Theists ask so many questions but rarely answer any truthfully. If they just showed something supernatural, but they know they can't and never will. So dishonest.
There are endless reports of repetitive strain injuries from people who type the most common sentence ever. The calamity has prompted tech companies to produce new keyboards with an extra key to the left of the Esc key. Asnefag. Lifetime guarantee to never go out of date - forever - or longer.
Lets say for a minute there is a god. What makes you think you have chosen the only true one? May Lord Kamadeva Hindu God of Love and desire pour his blessings upon you. Just as likely he exists as your god.
How can he use the cogito to refute reality because we may all in the matrix or evil demons yada yada…and then use the contingency of things in reality to infer there is a god that grounds them?
I honestly don't think they're morons. I think they are so afraid of reality that they have to believe that something is in control of everything. My 8 yr old has recently started asking existential questions and you can really see the fear in his eyes when I tell him Idk. He say things like "who created us?" and when I ask him why does he think we are created he seems genuinely confused. Most of the people around him are Atheist yet he still assumes we were created. I know for theist this is proof but to me it shows the comfort in believing someones has their hand on the proverbial wheel whether its actually true or not.
@@chrisxrtg6206 me and my wife looked into this a little and essentially its similar to believing in monsters under the bed or in the dark. It much simpler to assume agency is behind everything then to assume things can just happen. Think of it like a kid banging their foot on a door and saying it hit me. My son is also a advanced reader for his age and is very detailed oriented so I dont expect this stage to last much longer.
Morality is objective and universal but god can subjectively change it whenever he likes to do whatever he wants like drowning babies, ordering or allowing genocide of specific populations or allowing possession of people as slaves. apparently this is not a contradiction for theists
"You should not do that" is an implied conditional statement that relies on the assumed social contract that lies between each person participating in an organization of some kind.
Theists want oughts so they can justify doing horrible things and blaming god instead of just being a good person facing the world honestly and not as a theist coward using the bible as an excuse for their evil actions.
@@scottbroadfoot3530 Yes here is one of many, my friend claims he has a ‘BIG God’ in the bank (Not 100% powerful). Almost every time he has any problems, he says a serious prayer while holding his smart-phone. Then his ‘BIG God’ help him. He has no money in the bank as I know. I have seen many evidences for this.

Bro lost it early but I laughed out loud when he said speed limits aren't mind dependent.
So right away - "I don't know, so magic." FFS.
18:00 'It could be that the evil demon does somthing in X way.' Great, demonstate that demons exist.
And STILL!!!!! No evidence for a ‘God’ 🤔

will god put in an appearance this time, will travis cast the right spells to summon up the god demon? no, of course not, they don't even try do they.
Are all believers idiots? It seems so. Asked in another way: is there a theist who doesn't sound like a moron?
NO! 😂🤣😂

Secod part of the debate is pointless. There is no objectove mortality. I wish that both Athiests and Thiests would grow the hell up and accept that.
$50 and you can argue with tom about that.
