That last 500m going 30 plus was intense. I'd be the guy to cross wheels and kill everybody.
I'd be the guy trying to get out to the edge of the field WAY earlier, fearing I'll get boxed in, and then shooting all my matches too early in the wind. Seriously, all I could look at was not even Sean, it's "it's 500m to go and you two are still in the MIDDLE of the pack, how do you even get to daylight in this little time much less make a sprint from way back there?" guess it comes with experience
😂
You could ride in the Giro then! Stage 5 finish was like that. 😂😂
This comment 🫨🤣
Jeff moves through a field so smoothly.
Almost cavendishy
@@bernardo9202 naw Cav always had a leadout train, I'd say more like Sagan surfing through wheels
@@stangy007 you need to see more of cav, cause that man, raced a tone without any leadout, and won a lot alone
Those final 700m had me HYPED! Felt like I was right there with you. Quality content!
This was awesome to watch without rear cam and then with rear
The fact that you guys had only 2 riders on your team for that race and you got the 1-2 is amazing.
You truly are a master tactician
That was a crazy "leadout" and early jump to the line from a boxed in position. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time it happened. LETSGOOOOOO Jeff and Sean.
Dude that is pure trust right there. Helluva sprint.
That was a great last lap…
In my head if I was riding next to you guys and I hear Jeff ask can you win and he just says yes.. I would be like wtf 😅
"LETS GO JEFF"
is probably the Best thing jeff has heard this year 😂
Dude, this is peak norcal content. Exhilirating stuff, love it!
Great job Jeff and Sean! Going early was the key way to execute on the plan even if it didn’t go 100% as planned!!
Shout out Sean! Seems like a great guy. That was super fun to watch. Well done guys
Cool being able to watch the front and rear footage, nice win for Mike’s Bikes
Dude that was some awesome handling skills. Pushing through that narrow opening like it was nothing. 🤌🏽 grade A content on this one. Cool to see EJ in the same race.
Love how you ran the finish twice, as the gap was a surprise. Hell of a finish guys!
Might be the best one yet! Awesome finish guys! Really enjoyed the breakdown at the end with and without the rear cam
That was a MONSTER send at the end on you both. GEEZ
just have to say every time a new video is uploaded I can't wait to watch it. congrats on yet another victory and watching your content and commentary is just so fun!!! thank you so much!!
Voler deserves a shout for doing most of the work to bring back the late break with half a lap to go.
that was an absolute gorgeous early Launch! nice work! very nice work man! Remember "you can be my wingman anytime"!
One of your if not your best finish to date. Well done.
commentary world class jeff
Thank you !!
hahaha epic, great job Jeff and Sean!! What a brilliant race, great video, thanks very much.
That was a really exciting finish! Fantastic view back at Sean sprinting clear of the field there! Awesome stuff!!
Your comentary is just pure fun i watch other channel but i think your insights and enthusiasm is what sets you above the rest great sprint great video as always cant wait to see more jeff
Also Saun is a beast he remind me a bit of Mark Cavendish 😅
That kid Sean is a straight beast. I was convinced he was boxed in and wasn't gonna be able to stay on your wheel. I dunno how you fit your nuts through those gaps, Jeff. Well done
Huuuuuge power dump on the final sprint. very impressive stuff from both of you.
i forgot to breath for a few seconds there. Wheeeew, what an exciting sprint finish. Congrats Shaun and Jeff!
Great race, great finish. Again, thank you for providing QUALITY NorCal content, well narrated.
Wow!!! That was a great finish! So unselfish of you to be leading out but glad you were rewarded with a podium finish! 👏👏👏
Thanks EJ and Jeff! Super fun watch. Lesson: if someone asks you if you can win....say yes.
Sean puts his money where his mouth is 💪
Love your videos. Between the great perspectives, the editing and the commentary, you really feel like you're in the race. Great job on the 1-2 finish.
These videos are just awesome. Love the race craft, the insight and the perspectives of what actually goes on in these races.
Loved that editing at the end with no rear cam! Was a cool reveal when you brought it back.
Can you win? "Yes". Awesome guy
Imma start calling you and Sean Batman and Robin 🔥
That finish was supreme from both of you, congrats!!!
Wow that was prob the best video ive seen. So intense. Great job. Great vid. Love it.
hell yeah sean, caught the group lackin and capitalized
The Match Factory almost stacked it. Good job keeping it upright EJ!
That was wild! Congratulations guys
Holding a 1000-1200 watts sprint for 15sec and a sprint that lasted 30 . You aint human
Oof, that was extremely tight at the end. Sean has no fear!
that was an insane setup, i think you should credit yourself too, like nearly 1300 watts for a quarter mile w/o radios or pre race prep. feels good to see a nice performance no wrecks so thank you for posting.
Super exciting and so well represented with the way you used the footage to explain the race dynamics.
40mph 400 meter sprint in the wind... you're fast af
3:20 Hey look, it's EJ blasting through the wind AGAIN lol.
Hindsight is 20/20...
A little bit a luck and a whole lotta experience and fitness! Way to go Jeff and Shawn 👍 great one-two. Great production and content.
Love watching you guys race and win!
Heck of a video and commentary.
Hey Jeff. Could you put together some content on cornering at speed? Watching you guys corner that fast has always confirmed that my own bike and wheels CAN hold the road. I just have no confidence that they will. I'm a tall racer, 6'3" with a high center of gravity on my bike, so I always feel like I'm going to caterwaul off the road and fly into a tree or lose grip and slide out. Please put something together about cornering skills, techniques, and definitely the confidence and mentality to corner like that. Thanks. Great video. Congrats on the 1/2.
That was awesome! Great race. Cool course too, pretty long for a crit, looked like fun!
Nice job boys!
You two are some Beasts 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼
Holy shit! That was so awesome.
You guys are beasts 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That was so dooooope! Hell yeah. Also did EJ join velokings? Good on him!
Damn well done to you both!
This is like a top CIA operation tactics revealed. Thanks as always ✌️💪
So happy to see you guys pick W's!!!
Great having you back Jeff. The unofficial fourth member of Hanson has been hijacking your channel with vlogs.
That’s the stuff dreams are made of right there
That was actually quite impressive
Hella teamwork brother!
Wow great video
Super job
Sean reminds me of Mark Cavendish. Just looks like he doesn't belong on a bike at all until you see his sprint and then its nothing but grace in motion.
HOLY SHIIII! That was intense! Love this!
Flippin awesome 💪
So good man! Love it! Congrats
that was a nice long sprint
Super Awesome Sprint!!
so hype!!!
That was epic!!!
beast as always jeff!
That was awesome
Watching the difference between a cat 3 (EJ) and Jeff is gold.
that corner in 02:35 my ghad, so smoooooth !!
Shawn gj
The door opens with 300m to go wow 👌🏻
Wow. Impressive!
Well done, fellas!!
Hahahaha so Sean didn't actually benefit from your leadout -- you guys have two sprinters that don't even need a leadout!
good job boys!
1200 watts?!?! He's a human horse. Horsepower
that was great ! thats why at the Pro level its so physical in the bunch sprint. contact is required to hold a leadout wheel. in a race with big elite teams that are known to be very physical. you guys will need to be a bit more aggressive .
Holly sh*t ! That was awesome.
Great effort Jeff!! Hey any chance the you get that cool dutch guy wit his races over in Europe back on the channel?
The maned man made his presence known by twitching in front of Jeff with no far to go. Great 1, 2 win to Mike's Bikes.
Great idea to remove the rear cam for last few hundred meters. It was very exciting!
When I'm racing in my head before the race it's like I'm smart I watxh norcal I have boss strategy but it different in real life when your heart rate is 180 plus to make the right decisions weather to chance or notm
I remember the one time I did that race, I thought it was too far so I didn't get to the front before the chicane, some weird move in front of me made me lose speed and I came in 4th. First through that chicane would have been a guaranteed win. Was probably cat 3 at the time, cuz I was never so close in the 1/2 races.
Damn I need a Cervélo Soloist
I don't think I have ever ridden 40 mph without the aid of a large hill.
Super cool!
What was the winner time?
Holy white lycra batman
Wow
In terms of skills, is there a vast difference between the pros and, say, Cat. 2? What does it take to go from Cat. 2 to Cat. 1? What equipment is made available to riders in these hugely talented riders? I am a Cat. 4.
risk reward... AI couldnt do it better. Well done
WOW!!!
