'I have to repeatedly take panties off day after day" ---OMG you make me laugh until I cry. You are the best!
I don’t know I just balled laughing reading this 😂😂😂 I don’t even know the things I say
Back in those days, whose bed couldn't Barry have parked his shoes under?
@Carol Lewis 😂😂😂😂
I was cracking up the entire time but this was definitely one of Mr. Video's best lines!
Let me publicly testify... my bed 100% back in the day, then Tom Selleck came along. Sorry Barry...bye! But I did think Barry was EVERTHAAAANG!
When I was little I asked my dad how the BeeGees could sing so high. He told me with a straight face that it was the tight pants and I believed him.
Hahahahahaha! Well, he wasn't wrong! 💖
:DDDDDD
😂😂😂 That's a great memory of your dad, I love it!!!

Lmao... great comment!! 🙉🙊🐵🐒🙈🇨🇦
Damn! You win! 😂😂😂😂
Perfect combination of shaking my head at a terrible joke and laughing my arse off. XD
Yup. Maurice(the one with the bald spot) died of sepsis(blood poisoning) due to a ruptured intestine, and Robin died of cancer🙁 🙏🏽. Barry, indeed, is the one stayin’ alive.
"This song was in all the black movies". This is why I love 70s music. You can't categorize that generation of music to color. It all just blended together like us as humans should. ♥️
Everything was on the right track in the seventies and then Reagan happened. It gets my blood boiling thinking about it.
Actually disco was for black and other minority communities until it became mainstream and ppl made money off it then white people did it. Like many modern music genres.
That is the absolute truth.
Talent has no color, it just exists or not.

Nope, that strut sneaks out. 😃

He looks like he’s going thru the five stages of grief in this in the best way possible lmao
Bro, for real! 😝 An emotionally journey! 🤣
Omg halarious 😂 it’s ok brother.

Trust me, Barry Gibb could bring that falsetto voice anywhere and steal everybody's woman back in the day. LOL

The lyrics are so funny....
Maybe someone already said this and it’s kinda random but Medics use this song to teach CPR to people cuz the timing/meter has the same count that we should use when giving someone CPR. Knowing that, it’s kinda cool that the song is called Stayin Alive!

He had the good Jesus hair. I was always jealous.
This was our music in the 70"s. I am SO happy that a new generation is noticing them. 😃

Barry Gibb needs to see this, he thought no one wanted to hear his music anymore or was even relevant. The article just came out in the Guardian called The Bee Gees Barry Gibb: "There's fame and there's ultra-fame-it can destroy you"
Omg are you serious? Their music to me is timeless it will always be relevant. Wish mister Barry Gibb knew how much many people still love their music.

I absolutely love your reaction to this song! "I was Mislead" Famous last words! Your happiness was contagious! This was about the most fun I ever saw you have with a song! Thank you for letting me share your joy!
No one can EVER accuse you of NOT feeling the music!!
Folk thought they were black when they did "Jive Talkin' ". The Bee Gees didn't know that jive was (kind of) black'ish
Fun Fact: This is the same rhythmic count when doing life saving Chest Compressions: stayin' alive, stayin' alive, huff, huff, huff, huff, stayin' alive
We used to do CPR class to "Stayin' Alive," but they upped compression rate to 120 and we used "Livin' on a Prayer."
How I learnt it

"First I was afraid, I was petrified-"
When I was seven years old, I had the most passionate crush on Barry Gibb, and god help me if it's not still in existence to this day. There is no manlier man than Barry Gibb singing "I'm going nowhere, somebody help me..." My love is true, and all encompassing.
We have to embrace diversity ... we f*cking love this song ... happy f*cking new year

LoL! Are these guys supposed to be together?
Bee Gees = Brothers Gibb
Barry Gibb
Robin Gibb
Maurice Gibb
*Edit: Oh, and they usually recorded together, gathered around one mic feeding off each other's energy and harmonizing.
Yes. Barry, Robin & Maurice/"Morris"
(fraternal twins) started singing harmony in 1955 at ages 9 & 6. They wrote their own songs, but could not read music. Barry [main lyricist] or Robin [haunting solo voice] usually sang lead; Mo was the music genius & harmonist. They're music legends. Mo [shortest] died in 2003/twisted intestine complication; Robin died in 2012/cancer. Barry [tallest] turned 74 on 9/1/2020, which also was his & Linda's 50th wedding anniversary. Barry continues to write.
Their youngest brother Andy (solo career) sang on a couple of songs with them. He has also passed away.
Don't forget about the youngest brother Andy Gibb
Barry is the only one still alive.
Nobody never remembers Andy Gibb 😢

Then watch Airplane and watch Robert Hays parody it.
I agree that "Saturday Night Fever" is a good movie to watch
Watching again- I tell ya- Barry sooo fine- however, THE walk.. was John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever- iconic --strutting down the streets of New York City walking to work ! HE got that strut the whole damn movie! And the dancing- OMG!! The scene back then was great music, dancing, sex- (no, the movie is not a porn) ,a bit of fighting.. it’s a must see- they knew how to party and get wild back then! The movie portrays it so well!! Bee Gees stands for Brothers Gibb. They're brothers, last name Gibb.
The BGs were Scottish boys who migrated to Australia with their parents and started their career on Aussie talent shows. They have a huge catalogue of music from the 60s. Do yourself a favour and listen to some of their pre disco stuff Mr V!
For anyone who hasn't seen "Saturday Night Fever", This is the opening song with John Travolta walking down the street in Bensonhurst!
Random trivia knowledge here. Barry (the tall one in the middle) bought Johnny Cash’s house , the one seen in his Hurt video, to keep it from become a tourist attraction. Then a year or so later it burnt down.
Also when taking a CPR class they tell you to give chest compressions to this beat. Another One Bites The Dust also works but probably best to sing Stayin Alive instead of Another One Bites The Dust while doing CPR.

I’m a 59 yr old white woman. I love your reactions to my generation’s music. You’re awesome 🎉
Bee Gees " You should be dancing" it has all four brothers singing in it
That reaction made my day - more Bee Gees please.
Sorry, it's definitely the Bee Gees.
You know they're brothers, right? 😁💕
Barry , the lead singer/one in the middle on this song will turn 75 September 1st 2021 and his anniversary is the same date, he will be married 51 years to Linda. He has 5 grown children and last count 8 grandchildren. He took his wife and kids with him on the road, so no there was no hanky lanky. In fact all the brothers took their families on the road with them. Their parents came too. They were very family oriented and really nice guys. So much talent wrapped up in one family! They write their own songs, write songs for other artists, many folks cover and or sample their songs too!
My dad's generation (he was a teen through the 70s) they didn't care what color skin you had or what language you spoke, as long as you weren't a square, you're invited to the party.
I love the way they are walking in step to the music!!! They took the black neighborhoods over in the day singing this song I remember everybody bought this album!!! It went straight to #1 fast!!!!

the three brothers had 5 careers: 1) child stars starting 1958 2) popstars end of the 60ies into the 70ies 3) disco sensations end of the 70ies 4) pop-comeback in the 80ies 5) writing hits for celine dion, diana ross, dionne warwick, kenny rogers & dolly parton and others. only the oldest of the (actually four) brothers is stll alive, the good looking one ... and he´s even doing arenas.

When i was little i thought they sang " stena Line" wich is a ship/ferry company here in sweden
I *loved* "Undercover Brother" Also, yes, Barry was so *FINE* with that smile, that hair, that walk and of course that *voice* ❣️
I volunteer to be the one to help them. Any of them. They each were special in their own way. Barry was sexy and hot as a firecracker in the Fourth of July. Robin had the greatest voice ever. His solos were amazing. He also had very sexy lips and eyes. Mo had the craziest personality on stage and was hilarious. He also had the biggest most beautiful smile ! On top of all that, they were so talented. Hottest group ever! All from the same family. ❤️🌹❤️
This song has been in many movies, but originally was in the John Travolta disco movie' Saturday night fever' & the Bee Gee's did the whole soundtrack. You definitely need to hear all the music. Check out the movie. John is quite the dancer & the music is fabulous!
The Bee Gees formed in 1958, brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, they were especially successful as pop music in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s.
Barry's been married for 50 years. His wife Linda went on every tour. I don't know if he got up to shenanigans with other women, but it couldn't've been that often. Before they married in 1970, though, when the Bee Gees got famous the first time in the late 60s? Whoooo, even Linda said there were women coming to their London place all the time, looking to sleep with him _again._ I have no doubt that he was great in bed.
Oh hell i laughed so much. Knew you'd shit when you put it together.
CPR never had a better song
sometimes when im out in the car with my mate i drop some proper random bangers and when we pull up to lights i wind the windows down and sing at the top of my lungs while my mate just sinks into the seat and turns red XD this is 100% the next banger getting dropped when i pull up
To get away from music, you should react to some of the "Barry Gibbs Talk Show" sketches from Saturday Night Live (Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake). They are great, but unfortunately, I can't find one on RUclips because they're all blocked...look them up just to get a good laugh, regardless. Thanks for the great reaction.

The Bee Gee's are three brothers. Their last name is Gibb (Barry is the older brother and the other two are twins, Maurice and Robin).
They grew up in Australia and started their singing career at an early age. Later they went to America and made it big over there.
This was for the soundtrack for the movie Saturday night fever starring John Travolta in 1978!

Dude, your reacts are phenomenal!
That is there voices no lip sync here, the movie was Saturday night fever, with John Travolta. It is straight up disco, not a big fan of it, I would rather be at cbgb's then studio 54
Was never a fan of disco music either. Staying Alive is the only disco song ever will like.
The song wasn't written as a disco but, rather, R&B. Bee Gees had strong R&B roots. If you listen to their early work, - To Love Somebody in particular - it was done by Eric Burdon, Janis Joplin, and others. It was written with Otis Redding in mind but he died before he could record it. That their music was so popular with the Disco crowd was a source of curiosity to the brothers.
@@crosscatchThx for the history behind the song. it's no wonder I always loved the song. I truly thought Stayin Alive was written for Saturday Night Fever. In my opinion, where John Travolta does that famous walk through Brooklyn's Bensonhurt,Staying Alive playing in the background OMGOSH the song makes the entire movie! Btw my family still lives in Bensonhurt/Bay Ridge to this day. John Travolta filming Saturday Night Fever put our area on the map, that's for sure.I was 10 years old at the time they were filming Saturday Night Fever in our neighborhood. @@crosscatch I hear you I'm hating on the bee gees, they have my respect, I was 14 when it came out I was listening to the Ramones and punk back then so it was one of those things, but I am older now and a enjoy many genres of music ✌
@@daleporter8997 You are not alone. Not to worry though. The Bee Gee's were phenominally successful. It was weird for those of us who were listening in 67.
