- In this video, I unbox and give my first impressions of the Donner DBU-200 concert scale banjolele. It is a well-built banjolele. For full disclosure, Donner sent this to me for review.
It is currently available from Amazon at this link:

Looks really nice!!
Thanks! It is nice! Check out my recent review of a tenor banjolele! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Cool. I like banjoleles. They're kinda fun. I like that they used a wooden drum. BTW, I liked how you changed the logo to a banjo-like instrument. Nice.
Thanks!
Oh wow my first time hearing about a banjolele and I’m looking for a smaller banjo this looks good!
I’m glad you like it! Check out my other reviews as well!
Please tune it up.
Thanks, John! You are clearly blessed with perfect pitch! I tuned just before recording. I had just unboxed it so the strings were still settling. I’m sorry if it annoyed you.
Good morning. A comparison with Kala, Aklot, Kmise, Vangoa, whatever banjoleles would be worthwhile. I continue to look for a soprano banjolele for less than $100. I wonder why these banjolele makers do not offer one. As usual, I am looking forward to your review. Thank you, again. Rick
I have a Kmise banjolele, I can compare it with that. I haven’t seen the Vangoa banjolele. I would like to review the Aklot!
According to CF Martin, sapele is African Mahogany.
Good to know! Thanks! Thanks also for watching and commenting!
About to get this banjolele. How do you make the bridge stay in place please ?
The string tension holds the bridge in place. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@stevesstrings5243 thank you
Steve -- doing a fly-by -- you know I am going to pick on you ... oh, sorry, mean going to go pick some music ..be back .... keep going .... bob
Thanks for checking in, Bob!
Why are you saying Ookulele?
Because that’s the correct pronunciation of the Hawai’ian word, not you-kah-lay-lee. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Strap buttons on it? TY
No. People usually attach straps to the hardware on the rim.
@@stevesstrings5243 Ah! TY 4 that info. I know I'm gonna end up with one of these. I cringe installing buttons. Again, TY!
@@ecentricbirdlady This is a nice little banjolele. Don't be afraid of installing strap buttons. It's easy. There are many videos on RUclips that show how. It's as simple as drilling a hole and screwing in a screw.
Stopped on by -- not sure if this video is the latest - I am fighting some 'technology' problems -- bob
Thanks for stopping by, Bob! Yes, this is my most recent video. What do you think of it? I hope your tech issues get resolved quickly!
It took me 7:10 to hear how crappy that pos sounds, damn!!!
