The sad thing is that Tommy did care for Ken a lot. So much so that he'd allowed Ken to snort up a lot of the supply while Tommy never really retaliating on him. And when Tommy saw the downward spiral that Ken was going he had to make a harsh decision not only for Ken himself, but for his empire as well. And instead of just wacking him off, Tommy sent him off to Rehab as a sort of goodbye and cut all contact so that Ken can live a "normal life". Thinking about it Tommy was betrayed by most of his friends as each one used him as a means for themselves to get to power and seeing Ken as a friend didn't want his last friend to do the same.
That is so true 😦
Yeah, I see this point too. Ken had no head to live in such criminal life. Tommy was being merciful to him with this action.
I agree plus Ken never really helped in Vice City at all. Tommy did all the heavy lifting. Ken was like.... moral support lol. Plus if you really want to help your friend kick his cocaine addiction you don't send him to rehab and then invite him back to help you run a cocaine empire. That's just stupid.
Love Fist most likely wacked him off. 🤭
Even Ken tells CJ that's he desires to live a family man life and leave this criminal lifestyle in the past
Ken Rosenberg is so lucky that he survived GTA Vice City and also GTA San Andreas as well
He survived due to his loyalty and friendships with both.
@@60wwediva right how lucky he was
Right?! Hes that background charecter that somehow avoids getting got
What about liberty city
@@Jonesy0439 Ken Rosenberg wasn't in Liberty City
I like to imagine after the events of San Andreas Tommy was enjoying a sunset with a cigar in hand in his mansion reading about the success of Ken Rosenberg and Maddog while saying to himself
"Ah Ken I knew you would be just fine"
👏👏👏👏
You got that right!
Sounds like a fitting after credits scene.
@Morgan Williamson no because there was an old website “ran by Kent Paul” that confirmed Tommy was the kingpin of Vice City at least until 2002.
@AMW Productions nah they didn't. After sonny fell the forellis were weak as hell and had to deal with combating against other rising mob members in liberty city. By the events of liberty city stories they were basically fully defeated by the leones, and for a few years after that the leftover high level forelli members were whacked off like Mike Lips in gta 3
Without bringing up Liotta, Tommy most likely just found Ken unreliable and in the end useless after losing his Lawyer status given that Tommy reeled into a Lance for his incompetence. That's said, putting him in rehab was probably an act of genuine kindness since Ken and Tommy are close enough that Tommy wouldn't want to see Ken go even lower than he already is.
Good point
Actually when you think about it, yeah.. He always might kill Rosenberg instead of giving him a hand before cutting ties with him.. Thanks for the valuable input! 🙂
Good point
Rosenberg has a good ending in his life by choosing to work with CJ and madd Dogg , idk about how it would've been if he stayed with tommy
Indeed, it can be said that this whole story turned out to be quite successful for Ken 😀
@@gaminginvestigators he mentioned about his family in vice city in one of the phone calls , can you check in depth on that?
cj made ken,mad dog and grove free from drugs, tommy did the right thing as if he would bring ken back he would again become addict bcoz tommy was king of cocaine empire
@@pragatsharma1580 I guess tommy did the right choice too
It was a smart move for Tommy to cut all ties with Ken. The latter was becoming a useless coke addict and would have done more harm than good for business. There's the old saying: "Don't get high on your own supply." Just look at what happened to Tony Montana. Who's to say the same wouldn't happen to Ken had he stayed with that severe addiction? Especially since this was the possible reason Lance betrayed Tommy. So it was a good decision for Tommy to not want anything to do with him anymore. Moral here: Stay off the coke! You'll become a liability.
Yeah, I mean look at big bear. B Dup's base slave
That is true indeed 🙂
And Ken Rosenberg being allied with CJ definitely allowed ken to overcome his addiction in addition to getting out of rehab
Tommy was a good man with high moral and respect to his alliance, despite Ken was heavy addict, he warned Ken to stop his addiction or it goes worse. Thats why Tommy sent him to rehab center and cut his ties with him until Ken freed from addiction.
Also, R* scrapped the script on SA opening where Ken tried to call Tommy but his henchmen answered instead of Tommy as replacement.
The Proffesional was uncovered this on his video with lots of analysis and details what actually happened between Tommy and Sonny with Tommy and Ken on separate videos.
Damn....i but i love coke😢 and pepsi😈
Another great video! At least Ken has a less dangerous job after joining up with CJ.
I have a suggestion, maybe try do a lore video on Donald Love's disappearance?
I would like to hear your reasoning behind his disappearance.
Thanks! Actually, we are planning to release video about Donald Love's disappearance and other plot holes in the future 🙂
Tommy Vercetti is actually a very loyal man. The only man he outright ''betrays'' throughout Vice City is Sonny - and even then, its only because Sonny betrayed him first. I think that's what it comes down to in the end. Ken isn't a friend but he is a comrade. A comrade who ultimately stuck by him when a lot of others didn't. Its what saved him from a bullet (which is certainly how most real life criminals would have gone about dealing with such lose end).
You mean Nose-enberg?
Yeah... 😂
💀💀
Ray Liotta Was Legendary
To be fair it was Tommy's bodyguard that picked up the phone. And informed Ken that he doesn't want to talk to him. For all we know, Tommy was eagerly waiting to hear back from Ken and when he didn't after being checked out of rehab. Figured he'd moved on.
R.I.P. RAY LIOTTA
Wow it's been a year. Rest in Peace Mr. Liotta
Ken Rosenberg was addicted to drugs and alcohols and almost went to lowest situations of his life so Tommy vercetti sent him to San andreas (gta san andreas) rehabilitation centre to get him cured and we can also see ken Calling Tommy by telephone phone In a cut scene in gta sa while doing (the meat bussiness) Mission with CJ in gta sa👍
That's a cool summary, my man 😃
Ken was voiced by William Fichtner, Avery Carington was voice by the late, great Burt Reynolds. Vice City really brought the star power, it’s remains my favorite to this day.
As a kid when I was playing vice city I never realized that Ken had such a problem with cocaine addiction. I thought everybody was on cacaine cause it's vice city^^.
I had the same like you 😀 but "The Introduction" movie got me I was wondering about it much more.
As a kid when I was playing vice city, I didn't even know what cocaine was
@@gaminginvestigators need to see this One. ^^
Vice City is one of those games that deserves a remake but would inevitably be done wrong.
They did pretty well with the Mafia. Rockstar needs to put the efforts
I feel Ken would've just gotten back on cocaine again, anyways, even if Tommy would've taken him back. Which, in turn, would've let to more uselessness for him with Tommy, which would've caused a domino effect of more problems for Tommy's empire. Which is exactly why Ken got back on cocaine in Sanandreas, proving it would've happened anyway, in either scenario. Therefore, Tommy made a smart business decision in cutting ties with Ken.
7:59 you don't have to be a coward to cut off a person like Ken , i mean he's an iconic character but Tommy did it for self respect as he wasn't sure Ken was clean. Tommy didn't want to come to the point he'd have to dump him again, or worse have him killed if he messes around. He let Ken keep his life for himself. Luckily, he crossed paths with CJ.
8:50 he would keep behaving like this even at Vercetti's, with the fact that Tommy's morals and personality can't do enough to stop him from taking drugs.
Vice City is obviously a sexy place to someone who wants to run a monopoly on the drug world. However, it won’t love them back. In short, it’s was probably only a matter of time before someone took Tommy out. Probably did that poor Attorney a favor indirectly.
Well, at least we know for sure that Tommy Vercetti was still alive until 2002 thanks to Kent Paul's website 🙂
RIP Ray Liotta 🪦⚰️🕊🙏🏻☮️⚱️
He couldn't lay off the blow.
A whole 9 minutes of nothing
It would be nice to see a video about Tommy and Mercedes relationship, and what happened to her after VC.
Couldn't they have just looked for a sound-alike for San Andreas though?
this!
@@Neopumper666 I mean... my only assumption is them wanting to avoid fan backlash, or maybe something in Liotta's contract prevented them from doing so, but otherwise, I think most people would be fine with a sound-alike.
Ken had plenty of chances between 86 and 92, I’m sure. He was dead weight and lucky tommy sent him to rehab instead of the bottom of the ocean. Liability.
Ken's drug addiction will always put the Vercetti Empire in danger, because the drugs are always meant to be distributed to its clients!
The sad fact that ray liotta was kicked out from Rockstar company so they also kicked his character out as well.
He wasn’t kicked out they had a disagreement over pay. They wanted Tommy back for San Andreas. Liotta wanted to be paid more they said no.
Why did Ken choose to go to San andreas instead of liberty city......also....why did he need to leave vice city......also....did Tommy stay in vice city or did he go back to liberty city because I think he was originally from liberty city sent to vice city
The special introduction for gta san Andreas if you got the special edition
You can watch it on RUclips
Ken : Just like the old times Tommy.
CJ : Who tf is Tommy?
I hope Ken meets Tommy after the events of San Andreas.
Nah. If Tommy accepts him back, he will just be an addict again when he has the chance. Like what happened in San Andreas. If anything, I see Tomy wants his friend to stay away from all of those drugs stuff and live a new life. Accepting an ex-addict into a drug business while wanting him to keep clean is stupid. Like "Yo, don't do drugs anymore alright? Anyway, this is our new drugs warehouse that I want you to handle." lol. To be fully cleared from addiction, people need to stay away as far as possible from what they're addicted to.
I think Las Venturas was also not the best place for an ex drug addict.
Looks like he made the right decision then 🤔 Thank you for your input 🙂
CJ's refusal to do drugs plus sweet's anti drugs ideologies would have helped ken Rosenberg overcome his addiction
Videos like this are my favorite on your channel! I feel sorry for Rosenberg.
Glat to hear that, my man! 😃
The only use that Ken Rosenberg had was that he was a lawyer and as we hear in the introduction cutscene that he was disbarred from the Law
So basically Tommy had no more use for him he was a liability he was getting high on his own supply
Even in GTA SA he’s snorting coke. He can’t handle any fame or fortune. Ken Rosenberg probably got fired from CJ’s empire too
Even though we like Ken very much, it must be said anyway that what you mentioned is totally true: /
I mean, yeah. Sure he has CJ and Sweet and their anti-drug thing, but I have friends who continue to do their harmful habits despite getting help and living a better life.
Ken very well could do good for a few months, but because he gets stressed so easily, he does coke again to escape the stresses and maybe one day, CJ comes to visit and he’s doing drugs again. Knowing how CJ is, I’m sure he would be extremely hurt to see his friend in that coked out state again
Maybe you're putting too many points on Rosenberg. I believe that the reason why Vercetty didn't even had a word with Kent before cutting relations with him was because Tommy simply didn't care nor wanted to lose time with him. Specially considering the useless junkie Rosenberg became lol
Yeah, well, we wanted this video to be more devoted to Rosenberg's perspective.. Although everyone knows that Tommy did right decision by getting rid of Rosenberg being a liability in the organisation, we thought that it would be cool to look at this through Ken's eyes and in relation to their long time friendship. So yeah 🙂
I don't think Tommy would have given him a second chance, because basically Tommy's Enterprise revolved around the cocaine business. Ken's past addictions I think would absolutely be too much for him to overcome, and this would have probably ended very badly for Rosenberg.
7:29 "Indirectly contributed"? Yeah, that's not what Ken was arguing. I believe his exact words were "I _made_ that ingrate!" And anyone who played the game knows that Tommy did all the damn work (because we _were_ Tommy at the time) while Ken sat on his ass the vast majority of the game. Sure, he provided some necessary connections for the story of the game to continue, but Tommy did all of the heavy lifting... and the vast majority of the light lifting too.
Ken rosenberg did so much effort to help tony taking over the drug business in vice city he was the only one for him once arrived to vice city my guesses is that Tommy left him due to his behaviors and how cocaine attracted him to addiction maybe Tommy wanted to see healthy and clear minded people working for him
I know your story is trying to logicalize scripted behaviors, but come on man. Vercetti is a coward because he didn't answer Ken's phone calls? Ken did nothing to help Tommy in Vice city, every single man Tommy had to kill he did it by himself. Tommy was the reason Ken lived in the first place, not to mention the endless percs he had when working for Tommy. Tommy owes him nothing, he chose his fate more than any one else :)
Thanks for your comment! We know that ruthless criminals are not that emotional over their friends, but we decided to discuss this issue from more inner approach instead of the "typical" one. We do agree that Rosenberg didn't do much for Tommy in opposition to other gang members. However, it is worth emphasizing that he stayed loyal to him after all. Tommy could simply tell him that he won't take him back to the organisation instead of being silent. That's all really, but yeah, we do think that getting rid of Rosenberg was a wise decision in the end. 🙂
@@gaminginvestigators 🙂 I understood your point from the beginning. Back when i played Vice City, I was just frustrated I had to do almost everything by my own, Lance didn't help(even made it worse for Tom), Rosenberg didn't help, We helped Colonel with so may errands only to help us once, we beat Hilary in the race only to drive ourselves when leaving the Bank xD. Just to name a few. Ha ha, fun but frustrating times
When do you ever see lawyers picking up guns to kill gang members? That would be completely unrealistic. Also Tommy did behave like a coward in not directly cutting off Nosenberg, similarly to how he never directly said how he felt about being betrayed over the phone to Sonny. The harwood butcher is very non confrontational when it comes to expressing his feelings to people close to him
@@theconnected7234 lawyers should at least help, not sniff coke, whine all the time, and spend more money than you or me will ever earn xD
he went to oversee a great drug exchange. that means he no innocent man.
Saul Goodman didn't go around killing people, but he helped.
Ken ALWAYS made it more difficult, in everything,. Don't justify him, you know it. Tommy is the best thing that ever happened to him, no doubt. But since Ken chose to be a leech, he deserved worse than he got xD
@@PsychoHipHoptos I'm not justifying Nosenberg's actions but for all those reasons you listed, Tommy should've cut him off directly instead of disappearing while he was in rehab. As far as comparing Nosenberg to Saul goes, I would never expect Nosenberg to ever talk to the Salamancas without getting killed like any real world lawyer. Saul was a con-man with a law degree. He was written perfectly for crime. Ken was a lawyer who let money talk him into working with the mob and became so scared he snorted the fear away. That's realistic
Its a shame that ending though. Ken is one of the most colourful characters in the series, I completely understand the reasoning though. But he's one of my favourite side characters, seeing him with kent paul and maccer is sa was incredibly entertaining though.
It is a shame the 3D universe got shelved for the HD one, would have loved to see where everyone was at in the equivalent "modern day" in some game set in either of the three locations or a new one within that universe. Would Claude still be an errand boy, or his own boss? Would Tommy have shared his empire with family, or just reign until his inevitable demise? Not that I'm saying every story needed to be sequelized, but with how the PS2 games and the PSP spinoffs wove the narratives together, it really would have been fun to at least see one more update on the world before we moved onto the darker HD universe.
Yes!?
Ken kept getting addicted to crack and kept on sniffing it. Tommy told him to stop because ken was his friend and lawyer. He kept getting high and even start sniffing tommy own crack supplies. With ken no longer a lawyer he was now a liability now. Tommy had no choice but to kick him out. I hope ken is doing okay as mad dog agent now and is not making the same mistake with drugs like he did with Tommy. With cj hate of drugs I think ken stop his addiction and is living good with mad dog.
Not to mention there isn't a story at what is happening at Vice - getting rid of Sonny never means end of trouble. Other example, where is Grove street in GTA5?
Tommy could be having his own shit to worry about, plus it would help Rosenberg to do something by himself. after all the breakup is primarily because of Ray Liotta leaving Rockstar.
Ken didnt smoked crack like a hobo! he sniffed cocaine like a lawyer!!
Crack isn’t sniffed it’s smoked so he didn’t keep getting addicted to crack and sniffing it because that wouldn’t make sense. Crack is a cooked form of powdered cocaine and a much stronger substance
We definitely agree with you! :)
Hopefully ken's alliance with a gang whose members' ideologies are against drugs would probably help ken Rosenberg overcome his cocaine addiction.. otherwise cj and sweet would have probably kicked ken Rosenberg out as an associate or ally
In retrospect Ken Rosenberg got himself fired for becoming a crackhead.
That scene where Ken says "Oh I need a job".
Where is that from ? I dont belive Ive ever seen that before.
What game is that from ? Im certain its not from GTA VC.
It's from the San Andreas "The Introduction" short film that Rockstar released for the game's 10th anniversary in 2014.
Your explanation level is next level you know the things that others don't know
In fact, this video is completely unnecessary, because we all know why Tommy was removed from the series, for the same reason that removed Nico. Money 💵 💵 . It's something the actors say it's not like the rest of the things that Rockstar has kept hidden, it might be fun to speculate on the causes but when you know the real reason there is no need to invent reasons from the game because the events that took place in it were not originally a blueprint to keep Tommy out of the story It's just loading more game story than it's made to handle 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@Jimmy Valmer
it is in one way or another
did it happen with Nikko's VA as well? fuck I'd love a sequel to that story
Thanks for the comment! Now at the beginning of the video we highlighted that we are going to exclude Ray Liotta's dispute with Rockstar specifically because we wanted to take in-game approach. We know that if this accident wouldn't happen, the whole thread could turn out. However, it is not easy (maybe even impossible) to find any information about the early concept of Tommy's role in GTA San Andreas before the dispute. It is not like in Ryder's case because here we have a lot of reasons proving that final concept of him betraying GSF was not originally intended. (there will be episode about it soon by the way 🙂 ) Nonetheless, we are analysing the storyline above all. Yes, we don't forget about what happens between Ray Liotta and Rockstar, Burt Reynolds and Rockstar and so on. But for us it's really important to colloquially speaking "squeeze" as much as we can from what we have in the game. Because sometimes we can conclude interesting things that are not visible at first glance. Anyway, we are also going to make a video about Ray Liotta's dispute as well 🙂
The real answer is because Rock$tar couldn’t bring back Ray Liotta
Vice City is the best. Nothing comes close
Cool boys play GTA SA... But real men play GTA VC...
Kent Rosenberg could not launder the money for vercetti anymore
Ken Rosenberg survive the '80s and the 90s he's probably dead but who knows where he at😭
He's dead because the 3d universe has ended
Yeah, this is a big mystery 🙂
He would of relapsed if he went back to tommy
After 1986, Ken suffered from drug addictions so Tommy sent him to rehab and cut ties with him
We can already see the start of Ken's drug addiction in "The Shootist"!
If gta 6 takes place in vice city it would be nice to get an tommy vercetti Easter egg like in the future have his abandoned mansion in an old part of vice city and let the information about the house be online and tell us about who owned it and what happened to tommy like confirm if tommy was overthrown and taken out for killing an mafia crime boss?🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Tommy would be like 64 today he's either retired or died from age or health
I think Ken had a drug problem and Tommy sent him out West for Rehab
Ray Quit gta resulting in a change of story. Same with Ryder when MC Eiht quit rockstar changing the story
But why does GTA V have MC Eiht songs?
@@egorleschev Idk,thats a Mystery to me. Unless they all friends again

He based of cariltos way lawyer he even looks like him too in the movies he became a cocaine addicted man 😂😂💯
😂😂😂😂😂😂 fr
GTA 3.5: Carlito's Scarface
Hes a liability! A big one at that
Tommy more or less knew that Rosenberg was a danger to himself and the gang. Sooner or later Ken would've probably screwed thing up big time and end up in jail or dead. He still cared enough for Rosenberg to pay his rehab, get him out of his operation and give him the possibility of living a normal life without crime. If he actually returned to Vice City the only thing that would have happened to him is Ken ODing one day.
Perfectly said, Nightblade! 😁 See you in more episodes, man.
Tommy wouldn't like to see Ken overdosing on cocaine... Because it won't be sweet if VCPD finds out!
Tommy's like the lawyer in carlito's way, he's a fucking crazy liability to have when he's all whacked out on coke, unpredictable can cause a lot of unnecessary misgivings.
I cant believe a Jewish lawyer wasn’t trustworthy and dependable
Jewish people are always like that...
well Ken doomed himself
Ken says Tommy is selfish but he's clearly more selfish! He wants all the cocaine for himself and only himself... And his severe cocaine addiction almost put Vercetti Empire in even greater danger, not to mention that he lost his lawyer's licence because of it! This is why Tommy decided to send him to Fort Carson in 1991!
So why he didn't give him at least a small home instead of kicking him out like a homeless 😂 you know that Ken Rosenberg is the reason of taking over vice city
KEN ROSENBERG?
MORE LIKE KANE ROSE BURGER LOL
Lmao
It's because Ken had a drug problem and was sent to rehab and Tommy I guess cut his losses with him. Probably couldn't put up with his stupidity
Ken wasn't stupid... He was only not prepared enough to survive in the dangerous world of crime...
Carlito's Way is a good watch if you like the Ken Rosenberg character
What game is the scene where he’s outside the Fort Carson rehab from? I don’t remember it.
It's from the video 'Introduction ' from San Andreas. It on the Rockstar website or here on RUclips!☺
according to gta wiki:
Rosenberg is undoubtedly heavily influenced by Sean Penn's character Dave Kleinfeld from the 1993 movie Carlito's Way. Both worked as lawyers, helped the protagonists of their respective franchises, and were heavily addicted to cocaine and both did something that made the protagonist sever their ties with them (in Kleinfeld's case, he was going to testify against Carlito and Tommy severed his ties with Rosenberg because of his drug addiction). Also, the interior of Rosenberg's office in Vice City is also remarkably similar to Dave Klenfield's office.
Not to mention they both had the same hairstyle and both wore glasses
Tommy was very non confrontational when it came to his feelings involving people close to him. He never said a word to Sonny until the ending, he never ended his relationship with Nosenberg directly and ghosted him, he didn't want to address his tension with Lance even when Lance tried to bring his issues up throughout the game in his phone calls. Tommy's a killer but am emotional coward
As someone who loves to do character analysis, I personally wouldn’t call him and emotional coward. Sure, certain things could’ve been avoided, but remember that by the beginning of VC, Tommy was getting out of prison due to Sonny setting him up and ultimately betraying him with Lance. I feel like the past incidents with Lance, especially the last interaction before the end of the game,Tommy was starting to get fed up and started to limit who he gets close to because maybe he saw signs in Vance that he saw initially in Sonny.
He might not outwardly show it, but it’s obvious he cares a lot about Mercedes and her father as well as Umberto, Ken, Love Fist, the old newsprinter guy, the bikers and everyone else in the Vercetti inner circle because they are the ones who consistently showed their loyalty throughout the game, so I feel like being called an ‘emotional coward’, is a bit harsh.
@@leonardmccoy4797 I have to go as far as using the term coward because Tommy's in a position where people's lives are at stake in order to protect & run his businesses. Had Tommy addressed Lance earlier, they could've reached an agreement or he could've decided to remove Lance on his terms. Had Tommy put his foot down with Sonny sooner, the print shop guy might not have been assaulted and the businesses wouldn't have been forced into paying the Forellis with Lance's help. Tommy's employees had to suffer because of his own inactions, and that's what made him a coward at that point
@@theconnected7234 ahh see, that makes more sense actually and it’s a very intriguing take to say the least. If Tommy didn’t have the emotional range of a sponge, then the entire game could change drastically. Lance would see that Tommy meant business and is through playing games so it soley rests on him to make that final decision.
As with Sonny, that’s a bit more tricky. Sonny easily pulled the strings and could probably make Tommy’s life hell since the Forelli’s were at their height before their decline in LCS, and Tommy knew that, so maybe he was either playing it safe or waiting until Sonny’s guard was down.
It’s refreshing to have a civil discussion eith an opposing viewpoint
@@leonardmccoy4797 I agree, this is a great discussion & I was only able to make my second point because you brought up the people Tommy genuinely cared about, especially Mercedes and the print shop guy. Sonny's goons could've easily targeted the film studio instead of the print shop and who knows what they could've done to Mercedes now that her father was gone and Tommy wasn't there.
this all under the asumption Tommy is still alive
I think the play of Rosenberg is just like Sean penn in Carlitos way the lawyer and he died in the movie.I think they played where they made ken a joke but no matter what he was there for tommy in loyalty I think the reason why tommy didn’t kill ken is because he didn’t have to. There’s nothing ken can do to hurt tommy in anyway, it’s like gta 3 Phil is a soldier in their and is one armed just like the event where he blows his arm off in vice city. So I think in conclusion of thought Ken was annoying and doing coke and I think tommy saw an opportunity to just get rid of him and let it be and let Ken go on his own which Is great on kens part because now we know he’s just a criminal magnet going from one successor to the next, so in a way Ken will always end up on top because his natural ways which we see in vice city kick in and cj sounds a little bit more lenient towards Ken and to top it off kens not alone he’s got Kent Paul and that one guy so in the end it works for Ken .ps the reason I bring up Phil is because if it is canonical then Phil lived thru vice city and perused something without tommy. Which brings up why I think tommy just cut ties with ken. And the canonical order gta works is vice city-San andreas- gta 3 then 4 then etc…
For his addiction
Omg finally answers
ken is sean penn's character in carlito's way.
Ken always did have a nose for business.
Yo so I just ran threw this on switch, and didn’t do the Malibu club assets, and I’ll be real I missed all of this 😂😂😂 I watched every cutscene too 😂😂😂
why did that intro sound like a skin walker wrote it
If Ray Liotta didn't quit as voice actor
Tommy would have said sorry but he couldn't associate with him to Ken on phone in the cutscene of Introduction of GTA SAN ANDREAS .

It’s still all because of Ray Liotta and his issues with R*. That’s why R* just had to make something up to change the story to what it finally is.
RIP Ray Liotta 🪦
😢
I highly doubt that R* had the funds to even bring Ray Liotta back for a cameo in another game. All of the 3D era protagonists who make cameos in other games aren’t voiced by their original voice actors (Victor Vance, Cipriani, Claude lol).
He was one of the greatest
He wad and artist, a great man. He was and still is a true goodfella.
I think if rockstar is in good terms with the voice actor they bring them up again in future games like ken rosenberg and phil for example, if you checked the video of the making of vice city the two voice actors seem to be enjoying what they do
8:01 Highly doubt this is the case. Toy has never been shy about voicing his opinon
Ray wasn't paid that much nor receive royalties from the game
Poor Ken.. He is so cute , I love him

Ken Rosenberg is my favorite GTA side character
As for me, my favorite GTA Vice City side character is Ernest Kelly because his kindness keeps reminding Tommy of his own father! This is why they have a really beautiful relationship!
Still gets me upset that Tommy and Lance aren't together anymore....it's seemed very true about their friendship
I know... But Lance's decision to betray Tommy in favor of Sonny is literally the last straw! He's also the reason Vic lost Louise!
I think a major issue was Tommy got tired of being let down by the people around him. Despite treating them fairly well. I mean what kingpin you know would let their friend get high on their product vs making the money off it? Plus lance let him down by trying to takeover despite being treated reasonably when he wasnt even pulling his weight. The man become underboss without any substantial work.
Not to mention taking a rap for sonny doing the time and still being looked down upon.
That's so true. But you know, Tommy could at least have this one last phone call with Rosenberg for the sake of good old times.. 🙂

if I remember correct Ken told CJ he wanted out of the life of working for the MOB cause if would not be good for his health in the long run and the fact Ken went to work for Mad Dogg as his Accountant sorta his life ended up even better kind of funny seems Tomi did Ken a favor by not letting him return to Vice City but again that is my Opinion
Tommy learned one meaningful lesson: Never appoint a drug addict into an important position!
i believe that Tommy knew how dangerous it would be for ken to keep working with him. Being 2nd in command, he would have a target on his back, and ken isn't really the fighting type when shit hits the fan. i think the idea for tommy was that he was protecting ken, sending him to rehab for a fresh start in Los Santos
Cocaine problem.
Now I know the meaning of "my head out of the gutter"!
Tommy did the right thing, throughout Vice City we see that Ken is not a person to be in a criminal life, always panicking and getting addicted as the story proceeds. If Tommy said goodbye to Ken then their relationship would've worsened. Sending him to a rehab and cutting ties was probably the best thing to do. And Vice City is all about drugs, so he couldn't involve Ken into any kind of work.
Tommy wants to distribute drugs but Ken keeps using the drugs for himself and only himself! Tommy knows that his clients would be very upset if they don't get their drugs, so he made a firm decision, which is to send Ken to Fort Carson and never talk with him anymore!
We don’t know and never will.
Yes, but some conclusions can be drawn 😁
They was not really friends even though ken was loyal to him
I don't think Tommy's decision with kicking out Ken and sending him to rehab was a bad thing I think the reason why he did it was because Ken was his best friend and he always stood by tommy no matter how things got messed up in vice city in fact it's for the better, he didn't want Ken to become a drug addict as he could easily screw up the whole counterfeit cash business, if he continued snorting coke in the middle of washing cash, tommy sent him to rehab out of his own heart and cut ties because he doesn't want him to get heavily involved into crime and as Ken stated during the mission meat business he was tired of crime and wants go out and live a normal life and by that point he probably understood why tommy did it.
Well yeah, you're absolutely right. It was indeed a good idea to get rid of Rosenberg, but since it was kinda obvious, we decided to approach this topic from Ken's perspective instead 😃
