General Tips: This boss only uses orbs/laser attacks and never melee. The path to this boss is even more annoying than the path to the 2nd boss. Fortunately, you can skip the 2nd world completely each time and go straight from the 1st to the 3rd world. Because it's a long-distance fight you shouldn't use shotguns here, a pistol or carbine will be best.
Phase 1: All you need to do here is move left until you hit the edge, then move right until you hit the edge. Keep moving left and right to the edge and you should easily avoid all of the orbs that come from the main boss. The boss looks like a rock / mountain. You must shoot the red glowing piece on his "chest" (the middle part of him). It's really easy to hit him, so just focus on evading the incoming projectiles and keep shooting. From time to time his minions on the sides will use yellow lasers but they only sweep a small part of the floor and you can easily evade them by moving sideways.
Phase 2: At the start of this phase the floor will crumble. Look in which direction his 4 minions are spawning (flying demonic creatures), the main boss will spawn where they are (random each time). Get to the platform closest to these 4 minions and wait for the boss to appear. Stay on that same platform for the entire phase, no need to jump around platforms. Do what you did before, just moving left and right to the edge of the platform. This phase is similar to the first. The main differences are two attacks by the demonic creatures - they can sweep a yellow laser left and right, and you must dodge through the laser to evade it (be careful, the laser will come back a 2nd time so you must dodge each laser 2 times total). Dodging grants you a moment of invulnerability so the lasers won't hurt you when you dodge through them. Be sure to do a long dodge by holding :circle: and dodge about 2 seconds before the end of the laser is visible on your screen. Dodging early enough is important here, it's better to dodge early than trying to time it till the last second. Don't do short dodges because your window of invulnerability is smaller on those. A second attack by the demons is that they shoot their laser on the floor which creates multiple red rings that get bigger, you must :x: jump to not get hit.
Phase 3: The 3rd phase is where it gets confusing. First you will be in the air - it looks like you're stuck in the air or floating, but you're actually falling. Immediately look down and grab on to the platforms below when you see them! It's important to be aware of this so you don't fall too far down. Now many more floating platforms spawn and the boss will be in the distance. Whenever the demonic creatures or the boss shoot something at you, grapple on to the next platform to get closer to the boss. While you grapple to another platform you are invulnerable! Constantly be on the lookout for the next platform to grapple to, shoot the boss (red piece on his chest), and when the demonic creatures or the boss shoot at you then grapple to that next platform. Rinse and repeat until you get close to the boss. When you get really close to him, the demonic creatures no longer use their lasers but the boss will shoot more orbs at you. Eventually, he will kick you back into the air and you'll be falling again and must fall onto a new platform. Then you must repeat the cycle, trying to get closer to the boss again. He has a ton of health here. Ideally you haven't used up your health item until the 3rd phase. If you have your health item left you should be fine. Really try to avoid the yellow lasers from the demonic creatures though, because those deal the most damage here. As soon as you see them charging up their laser (they will glow yellow), you should get ready to grapple to the next platform to get out of harm's way.

Then how did you defeat the one before this one, ixion or oxion or whatever his name is, the one that has wings and can fly? This one was much much easier

@@killerpownz nope...you get acivement for getting 200% hp (or suit integrity) but you can go over. I come with 285% integrity and lvl 15 weapon with all 3 traits unlocked.

@@SunKing714 honestly the fights not too bad in phases 1 and 2. It's phase 3 that's a bit crap as you constantly have to jump to platforms. But with that many heals, it'll be no problem for you

God Of War Valkyries were like that for me lol. I try to avoid challenging games in general but that ends up being all I play even if I don't bother playing Souls like games.
ok i have 2x the health, a large and small heal, auto heal on low hp, hp leech, and a revive. I still feel under prepped : )

Just beat this boss, what a battle, especially that 3rd phase. This video was INCREDIBLY helpful, getting to him in good shape and with a few healing items is the hardest part.
Too true. I had 4 2-hour runs today that didn't quite make the cut. Just got Nemesis down to the last 15% and died... gonna go again tomorrow.
I just got to him still same run that got me through second biome but I'm literally one hit away from dieing.
Is there a shortcut up top like there was in the 2nd biome?
I actually had an easy time in his last phase, don't be scared to jump off the platforms if you think you'll get hit and then grapple to a new one, you can't get hit during the grapple.
@@Jason-gy2ux yeah I'm in the 4th biome now and realized this on the run when I finally beat them. Had a parasite that gave 25% chance to not lose a consumable on use, so I just bought 3 Silphium containers and was able to do it!

I beat Nemesis first try. But he’s definitely the most visually stunning boss period. The scale, particle galore, beam frenzy, platform jumping among the vastness and of course the sound make it an exquisite choreography to behold!

Meanwhile this boss looks like something straight out of a zdzisław beksiński painting. Look I love me a good Souls game just like everybody else but you can't honestly tell me that a balrog with a napolean complex looks better than this masterpiece.

I was thinking the same thing! It just doesn’t look like there is nearly as much going on in his game in comparison to my game. Just went in with suit integrity at 281% and still got wrecked in phase three.

I literally just just fought him for the first time. 2nd phase is alot crazier. And of course I died on the third.. Ffs. 😂
I can’t believe it but I killed him on my first try! I used the carbine and had a parasite that heals if you get too low. I just dodged if i got low and jumped off of the platforms in the third phase whenever the boss shot too much at me. Good luck fellas!
I had this parasite too. Had a great run with it and basically got from Area 3 to Area 5 without dying. 2 Bosses first try :D
About to jump into this fight for the first time after struggling through the stage itself for the entire day... I’ll take that good luck your sending and kick this guys ass (I hope)

Same here, and yet it felt anything but easy! It was so well mechanically designed, but I had 300% integrity and lifesteal so I got lucky!
Hollowseeker gun is better for this boss
That third phase were you have to grapple towards floating platforms is just really cool. Def one of the best bosses of the game

You make it seem so easy. Been stuck here for a few days. I see what I been doing wrong. I thought I had to get close to deal damage. Now I see that I can shoot and work my way up.
For those struggling, try entering this fight with the Rotgland Lobber. It deals massive damage to Nemesis, especially with damage multiplying artifacts and parasites.
I've just defeated it with this weapon!! Totally agree with you, is one of the best options

This boss was soo tough but so much freaking fun! Everytime I lost I was left with a smile on how visually stunning it was. It took me 4 tries but I finally got it and was ultimately satifiying. This is the best game I played in a WHILEE.
The third phase tripped me up twice. If you get too close he pushes you the whole way back.
I made it just now. First try. Use reflex consumables that slow down time for the third phase. Lvl your health up to 300% and you'll never die. Lvl weapon proficiency up to max lvl 15. Use the thermogenic launcher with void beam (when you're far away use void beam to hit the red spot on him). Use logs of artifacts for healing gun damage and protection. Currently protection is at 40%, weapon damage 50%< proficiency rate only 115%, repair efficiency 25% and alt fire cool down -6s. I'm a pretty shitty player. I barely dodged. Took lots of hits and I killed him with those stats. The game is only hard when you don't take your time lvling up your character unless you are as good as the guy in the video lol.
Beat this first try with the hollowseeeker, 250% HP, and 4 silphium vials. Had 5 parasites going on to heal me at low HP and also protection parasites. My weapon was a peashooter so this fight took at least 15 minutes. Used all of my heals too, what a boss

My strategy for the 3rd phase ended up being just zipping back and forth between the platforms while occassionally firing my super weapon.

Yeah, my first encounter with him was with the shotgun. Needless to say I didn't do much damage since the bullets don't reach that far. I you do this, take a weapon with range capabilities with you.

I used the Seeker gun +15 with honing projectiles. It was so bad against this boss. And the area before is so hard...
Same… my biggest regret is picking that gun up. I had 2 health vials and one extra life and still didn’t make it because of that stupid gun.

Yesterday I beat this boss with rocket launcher. I was some kind of OP with +25% defense and +20% damage. Only one little heal item needed.

I had the seeker too but got saved by the long range rail driver special! Was a godsend in the third phase

I actually like this more with no music! It makes it feel scarier and Nemesis feel more powerful somehow.

The new update has made this boss much harder. Firewall on first phase. Way more things going on on the second phase than this fight. 3rd might still the same idk. I had a rotgland lobber with an artifact that shortened alt fire on successful overload and finally beat this guy.
This is what I did to make this a cake walk. Had the parasite that gave you a 20% chance of keeping consumable. Another artifact that improves the good parts of a parasite. Also had an artifact that gave you health depending on your adrenaline level. And lastly had had one consumable be a health and the other an auto adrenaline level 5.

Before entering battle; i had two large silphiums, two minor silphiums, a very very extended health bar and i’ve watched two guidance videos to prepare for what was coming, and i managed to beat the boss in my first try. I used hollowseeker and I didn’t play that well, only holding on to silphiums, and did a lot of grappling. ‘Cause when grappling, you somehow manage to escape getting hit. The key here is to stay calm and having as many silphiums as possible.
One very important thing to note. Your going to need a level 15 weapon before you fight this boss. Otherwise your wasting your time. You won't do enough damage. I finally got past this boss after my fifth attempt.
Are you sure? If you use Hollowseeker any level won't do enough damage. With other wepons the lvl doesn't matter so much.
After almost 20 deaths completed this boss. Easily one of the most challenging bosses I have ever faced.
After many attempts, the most suitable weapon for me was the Electropylon Driver. You can consentrate to dashing and avoiding and you have a better perception of the fight. The pylons do the work for you when you are occupied avoiding attacks.
I’m hoping to get that gun for when I take on Hyperion

I died after playing for 2 hours to get there because I used the hollowseeker and for some reason was just absolutely terrible against this boss

After beating this boss the pace of the game changes considerably...becomes more enjoyable as weapons get crazier and more fun! took me so many goes to get past biome 3 and mostly because of the kamikaze drones...enjoying the gane again now!

I beat this boss the first try. I was scared out of my mind! I got lucky and literally screamed at the top of my lungs after i beat this boss with little life left.

Tip: open the blue locked doors(before the battle) with keys . There are awesome things in them

I managed to beat the 2nd boss and Nemesis in the same run!
I has to use a reconstructor to get a 2nd shot at the Winged Guy but Nemesis i bagged on my first try with just a hit of HP left.

I really struggled on the first boss. Just stick with the game and really focus on learning attack patterns. Also get as much suit integrity as your run allows, that was my primary focus on this 2 boss run and it carried me greatly.
Beat this boss 1st try BLIND no heals and no revive, but it was so close. Had the auto-heal at low hp, otherwise I would have died. Such an intense game!!
Beat him on my first try...I found going from biome 2 to 3 not 1-3 is the trick. Felt much easier getting to the boss and I felt OP by the time I got to him from all the goodies in biome 1 and 2. Don’t skip out on biome 2 peeps. Take the short cut and skip the biome 2 boss though ;)
I had 3 little healt items, one big and a second chance item. I accidently wasted the big heal item but I still got him without using my second chance item. What a epic boss!

I went into this with the spitmaw and the 3rd phase was impossible
I basically only use the Hollowseeker, and if it has Retarget + Serrated then I am SET. Rounds deal damage over time and rounds deflect to a second target.

I just fought this boss with lvl 15 max proficiency, and a health bar double this. Maybe even triple. 6 heals, and 1 large heal, and a astronaut. 4 parasites, and lots of damage buffs. A 5 hour run through biomes 1-3 and died on the bosses 3rd phase. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ thx for showing me how much I suck.

Finally beat nemesis after watching YT videos. I brought astronaut, 1 large health vial and 2 small health vials and I beat him with me having 5% health left and nearly I had a heart attack.
I'm glad I watched this video. I just about started this fight with the Spitmaw
I got so lucky and got a run that really popped off which let me beat boss 2 and then barely squeak out a win against this boss first try, I really don't think I'd be able to replicate that sort of luck ever again if I tried.

The Rotgland Lobber worked amazingly well for me with this boss! The damage is over time, so you can shoot, shoot, dodge, dodge and have steady damage going on him almost 100% of the time. The range is a bit weak for the 3rd phase, just aim further up and work your way closer to the boss.
Popped off when I beat this boss, few games other than From Software ones can give that rush

Aside from the tutorial death I somehow beat the entire first act without dying. This boss got me really close though. Would’ve died without the healing when close to death parasite. This fight was awesome. I still need to do the last 2 levels but I don’t know how this gets topped.

Lvl yo your health to 300% which is max. Do the same for weapon proficiency (lvl 15). Get artifacts that up gun damage suit repair and so on. Get the reflex consumable where you can slow down time for the third phase. Get lots of healing consumables.

That setup is a carbine with the high caliber perk.
the energy shield works well for this boss, but I'm just not the type that can get through a fight unscathed in this game.
Almost got him on 2nd attempt... but I had a shotgun... forgot he was at range and so I was doing no damage but managed to get him halfway on his last life bar... Next time I'll come better prepared!

El juego parece haber cambiado más de lo debido con su ultima actualizacion. Hemos comparado gente que lo juo de salida con algunos que tardas una semana y el resultado es diferente. Gente se paso el bioma 3 sin morir y este jefe a la primera, y los postparche nos encontramos con mucha más dificultad. Creo que no es algo casual.

Hey, is it just me having this battle much harder than this video? It was quite different, during the first phase there were faster red projectiles, not those slow blu balls... I saw this video and started the fight thinking "ok, just move left and right and I will be ok, even no need to run or sprint..". I was completely fu*** up :D:D:D:D
