I’ll forever remember the first time I saw one of these fish & I was totally enamored with it. This is probably the only fish I’d get into salt water aquariums for, & devote a huge tank just to this one fish.
I'm impressed that their eggs develop and hatch in one day. No time to plan a baby shower! Do other species of triggerfish develop as quickly as these do?

I didn't realize that they had so many spines around their caudal peduncles. They are even better armed than surgeonfish!
Triggerfish can actually be quite aggressive.
