Why not cement the pond and all the algae n snals will die. A good drainage design will enable repeat cultivalion and hygienic operation. Just a suggestion. Indian farmers had a centre discharge channel and I saw the whole pond was covered by hdpe tarpaulin which can be replaced sooner or later. I cannot verify what I had said. Anyway keep it up if the outdoor pond is an asset and alternative development for indoor shrimp farming. Correct me if I had wrong idea.

Hdpe liner initially costs more money. But then again, cheaper in the long run because more efficient in filtering and next cycle preparation.
