Is it plastic? how durable would it be to a hammer or something? thanks.. Noooo.... i just seen the top tab and you pulling out the 9v battery... that looks sooo fragile..what if somebody cut the wires or something? I'm still thinking a good solid key is the way to go?
The keypad is only a low-cost code input device designed to be destroyed in an attack. The codes for the safe are held in the lock on the inside of the safe. A replacement keypad can easily be connected to the lock and the safe opened such an attack. This is quite unlike a key lock that if damaged may require drilling, damaging the safe.
