Saw this band come up on MTV , so I thought I'd check it out and they rock.! She has an amazing voice.
Just so you know, strangers floating out there in the ether enjoy it when people post time specific moments (i.e. 2:52), because we then look forward with anticipation to that moment, waiting for something special which might or might not come, and when when find our own souls singing on cue , we find ourselves resonating with another spirit, overlaid and yet 10, 20, a million miles away. Haunting indeed. Vulnerable. Beautiful...

Heard the song this morning on (electronic music/dance) radio on my way to work. Fell in love with her voice and had to look this up. She is 100% as I imagined her when I heard her voice. Every other person I met/saw after hearing their voice first never turned as I imagined them. She is the sole exception.

Kevin Johnson how does that suggest this music is bad? The majority of popular artists have a strong stage presence to make up for the shitty music they produce. Granted, there are artists with a strong stage presence who produce good music, but the lack thereof doesn't mean their music is poor
Chill music, her vocals and the melody sound steady especially when shes doing it live. Her voice can set the tone for any sappy love occasion. Hats off to this group, if I wore a hat that is.

Yep, I discovered Chvrches the other day which opened me up to a bunch of really neat from that corner of the UK.
This is one of very few bands I listen to that I prefer the live music to the clean, studio versions, one reason definitely being the consistency. Her voice live is the same or better than the one I'd hear on the album.

I know that a lot of people don't like her voice live, but I actually prefer it that way! There is so much more emotion in the way she sings live and her voice tends to slightly break at moments, which is really cute!
