Love the new set-up, starting to look fancy over here! ;) Couldn't agree more on The Way of Edan, it starts out so strong and Philip really knows how to hit you with some deep lines! Very exciting idea about the Patreon, I love the community aspect and that seems to be a great avenue to build more connections. My week was nothing special, I have been rewatching all the Harry Potter movies because I needed some escape and comfort and that was just so much fun. Also reread one of my favourite books of this year, Hell For Hire by Rachel Aaron, because the sequel is coming out soon and I am soooo excited for that! Happy reading :)))

You are indeed in the Golden Age arc, basically the story starts with the Black Swordsman Arc until you rewind in time and go through Guts' backstory at which point we start Golden Age. So glad you reached the Campfire of Dreams chapter, that's such an iconic moment for Guts and the story as a whole Stoked to hear your excitement here too about the D&D game, I'm so excited to get that rolling! Funny enough I'm a trainer also, although I do everything online these days rather than in-person PT Patreon sounds awesome, you already know I'll be signed up day 1 man. It’s fun to play around with backgrounds! I’m a photographer (I shoot on 35mm film) and have done lots of display work! If you want suggestions on your background, let me know- always happy to help fellow book lovers! If you’re interested in murder mystery stories, The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley has been very good so far! It takes place in the Scottish Highlands and I’ve really enjoyed it! It’s very Agatha Christie- esque but set in modern times. I don’t play DND but it’s fun to listen to people play. I’m too shy for it but it’s always a treat to hear all of the fun stories that people come up with on the fly!

That said-I want to read wide (I have some poetry I’m getting into this week) so I’m always open to it. Some things just take more time for me to get to. I’m glad you’re into hunting party! I’d love to hear more what it’s about. As far as the background, I will be changing it up for next week. I just finished Hobb last month for the first time and I’m going to be reading Royal Assassin to follow it up since it was so addicting. The plan is to get to it by the end of the month! Actually the cover light is better close to Rembrandt method...mostly in movies 😂 lol there face light if you don’t have more tools. A proper paper or plastic big might help

I may have to do a month off fantasy at some point in the next 6 months-da Vinci code and pillars of the earth will likely be in that month along with some mystery books I need to start. @@Chance.Dillon That's awesome to hear! I've read 4 out of the 5 books in the series, and I have to say, the first one is my favorite. Each book has its own unique elements that I love, but I don't want to spoil anything. The antagonist in the 3rd book is so well-written, and the moral and ethical dilemma in the 4th book really got to me. And of course, the Da Vinci Code has its own special charm. So, there you have it! However, I'm planning to switch to the fantasy genre for now and put "The Origins" on the back of the shelf. I'm excited to dive into the world of wizardry and witchcraft created by JK Rowling! 😂

However, my TBR for next month is the Song Of Ice and Fire series. I recently finished the HBO show and am super excited to delve into the books that kick-started the entire thing.
