Lyrics:
It's been so long, girl, since I felt this way
So many times you stole my heart away
Before I say the things I want to say
I need to know that you will be the one, the one for me
I'd like to know how far this love will go
I want to be the one who's left to know
That this won't only be a memory
Just tell me what you see, just what this love can be
Just look into my eyes and tell me what you see
Promises were broken, now it's you, girl, that I need
Just look into my eyes, you'll see a rainbow we can share
Please don't let this be another lie
Just look into my eyes, just look into my eyes
Couldn’t be anymore grateful that I lived in this era of music AND grew up on it. Nothing will ever replace or surpass this style of music.
Music is all downhill. Nothing good like it once was
The 😮😢😢 2:02 months
Me 2, the best music ever ❤
Damn straight 💯%
Freestyle Forever ♥️🫶🏽🔥🔥🔥
I am so glad that I had the opportunity to enjoyed, lived & dance the 90 s wonderful golden era of music 🎵
I miss those days , such a great memories 🦋💋
I cannot believe it’s been 32 years since this was released! Omg 😱 I remember it like yesterday. Miss this music ! Long live Latin freestyle! Music today is very sanitized sounding.
This song is awful dude. Wtf 😂
0:55 yes.
Are you crazy? 2020s music is way too nasty and vulgar! The 80s and 90s had so much romantic, danceable and exciting music and great lyrics. The singers from the 2010s onwards just talk about sexual positions, money and promoting drug dealing! There's no melody and soul in music today!
@@matthewprince9705 I am saying the same thing you are in just a different way. I wasn't referring to the lyrics of the song but rather to how awesome freestyle music is. I agree the lyrics of today are ruthless and vulgar. I probably should have phrased my comment differently. I agree with you 💯
30 years later, and I still love this song! He's still adorable!
I was around 13 years old when I first heard this song, 43 now. Thank you George Lamond for all your music! 🎼💜💜💜
Same here great music!
❤❤❤
I know he was awesome!!!
Same..you took the words right out of my mouth
15 when it came out, and 48 now ..
One of the greatest freestyle artist of the 80s . Wish freestyle would make a comeback. Listening to this on NYC hot 97 in summer of 1990 while chilling on the beach in long Island with friends was the best part of my childhood.
The 80s music is the greatest music ever created
Don't let it go my people
I still use the word jacked up
This will never get old.
Love freestyle brings it back to New York City Brooklyn still is the best music in 1980😘
I'm 60 years old now and I can still dance to this day to this! Wow has music changed over the years!
Back in the days I was asked if I wanted to be a back up dancer...80s
That’s what I’m talking about I’m 55 and I’m glad we all lived this music. This is music coming together and dancing it off at any age if you lived this music back in 8’s.
This music was definitely the best and will never age! ❤️
Same here Denise! Danced my ass off at the clubs, I would give anything to go back for one weekend of clubbing🙏🕺
I’m turning 60 next month and I can still dance like before in the clubs. I wish they brought back clubs instead of like what the kids do now and stand around in bars .
Yeah, I used to dance my ass off and was asked a few times to dance on stage in the clubs. Many knew I could move, but I chicken out and told them to ask my roommate and they said it’s alright. Lol! So I know they wanted me to dance on stage and not just anyone.
This is still better than most of the crap on the radio nowadays.
agreed
+Mike L YEAH
no doubt
hell yeah
I am gonna teleport to back then and stay there forever. Times were much simpler and A LOT happier too...❤️❤️❤️❤️
Please take me with you and I’ll bring my Girbaud jeans with me. 🤠
@@jacknjill3000 Oh yeah don’t forget the jeans…🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🥰
Many of us would love to join you. Scotty beam me up!! I don't like it here anymore.
Only us Puerto Ricans can look that good
Na....u mean Colombian home boy😊🥃😛

Absolutely right!!!!

Yeah me too.
Ana Amelunge en
Arturo Lazaro : me too LoL
Definately...!!
And know what I know now
Fun fact about my boy George Lamond, he was a hell of a break dancer and graffiti writer back in the days. We went to Art & Design High School together in NYC. One cool brother
Great guy GREAT voice
Met him in Milwaukee. Loved him since childhood. One of my all time favorites!
What was his tag??
@@deliagonzalez1660 Damn I can't recall. I know that he drew better than I did. His graff characters were dope. Oh and we also share the same last name, Garcia.
@@SmoothBlendzTV my husband is a graffiti writer, piecing more than anything. He still gets together with OGs in New York to paint.
To be 17 again! Not ashamed to say this is still the best music to have danced to back then!!!!!
I always admired the music that came from this genre, George Lamond is an inspiration to listen to. Thou I'm never accepted as a Latino or even on the streets for anything or by anyone ever in this place, and I rather it kept this way for me peace.❤🙏
This song still gives me goosebumps!!
So much raw emotion in these songs, is healing for me in a soulless world.
Yes!!!
Music has always been my therapy to cope with anything shot my way. 😊
The music played today can never come close to the Freestyle Music from the 80's! This was what we danced to at the clubs in NY and todays generation can admire and wish they grew up in that era.
Alina Sanso. Yes freestyle all the time
Freestyle forever/2020
Amen
👍💯👍
One of the kings of Freestyle
Sometimes I can't play freestyle because it brings back such awesome memories that give me tears. I miss those days. Freestyle forever.
i feel the same 😂😥
Same. I was just telling my kids about the clubs or going to the water park Atlantis where they would put on these concerts for $5. Such good, mostly innocent times.
Wow, are you talking about Six Flags Atlantis in Hollywood, FL??!!!
Nineteen86 Scarab38 Yes, Power 96 used to put on Freestyle concerts there. Great memories.
tonlo72 When I read the words "water park Atlantis" I couldn't believe it! The Power 96 concerts with DJ Laz and Bo Griffin back in the day at Six Flags Atlantis!!! I remember half of Hialeah would be at those concerts! Wow, these were some of the best times! Jamming to this inside my '87 Grand National, wearing Edwin Jeans, IOU sweat shirt, Fila's... spraying on some Drakkar. Time went by so fast!!
hell yeah this is better than today's hip hop /rap!!! like anyone can rap these days!!! freestyle love forever, 2016 and I still rock Lamond and everyone else!! good memories!!!!
Nothing out there can replace this kind of music! George Lamond, Best freestyle next to Stevie B.
& Johnny O 👍💯👍
@@stacyiverson5284 and Coro.

Man I hate how people says this is ass but the truth is this is real music with a beautiful meaning behind it
Awesome song ... still listen to his music today rather than what is being produced today. This was the best time for music.
Freestyle will never die. This music was the best music that has ever been created. it's 2019 and I still rock this music. Best music of all times.
George Lamond Is
Such A Gentleman!!!!
George Lamond Has
A Beautiful Voice!!!!

Miles Ave/Tremont Bronx,NY (Throggs Neck) Best of MEMORIES...'86-1989...😎😊😊👍👍👍
Represent bronx Graff ave
I can't listen to this too long brings back sadness and melancholy!
Geroge got some serious vocals on him, reaching that high pitch is priceless
2018 and still missing this era. Lamond, Stevie B, TKA. Damn , great times.
I'm 37 and proud of our time 🎶 freestyle music will never end
Wow this music brings back memories of how NYC used to be before it got all gentrified. Bronx and Brooklyn summer block parties used to blast tracks like this one!
Hell yeah those were the days I'm originally from Suffolk county NY myself
Dang. Music back then. U had to be one heck of a singer. Who doesn’t get amazed when a singer can hit those high notes so strong and sustain it so beautiful.
Great song and voice. Loved the 80s and early 90s. Best times of my life.
Mine too miss those club days with no cell.phones !!! Everyone was just dancing having a great night !!!
U rith the best times WOW
WAS BORN '78. RAISED TO LISTEN TO LATIN FREESTYLE
I met George Lamond at a club in Jersey back in the day. He was cool as hell and even bought me a beer !!! He was always my favorite freestyle artist so meeting him was a thrill I'll never forget. I'm 51 now and still love this music just like I did back in the 80's and 90's.The garbage music they have now is terrible.Cursing , degrading women , and acting like thugs is a disgrace to the human race.Glad I grew up in the era I did and feel sorry for the kids these days. They have no idea what real music is.
We certainly grew up in the golden era, didn't we. The music today just makes me sick.
Freestyle. The only music that brings me back to my youth. I love it!
Love this song! CHI-TOWN 💯💯
Straight up Chi-Town.
I know it blows me away too. There's no better music coming out today than this.
Love hearing those Songs*Today*:-) brings back Alot of Memories*
Turning 50 and still recall going to his concert as a teen. Had the time of my life! Girl next to me noticed how I knew all his songs and said I should be there singing with him. I couldn’t agree more!
Just look into my eyes... love this song!!! Love George Lamond
It’s so hard listening to this music. Brings tears to my eyes as it reminds me of my childhood 😢 when my 20 year old aunts would pick me up , I was around 6-7 years old, to cruise around and run errands in their Trans Am GTA and Celica GTS they had. We would listen to this, my god such great memories. Thank you God as I am blessed and RUclips for the closest thing to a Time Machine
Best mix of this song.
Freestyle forever.
George lamond is the best freestyle singer alive, his music and the rest of the freestyle Kings and Queens will never go out of style!

Lots of talent here!
❤ I want to go back to these days so badly I'm willing to pay anything to any flight that will take me there the days of George lamond singing and playing these songs everywhere and everyday happy and good old days back then ❤
Memory lane.. Awesome!
The best male freestyle singer!
Saw him last night live in concert he killed it!
Its Crazy AF to me yall keep shouting 80s 80s. Freestyle began in the 80s it didnt end there. It continued into the 2000s. And Freestyle of this quality even...If you all was about George Lamond youd remember he never had a song in the 80s. George Lamond is from the 90s era when the artform was mastered. Freestyle didnt go anywhere. Just when it wasnt big on radio anymore yall walked away. Its still going on to this day and artists like George Lamond are still crushing concerts playing for the masses so where you at mi gente?
So much passion in music. Such a great style. It gives me Gus bumps.. good times, great memories. thank god for RUclips...I can always go and watch the videos that's all we have left..
Wow! Such a beautiful soul!!! Juice juice and juice raw for life!
Listening to this brought me down a trip on memory lane. Such great music. I want freestyle to come back!
Love freestyle in New York City in Brooklyn was still the best music in 1980😘
I miss the best 90's in NYC!
Freestyle will never go out of style…I’m 45 now and I’ve been listening to this music since I was 13…even my kids now grown like it…and they’re taking me to Sacramento to the freestyle throwback concert on July 2 nd for my b-day!!!🎉@ thunder casino😅!!!
Man 2017 and i'm still blasting this music!! Freestyle 4ever...
I’m glad I came across this song to add to my playlist. I remember this as a toddler riding on the yellow school bus to school on the radio 💯
Reminds me of the early 90's! Good memories. 😍
Was so freaking awesome to have him notice me & take a picture with me 😊❤❤😊
George Lamond is one Talented Singer who can sing in both English with his Freestyle and in Spanish with his Salsa Music. Como mi gusta tu Musica George y muchas gracias por Talento.
You can tell he is a Spanish speaking person. He was so special at my age of 13 and I enjoyed and dreamed of future disco nights that some how happened sooner then I thought. Calmed down now a Christian and with nice memories keeping clean and just enjoying.
Freestyle music has made a big come back in recent years. George LaMond and all the famous Freestyle music artists sold out Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall in recent years and they have been on tour selling out arenas all over the United States and beyond even in Brazil. George LaMond had a top 5 Billboard top 40 hit with his recent song Don't Stop Believin' and recently released his new single Bringing My Love Down and a lot of great Freestyle music legends have released new music. In the 2010s new Freestyle music has been released by TKA, Coro, Nyasia, Joey Kid and Sharyn Maceren among many others. Freestyle music is often also played on TV commercials and many highly ratings top 40 music stations in major markets have started to play Freestyle music a lot more on the radio.
