    That last 500m going 30 plus was intense. I'd be the guy to cross wheels and kill everybody.

    • @gyvas
      @gyvas Год назад +25

      I'd be the guy trying to get out to the edge of the field WAY earlier, fearing I'll get boxed in, and then shooting all my matches too early in the wind. Seriously, all I could look at was not even Sean, it's "it's 500m to go and you two are still in the MIDDLE of the pack, how do you even get to daylight in this little time much less make a sprint from way back there?" guess it comes with experience

    Hey Jeff. Could you put together some content on cornering at speed? Watching you guys corner that fast has always confirmed that my own bike and wheels CAN hold the road. I just have no confidence that they will. I'm a tall racer, 6'3" with a high center of gravity on my bike, so I always feel like I'm going to caterwaul off the road and fly into a tree or lose grip and slide out. Please put something together about cornering skills, techniques, and definitely the confidence and mentality to corner like that. Thanks. Great video. Congrats on the 1/2.

First through that chicane would have been a guaranteed win. Was probably cat 3 at the time, cuz I was never so close in the 1/2 races.
