Have been there, a long time ago before the War. First time with my parents, while camping in Borik, later on myself by hitchhiking from Germany over Austria and in Yugoslawia by Train and Bus. I like Zadar !

Half the magic is created by there being no cars. I wish my country's government (Australia) could appreciate this. And no billboards... even the people (unlike many Australians) do not allow their clothing to act as billboards with logos and brandnames.

my mom is here now. she fell in love with the old cities in Croatia and travels to Zadar every year. She also likes visiting Dubrovnik
I was in Zadar and other cities in 1998, I remember many of the streets and buildings in the video. I would love to go back and see it all over again.
