    Really like the second appartment and love the multi-level outdoor spaces. Room sizes are good, love that it has in-unit laundry and nice large windows.
    Not so sure on the first one because of the below sidewalk level outdoor space - could see that getting lots of garbage tossed in not to mention the rain and snow it could hold.

      Yeah, there are more slobs than ever before. Can't understand people throwing garbage out of their car windows or eating something in the street and then tossing the wrapper on the ground. I don't know where these people were brought up but obviously not in a good home.

I wish you would come back once it’s completed & show us the finish results. How is this luxury townhouse rent cheaper then the rent of that horrible apartment you showed yesterday 🤔???? Compared to the place we saw in Williamsburg this 2 bedroom is definitely worth the $$. Just not a fan of the lower level "patio" right by the public sidewalk where people can throw their garbage & whatever else on you. The 3 bedroom outdoor area is easy nicer but does it justify an additional $3k & 1 additional bedroom? Amenities are nice but who cleans the grills, etc on the roof deck?

    • @FrankiesFancy
      @FrankiesFancy 2 года назад +4

      I would suspect that people who use the grills would clean up after themselves. Or since they have so much money to spend on that place every month, maybe they hire someone to do it?

    • @MzClementine
      @MzClementine 2 года назад +1

      @@FrankiesFancy yes but I completely understand where he's going with that. Do you know what kind of trash could wind up on your precious chairs or anything you have sitting below? A needle perhaps that you walk outside and don't see. Literally. Oh my. It could be really nasty. I don't want to say put one of those I don't know what they're called but they're it's a sun shade but you can get sun through it. So basically it's like a screen normally they come triangular or square. God I'd have to do some investigating to find it but. I don't need it or don't want it. Literally some kind of partition that would keep from others throwing junk into your living spaces. Whether they're outside, that you could accidentally bring back in.

    Hmm... I actually liked the $5800/month rental unit and thought it good value for what you get. My only concern would be a fear that a pedestrian(s) walking by would wantonly toss garbage (ie a glass bottle) over the fencing into that cavern area. While the $10K rental unit is very nice too... c'mon now... I ain't payin' $10K/month to rent. That's a non-starter.

      @@MamaCarola1 Ya know... I actually spent about 10-15 minutes yesterday looking at 1-3 star hotels. The most expensive one was $180/night versus that $7K/month ($233/night) monstrosity shown yesterday. Before I would even consider spending that type of money for that horrific unit I'd live in a hotel (and you probably could get a long-term type deal) and save money for an apartment that I would like. In the hotel, you have a private bathroom--for most of them, heat and air conditioning, free internet/WiFi, some had small fridges, and BEST of all you have HOUSE CLEANING services! The Landlords of that awful unit are insane! LOL!! YES! We were thinking about the same issue regarding that underground patio!

    Even sharing, $2,900 to $3,000 each ain't cheap, but it's all brand new and the rooms (and kitchen) are a good size. In-unit laundry, in-building gym and rooftop deck are pluses. A good ten-minute hike to the subway. I'd be concerned about the subterranean rooms, totally dependent on the small drain in the outdoor patio - which is also subject to street trash. Do they provide a ladder from the patio for emergency escape?

    Compared to yesterdays horror apt, this is really, very very nice. It's unique, not the usual cookie cutter rooms, lots of interest, great minimalist design. Could I live here, or would I want to live here? Most definitely. My only concern would be the below ground space. It's unique but then again it's a catch-all for debris, snow, ice, water , etc. I don't know if it would be a deal breaker for me, probably not. Very nice neighborhood, and that's important.

Lastly though I feel your channel is embracing and endorsing the gentrification happing in Brooklyn! Who can afford $6k plus rent even with roommates!? I have family and friend that fell into real estate during the lock down and they even say "if people keep paying the rent, the rent just keeps rising." What happened to showing places that all NY'ers can live in???? Your work is amazing! Let me straighten out the fact that I won't stop watching you and you work super hard on this and it shows. But...but.. the places are "$$$$" out of reach of NY'ers. Mix it up and show the places that are affordable ( there's a lot but ugly I get it) and at least your not putting out the vibe that "Rich or ONLY ROOMMATES" can live and survive here! You did a video about lux condos going up and the lottery system. Do a bit more of that and I bet... Everyone would appreciate your amazing work just a bit more!!!!

    One of my biggest problems that I have now (after my complaint about slamming doors on appliances, which seems to have lessened) is the volume control on your editing.
    The music is so damn loud compared to your voice!
    Is there anyway you can equalize it in the editing so I don't have to keep hitting the mute button and then guessing when you will start talking to hear what you are saying?

    Totally off topic, but I really love your vlogging style. Reminds me of Casey Neistat both stylistically and just in terms of the flow. The way you show each apartment also just makes me want to move to NYC 😂

    Great unit with lots of outdoor space. Like the second one better due to more light in it. The price per month is a bit steep.

    I am like you and I cannot afford either one of them . But the pool idea was pretty cool.

    @2:43 "They should think about adjusting that picture." Well it's admirable that they show you a picture of what the product actually is(!) not some "click-bait" picture that doesn't represent what you'll actually get, allowing you to make an appropriate decision for yourself. Go Figure.

    The lower apartment gives me waterfall vibes on rainy days. May become a swimming pool...

    The outdoor space on the first apt...I think they call it an arboretum? Or it might have another name.....you could fill it with plants and make your own rain forest...a nice water fountain or small fishpond would be cool....with a waterfall ..the sound of water will relax you... keeping you from worrying about how to pay the rent..
