❤ I want to go back to these days so badly I'm willing to pay anything to any flight that will take me there the days of George lamond singing and playing these songs everywhere and everyday happy and good old days back then ❤
Freestyle will never go out of style…I’m 45 now and I’ve been listening to this music since I was 13…even my kids now grown like it…and they’re taking me to Sacramento to the freestyle throwback concert on July 2 nd for my b-day!!!🎉@ thunder casino😅!!!
I cannot believe it’s been 32 years since this was released! Omg 😱 I remember it like yesterday. Miss this music ! Long live Latin freestyle! Music today is very sanitized sounding.
Are you crazy? 2020s music is way too nasty and vulgar! The 80s and 90s had so much romantic, danceable and exciting music and great lyrics. The singers from the 2010s onwards just talk about sexual positions, money and promoting drug dealing! There's no melody and soul in music today!
@@matthewprince9705 I am saying the same thing you are in just a different way. I wasn't referring to the lyrics of the song but rather to how awesome freestyle music is. I agree the lyrics of today are ruthless and vulgar. I probably should have phrased my comment differently. I agree with you 💯
November 2024 Man i remember this babe back in the days .... He could sing and dance ..the 90s were also the best im so glad i have LIVED to tell ..im 52 y/o so lucky to have LIVED the 80s & 90s era !! ✌️😅
One of the greatest freestyle artist of the 80s . Wish freestyle would make a comeback. Listening to this on NYC hot 97 in summer of 1990 while chilling on the beach in long Island with friends was the best part of my childhood.
That’s what I’m talking about I’m 55 and I’m glad we all lived this music. This is music coming together and dancing it off at any age if you lived this music back in 8’s.
I’m turning 60 next month and I can still dance like before in the clubs. I wish they brought back clubs instead of like what the kids do now and stand around in bars . Yeah, I used to dance my ass off and was asked a few times to dance on stage in the clubs. Many knew I could move, but I chicken out and told them to ask my roommate and they said it’s alright. Lol! So I know they wanted me to dance on stage and not just anyone.
Fun fact about my boy George Lamond, he was a hell of a break dancer and graffiti writer back in the days. We went to Art & Design High School together in NYC. One cool brother
@@deliagonzalez1660 Damn I can't recall. I know that he drew better than I did. His graff characters were dope. Oh and we also share the same last name, Garcia.
Same. I was just telling my kids about the clubs or going to the water park Atlantis where they would put on these concerts for $5. Such good, mostly innocent times.
tonlo72 When I read the words "water park Atlantis" I couldn't believe it! The Power 96 concerts with DJ Laz and Bo Griffin back in the day at Six Flags Atlantis!!! I remember half of Hialeah would be at those concerts! Wow, these were some of the best times! Jamming to this inside my '87 Grand National, wearing Edwin Jeans, IOU sweat shirt, Fila's... spraying on some Drakkar. Time went by so fast!!
