Great lesson and review, спасибо! Quick question: in the phrase "с сестрой" I can't hear the separate "c" at all. I guess this dissapears / collapses in speech so the only way to recognise that it's there is from the Instrumental ending? The "c" sound doesn't get longer or anything? Thanks again for your wonderful content. I took a long break from learning Russian but I keep coming back to it!
Спасибо! You are right that prepositions are blended in speech, and if the word starts with with the same consonant as the preposition, the latter a bit longer. For example, с сестрой, в Ванкувере, etc.
