  • Thank you for joining us on this trip report!
I’m returning to Amsterdam from Toronto with Air Canada this time. It’s my first time flying with them in just over 10 years. There are a lot of noticable changes.
It’s a slightly less thorough video as I was exhausted and the weather did not cooperate.
You can nevertheless find most of the great stuff that is waiting for you at Air Canada!
Today we are showcasing you the following flight:
From: Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada.
To: Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Kingdom of The Netherlands.
    Flight Number: AC826
    Aircraft Type: Boeing B787-8
    Registration: C-GHPY
    Flight Time: 06:52
Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed our video!
Feel free to leave a comment with your opinion and feedback.
    Have a nice one!

Thanks for the great video. Glad to know AC is that good. That celeriac salad looked very good. I love celeriac. First time I had was on JAL NRT to ANC First Class. I just never see it anywhere in American unless I buy it at the store and prepare it myself. It did look a tad dry.

    • @TheLayoverAviation
      @TheLayoverAviation  2 года назад

Mr. Clooney, nice seeing you around again!
Yes, celeriac salad is not a very common thing to see.
Jal NRT to ANC, wow! Was it the aircraft with the sleeping beds? I was just recently told by someone that Jal had that.
In Dutch cuisine celeriac is widely used. If you find some, make a “Dutch Pea Soup”. It has lots of celeriac and is to die for!

At 2:33 you give details about the IFE in 18A. I noticed a screen mounted on the bulkhead in front 18C
Any comment on what that is or what that IFE screen is like?
As I see 18A the IFE pops up from in between seats , but C is an aisle.

      Thanks!
Well, it might seem so, but no! It would take me a scientist to explain this.
We’re kind of riding this “wave” of wind which pushes us, so airspeed wise we’re just going around 900km/h. The ground speed is indeed close to the speed of sound. But not the plane. Tough to explain!
