I love Xyris! I built him as snake tribal and used Shared Animosity to buff up my snakes or use Fynn the Fang Bearer + Ohran Frostfang to give them all deathtouch and poison counters
I run Outpost Seige and Goblin Bombardment. Generally speaking, those two cards are enough to keep people away from my side of the board once the snakes start piling up.
I've hated blue for multiple decades but I keep trying to find commanders that have it and I still feel fine playing it. Currently trying Ghyrson Starne, but if I don't like it, I plan on going for Xyris 🙂
You could put Grafted Exoskeleton, Corrupted Conscience, Prosthetic Injector on your Pingers.... What is a Snake has no Poisen but wantsto be a Leviathan ?
Daenan, how often do you actually win with it? I have a very similar deck to this primarily to hasten the game and help the player lagging behind, which is often in my playgroup but most of the time, it always end up just helping the opponent who's winning win faster. Our decklists are identitcal but mine focused more on "Polymorph" effects and less landfall effects.

Very nice! Your style and voice really remind me of the old How Its Made show!
I heard Hadana's Climb and got excited I love that card since I used to play it in standard! ❤
Awesome deck overview and breakdown.

Love Xyris and his flexibility. My deck is completely different!

Quite often, to be honest. I generally don't start playing the Group Draw effects until after Xyris is on board.
My Xyris deck is voltron, with loads of pump spells that have (draw a card) on them, im aiming to force draw by dealing damage
my group plays from powerlvl extra a little lower, so do you have replacement options?
Weaken the land/ramp base. Go for all tap lands, no fetches (other than Evolving Wilds and the other common ones).
I have xyris group draw but then i have all the when i draw my opponents mill cards
neat
Spell check on the title
Thanks for looking out!
