This is the first video of yours that i've come across... and i know it wasn't coincidence! I read your description under the video, and i feel like we could be friends with all the things we seem to have in common, and almost the same age too!
This topic has been heavy on my heart lately, and i've been searching these scriptures, picking them apart. I use the NKJV mostly, and it uses the word "admonish", meaning to warn or reprimand someone firmly.
These questions have been on my mind about why the older woman aren't doing this... and there's a couple reasons that come to mind, very similar to what you were saying: either they've made a lot of mistakes, and feel unworthy to teach, or they take too far the idea of "silence in the church", which doesn't at all mean that they can't teach other women in their lives!
I'm a very outspoken, inquisitive woman, and i've noticed a lot of people don't like being questioned, but how are we to know things if we don't do the searching?! I'm a pastor's wife, and there seems to be a majority with the opinion that i should just keep my mouth shut, and not ever ruffle feathers by speaking up for what's right....i never purpose to offend, but truth offends, and people are offended at the wildest things 🤦‍♀️
I found you on Facebook while watching your video, and i'm excited to see more from you!
    God bless! 💛

Fran, you literally disciple every time you pick up this camera. I learn so much from you, even through your struggles. But you inspire me in my marriage, with cleaning and DIYs, and through your parenting. You might not be disciplining me in person, but you are.
I could share so much more on the gap but I would be typing all night 😂

That means so much to me honestly. I have said this before and ill continue to say it your gift is encouragement. You have a way with lifting up the Saints that makes me feel seen and loved by God, Himself. The way you minister through encouraging words. I just love your heart.

I was told years ago that something I felt led to do wasn't something that needed to be done. My voice was shut down by the pastor's wife that day and for years I didn't open my mouth. Now, I do because I saw that she wasn't where she should have been and wasn't being a desciple like she should have been. So, what you are saying really resonates with me. I have told you before, I didn't have that Titus 2 model so I want to be that for others if I can. Thank you again for sharing.

Yes ma'am! I'm so glad you are rising to that challenge and not shying away from it or responding as someone did to you. But with love and grace walking that out. I've realized I may not be for everyone, but I was created to reach someone.

What things have held me back is my age. ive been marriaged for 15 years in a Christian marriage but i got married pretty young so i didnt want to be a 30 something year old know it all when there are women older in life in general that may know more. Also i came from a fundamentalist and legalistic Christian background and that was alot to unlearn, so ive just felt my information wouldn't be received well by younger people.

girl that is a lie from the enemy. first off you being married for 15 years ages you by a mile ha-ha. No in all seriousness you have a testimony in that alone. Marriage isn't easy. There is some young lady who desires to hear that from a woman who has had a few years under her belt. You have so much to offer. This journey is ongoing, and I have so much to learn. I also want to share with a young lady what I'm learning so that she doesn't have to walk this out alone like i had to. Age ain't nothing but a number. Gray hair and age don't equate wisdom. Solomon was young and known for being one of the wisest men to live.

Do you think discipleship should be one on one? I think it should at least for me. I think I open up more than in a group discipleship setting.

Yes, I definitely think discipleship should be one on one. It creates more openness and vulnerability. And opportunities to correct if needed without offense. But there is also corporate discipleship. That's more of small groups and Sunday school type settings.
