This video by FitnessFAQs will be covering arguably the hardest pushup in the world, the 90 degree pushup. This exercise is also called the hollow back press in gymnastics. In order to progress towards 90 degree push ups, you need to have a solid handstand and be capable of at least 3 handstand pushups. This exercise is so hard due to its huge range of motion, nearly all upper and lower body muscles are used. This 3 step tutorial will guide you through the progressions needed to master 90 degree push ups.

Full fucking beast mode for this tutorial...
It's admirable because you have a so well proportioned body, upper and lower body size.
Never seen his face so red :O
Never seen my face so red too
Tomato man.....!
Damn Daniel
Man.. Ur body - respect. That's a lot of work.
and time. all natural over 5+ year period
Daniel been training for 10 years now iirc.
Wow thats impresive well done man for the time and effort you put into the training, alot of people look up to you Thanks for sharing it with us :D i be waiting for more videos :) All the best
Epic Fitness Mental Warrior ac e in search bar wont regret
Information and quality of the Video are simply insane mate!
Unbelievable strength - you are a tall man with excellent Quad development, only so many people watching will appreciate the added difficulty.
Daniel, can you do a video on all the calisthenics equipment you have and suggest?
For instance I know you suggest Serious Steel resistance bands on Amazon, it looks
Like you use the Rep Fitness wood rings set with numbering on the straps, a rogue fitness dip belt to hold plates and I believe this is a Rogue fitness parallette set. Can you do a video on the calisthenics equipment you suggest for beginners, intermediates and advanced as well as recovery tools you suggest (such as a foam roller or gua sha muscle scraping/massage tools et. al). I’d appreciate seeing that video.
Never, in any of the videos I've watched on this channel have I seen Daniel actually struggle with an exercise. If even he was struggling with this one it has to be ridiculously hard
"Hold for a brief moment, which feels like eternity [...]"
lmao
#Relatable
Whenever you want to trade back muscles, I'm here. 🤓
Video ends at 1:22
(Just kidding)
This is easy, hold my protein shake.
But seriously that's incredible, you really worked hard to reach this point Daniel. Respect.
Interesting video, recently this is one of my favourite movements, i'm going to 10 reps in a row , it will take a bit of time :D
Calimnastic ❤️😍
Well, if you accomplish that feat with your usual perfect technique it will be somewhat worth watching :D
Planche legend 😊
I can't even hold a handstand without a wall,but....i love you Daniel !!!
Can you hold a handstand now?
@@keegancasagrande5695 Hey man,no i don't.I haven't even started practicing it.My focus is still buildind more basic strength. But i will gei it eventually, that's for sure.Hope you will too!
@@anambivalentenemy i already got the handstand without the wall for 40 seconds and i am working on planche front lever and one arm handstand! Best of luck to you my friend!
@@keegancasagrande5695 great work man!
I already achieved the front lever and can hold it for 8 seconds now
The tutorial of "osvaldo lugones" helped me a lot if you want to try it out🤷♂️
Keep it up!
@@antonioc3543 thx but i am at one leg front lever and one leg planche but thank you for that i will go watch that!
I am a long ways away from this but someday I want to do one of these. I am 3 weeks into Body By Rings and loving it! Hopefully BBR is helping me lay the strength foundation I’ll need to eventually do moves like this.
Daniel - Great stuff! Love the progressions. Is the exercise possible without the parallettes? Hands on the floor? Let me know!
You know shits hard when the real life CGI character starts struggling
Awesome video Daniel. I'm just starting out and working towards a handstand, my motivation just went through the roof! Keep it up star.
I don't understand your tutorial 🤣
Daniel protects the bodyweight scene from the "no legs"- comments
Loving the location of the new videos! Accurate and informative as always. From one physio to another 😊
It's not the hardest push up variation but it's one of them. All kinds Planche push ups is the hardest in my opinion. Great video btw 👍
Your production values and editing have gotten really good over the past few years Daniel. Very clear and precise teaching. Great job man!
Bro you're looking like Thanos!!! 💪💪
Guess I'm gonna have to learn free hand stand😣
Wow🤘👍
Nice location.
man the quality and production level is seriously going up, love it, keep em coming.
Much more impressive than being able to bench press x-amount of weight.
That's a beast mode video. I look forward in a few years to achieve this moove! Thx Daniel, i will practice these steps carefully!
Daniel your legs thick af. What are your shorts brand? I can't find short-shorts, cuz mainstream fast fashion are below knees for chicken legs everywhere. Need vintage 1950s shorts comeback.
P.S. - Can you easily dunk basketball?
Another great video!! Can you please consider on doing a similar video for the one arm push-up. Calisthenic movement did a while back but i would like to see you go into more detail with that topic. Thanks for the video and keep up the good work!
how is your planche doing? looks like your shoulder strength has improved since your previous planche videos
I know right? I've been very happy for Daniel! I remember when he used to do straddle 90 degrees back in the day, and look how much he improved!
Keep going buddy.
God damn Daniel, you're such a beast in bodyweight skills. You're one of my role models !! Respect
Hey super video but I have a question, my elbows want to meet they refuse to open towards,I hope you understand, have you some advice
All progressions? You are an excellent, thoughtful instructor. Thanks so much, Dan!
Just focus doing hspu and planche push up. This move is a free gain from having to focus those 2 exercise
What a real strength he's make it look so easy.
Beginners can do Elevated Hindu Push-ups. Thank you for making us know this exercise, will start to make progress 👍
Not even close to hardest push up in calisthenics
back clap planch pushups be like 👀
Great vid! I've been working on this for about 9 months now. I messed up at first because I had too many goals at once. I narrowed it down to planche and handstands. Nailed that, and now I'm working on combining the two into a 90° pushup. It'll be another year before I get there, but breaking everything down into smaller components and focusing on that one goal has really helped.
How do you avoid the "arch" once you hit 45 while lifting yourself up from the 90?
Someone here signed the bodyweight academy? This program gives you routines? Do you guys recommend?
The most badass fucking calisthenics skill imo, can’t wait to get it. Gotta keep getting my weighted dip up and my delt strength up first
dammit makes me wanna try, but got a forarm injury... its not recovering very fast cause well I use the forarms for almost everything xD
I tried this pushup but could not do it.i am over 230 pounds.i need to loose weight.this is one hard pushup.but you do it so seemingly effortlessly it's amazing how you do it.
Isn't it unhealthy to have one's face so red? Can't cause some problems in the long run? My head gets quite red when doing normal hspu.
I want those bar things you use. Does anyone have any tips regarding them? Should you build your own and what kinds should you avoid getting?
90 degree push ups are like normal push ups for Littlebeastm xD
Man I bet he damn nearly passed out after those reps. I think 90% of the blood in your body rushed to your head Daniel😅😂
That is incredible. Awesome job.
Is this possible on the floor or only on the parallets?
this push exercise is not even close to full planche pushups.. why does everyone promote it as hardest push exercise when its obviously not ?????
I see your face getting purple and i cant help thinking that this maybe harmful in the long term.
Your editing has come leaps and bounds from the early days. The journey to get this exercise is an epic one, thanks for making video.
Hardest push up ever ?
What about the deep archer full planche push up, pelican, one arm full planche push ups ?
Is it a clickbait ?
This is incredible, but the the wine red color your face turns with all these increduble tension you are going through, scares me too much. Looks like a runway to a stroke.
This is the bomb . congratulations.Your tutorials have helped me alot in my calisthenics journey.Much appreciated.Much you respect
Thanks a lot man!
I'd love a press HS tutorial if possible :D
Negative legs together and straddle back up if you need another middle transition
dont know why but even if i see this guy doing knee push ups, it will look as such a cool and difficult exercise.
When you start a video and in the first 5 seconds realize you don't even meet the minimum requirements to try what's in the video 😂
Every time I see your video I hope and work to be like u Thnxxx Daniel
Im deffo going to give bodyweight evolution a try. Im just wasting my time and money on gyms and getting no results.
Why cant i even do a normal pushup 😥😥😥 like literally i stay at the same spot no matter how hard i try !!!!
Aren't planche push ups more difficult?
this is easy, nothing compared to planche or Maltese ring pushups.
Coment: full plak push up
EDFL? Who do you play for man? I live in Pascoe vale area
It's hard for you because you have to press those fucking tree trunks up.
What is the proper way of breathing ? The reason for this question is that for me it seems that breathing technique affects my performance a bit.
What abaut planche pushups.. i tried this and can so easy do 2 or 3 reps.. plance pushups are difrent story
Any homies know what parrallets he uses in this video? Im in the market for some new ones and these look hench.
I think the hardest push up is the Pelican Planche push up. But i think this push up is hard enough for me 😁
i can do it but every time i try it , my head and the blood in it EXPLODES
Whelp all I have to do is get my handstand
Get 3 handstand push-ups and then get the rest of this video
It is dangerous to put too much blod in face?
Your head looks like it's about to explode because of all the blood that can't get back to the heart.
what about tiger bent handstand pushup
Thé version using the chair is where I’ll start
Wouldn’t planche pushup be a lot harder?
I think this video can make one gay.
Which is most harder, this or straddle planche?
Bruce lee push up one hand with two finger is the hardest
Holy shit this looks like absolute hell!
Is the equipment bolted to the floor??
O thought you were ronaldo
Now I am able to do , because of you , thank you
Que va a ser eso el más difícil, si es de principiantes en calistenia
Maybe in 10 years I'll do one...
The Hardest pushup ever UNLOCKED! :D Very good feeling !
Planch is not right arms should go straight
Guys, is Body By Rings worth it?
And now how to do it on the ground?
Very good bro ! I work it actually it’s my objectif ! Go hard and stay strong all brother 💪❤️ breaking the barsss
Immagine trying to do it with only one arm
Planche push up is way harder
Can anyone else hear "the lick"?
Nice workout! Which one is harder
90 degree pushups
Or Full planche?
Training for full planche thinking I will be able to 90 pushups at my goal!
