all your workout videos they've really helped me and my friends a lot!!!
Thank you! I'm so ready for tomorrow now 😘 Let's go!
Love this stretching routine! Thank you so much. I will definitely be doing this regularly :-)
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I DID THIS FOR 1 WEEK AND I FINALLY CAN DO THE SPLITS I LOVE YOU 🥺💋💋
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH U HAVE HELPED ME SO WELL!!!!! IM GOING TO WATCH U EVERYDAY SO I CAN JUST BE AS GOOD AS YOU!!!!!
Week 1, day 6! My right leg is definitely more flexible than my left... Doing this in the afternoon cause I'm way too stiff in the morning😅
Week 2, day 13!!
Week 3, day 20! Almost done with week 3!
Week 4, day 27! Getting closer and closer!!
Ahhhhhh, I've been procrastinating on my workouts. Do you think it would be better to skip the ones I've missed or do them alongside the workouts that are still to come?
I think you should start from the beginning. I believe in you. You can do it❤
I agree with Ema. I think you should start from the beginning because I think it's more encouraging that way than to stress yourself out starting from the middle or the end missing workouts.
This stretch was intense and all kinds of amazing! Plus, Sir George provided THE BEST comedic relief. I literally laughed out loud. 🤗🤗🤗
July 16,it's been a while that I'm doing intense hamstring , quad ,hip opening ,lower back stretches (from Adison Briana) and I'm feeling pretty flexible in that straddle 😄like very close to my middle splits .
I got so far into splits 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sir George is adorable. I never thought I could do a split. I am almost there! Thank you.
OML. OMG. HOW?!? YOUR SOOOO LIKE SUCH A GOOD TEACHER I CAN ALMOST DO A SPLIT NOW TYSM TYSM TYSM TYSM TYSM TYSM I COULD EVEN SAY THAT 100,000,000 TIMES TYSM FOR TEACHING ME AND ALSO THE DOG WAS SOOOOOO CUTE!! :3
Skipped out on my friday workout yesterday... so I'm doing both today. Wish me luck xDD
Goodluck!!😊
Same! I'm so sore
U wrote this comment 6 months ago so did u do the splits ?
Your comment motivated me to workout instead of using my period pain as an excuse for skipping todays routine! Thanks :)
Feb 19,when we go in middle splits directly (without changing it) from side splits...helps a lot to stretch even more ✌️.
I have my splits. From when I am 9. Like I am soo flexible from when I born and I am very. Happy and proud of that.
Omg you helped me a lot I watched all videos of split but it didn’t help thank you soo much got bless you
I’m so grateful for the stretches videos, they have helped me soo much!
