    I play a lot of '80s and New Wave stuff and because back then they used real instruments the tempos vary drastically so currently I practice dropping the bangers on the one and the intro over the hook works well with this genre. Great video bruh!

    Just use sync

    • @acidbubblebath77
      @acidbubblebath77 4 года назад +2

      Doesn't work with music that is not quantized and it doesn't work with certain tracks but it can bail you out of a potential disaster if you have no other alternatives and don't have enough time to get it to where there is minimal beat drift while mixing your tracks (pitch bending is always an option for slight misalignments). Then again, if you never had problems with it, then it's all good then. To each his own as far at I see it as long as you're having fun doin it as well.

    Listen, man. I appreciate what you’re trying to do here, but your teaching style is too hard to follow. You’re especially using too much DJ jargon as the basis of your instructions, such as “drop it on the one.” I’m really trying to follow along, but none of this is intuitive. I don’t even see how the first method constitutes a transition. To my ear, it sounds like buttressing two songs together. I’m not trying to bust your balls, either. I genuinely want to learn what you are trying to illustrate. But if you’re going to teach people who don’t know what you already know, you’ll need to consider that they’re hearing it for the first time.
    By the way, this isn’t unique to your channel. Most DJ tutorials that I’ve seen are infuriatingly impossible to comprehend. It’s just the nature of the beast.

      @@iCutWaxYou my friend is what a good teacher is. For fellow with the original comment, I understand you point fully and it is a valid one.
      One thing I would suggest for you is since this is a video on demand, for now instead of getting infuriated, pause the video and google some of these terms.
      I as you can see from other viewers feedback on here, his teaching method is very good.
      Lets keep sharing the knowledge.
