@bennyc500949 i think that the infinite ocean around the age's island is simply because it is easier to write a book on one island surrounded by sea, then it is write a book about a entire planet, the descriptive book would be huge!
It wasn't lava, it was water. It had weird chemical properties that combined with the instability in the age caused the oddly eroded formations.
Serenia could go half way though, since there is definitely ocean, but there are also large landmasses surrounding the island you're on.
There's also Relto, Eders Kemo, Delin, Gira, and Tsogal; Er'Cana, Toldelmer, Kadish Tolesa, and the Nexus. I really thought hard on that one.
The Voltaic book puzzle and the earlier puzzles in the Voltaic age were what made my dad and sister quit the entire Myst franchise. I kept going by cheating off strategy guides. I was kind of in it for the scenery anyway.
I don't know why I'm watching al these, it's kinda nice, sort of a film you go to but diffrent! I've played it once and I needed a tutorial to guide me through because I just didn't understand it at all! haha
can´t wait for the next vids...;)

@TheCandie87 I like the narration, too. In fact, I can't watch a playthrough of this game without Shady's commentary 'cause it creeps me out. This guy's funny.

I *HATED* the lantern puzzle so much the first time I played Myst III. I told myself I'd never replay the game again because it was such a pain.
