I have never once found a aftermarket seat cover that fits really well. Often just have to accept some imperfections even after steaming and stretching.
I rarely feel any envy, but this Supra ticks all the right boxes for me. Super clean and nice, absolutely love it! Oh and cool to see Moose on the channel again, one of my favourite SA characters!
I know how much you guys like feedback. That no music montage for the seat bracket was pure ASMR and you need to bring us more of that. That was AWESOME
I swear mounting seats is always a 30 minute job that takes 4 hours. No matter what.

Got the recaro sliders, Planted base and they fit perfectly!
I like the ASMR style filming during the seat base modification versus dubbing music over.
For some reason it gives me anxiety. 😂
For the steering wheel. I got a more concave wheel that solves my knee hitting the wheel while heel and toe. And you can lower the wheel more and still have room for your knees.
I’m not sure why the back seats bother some people, I think everything ties in super nicely, especially if you look at it from a 90’s style perspective. I think the interior looks awesome, great work guys!!

I have Recaro Sportster GT's (with Planted mounts) in my car as well and absolutely love them.
It's amazing how much of a difference it makes to the driving feel, for me at least right up there with adding an atb diff to the car.

I’d put a 5mil steering spacer. I did that in my Miata and it changed everything.

I've really been enjoying your JDM legends series guys, awesome cars, awesome content and it's so fun to watch your videos! Hit up those faded speaker grilles with a few light coats of Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric spray and they'll be looking factory fresh again. BTW I used all hog rings when I recovered my MKIV seats and it was pretty straight forward.

I wasn't sure about the color of the caliper. But now looks amazing with the wheel. The seats looks awesome.
I was having exactly the same problem with the bride rails and this was exactly what I was looking for to seat lower. Love how this series is really helpful also for viewers in picking up the right products.
I didn't even buy the lowest Bride seat rails, and I sat so low only my eyes were visible when looking in the side window, and I am 6ft1. I looked and felt rediculous. So I used a Steel square bar to raise the seats close to an Inch. Now I can see out the windows and have about 2" of headroom above my racing helmet. I dont understand why you had to make your seats any lower than a Bride rail? I purposely bought the tallest one they make so i wasnt sitting under the dash.

Although your not sure on the suede I have to say I like how the suede matches with the rear speaker grills and seat belts. Definatley breaks up the visual look of the rear of the interior. Looks great!!
Beautiful job on the interior boys! It's really looking fantastic. Seating height in Supra's has always been my biggest issue too. I'll keep you posted on the central locking kit too, hopefully it'll fit under those low seats! I really want to see some quick footage of Pete's stash sometime, it's really become legendary!

I would try taking a heat gun to the baggy areas of the seat bottom. It should relax the material and conform to the foam better.
Although both cars are badass, the clear winner is the Supra so there is no need to wait for warmer weather conditions...🤘

You can always redo the sides on the bottom piece and add extra foam to help with the wrinkles

Guys if the original seat covers have the wires in them you need to transfer them over to the new seats. It will get rid of some of that bunching.
The back seat reminds me of my IS300 seats, they had the blue tint color on them.

I think zip ties are easier but would be concerned that cutting slits would cause the material to tear easier. Maybe use a punch or pick to make a circular hole? Or if it's not real leather, a soldering iron?
I did a few seat upholstery changes, i work at dealership, and we often use cable tie method, but what i can tell you is if it looks crooked and like mesh, or baggy, it should fix itself overtime

Could have tapped the seat base frame.
Put some foam in the baggy seat
Put a spacer in the steering wheel hub.
Seems like pop rivets would’ve been a better solution to attach the seat mounting plate to the slider rather than trying to bolt it from the underside.
Pop rivets wouldn’t be strong enough - especially in an accident.

Thank you for the heads up on the Starrett Center punch. I ordered one of these following the like in your description for the Starrett 18a and it came today. It seams really good quality only I was a little disappointed with the force it has, doesn’t seam as powerful as yours. I noticed there are some more heavy duty ones and just wondered which model you have as show in this video?

On a car that is so sought after and valuable, the rear seat covers would bug me until the whole interior matched. You can’t do a Supra half assed.

Yeah not a big fan of that back seat should definitely match. Another option would be a high spec carbon fiber and or carpeted to match rear seat delete.
